awesomecat42’s Cultsona: Ñecto (pronounced knee-ek-toe) Ñecto comes from a dimension inhabited by a race of creatures similar to what we call felines in ours. In this world, magic, mostly elemental, is commonplace. A curious and ambitious youngster, Ñecto wished to learn all four types of magic: fire, water, earth, and electric. She believed that combining two or more types of magic could create new magic. Unfortunately, this way of thinking was taboo among her people, who believed that anyone able to use multiple types of magic would corrupt the ‘purity’ of both themselves and the magic. With her cleverness and cunning, Ñecto was able to create four fake identities and train under four separate tutors for many years. Eventually, a single slip-up lead to her arrest, and she was found guilty and sentenced to death. Six days before her sentence was to be carried out, she dreamed of a strange creature who called himself Bill Cipher. They struck up a conversation and eventually made a deal. No one but Ñecto and Bill knows the exact details of their agreement, but the gist of it is that Ñecto became a demon with an affinity for elemental magic. She escaped death, and is now free to practice magic in any way she pleases. In exchange, she became one of Bill’s henchmaniacs. Ñecto thinks of Bill as more of a friend then a leader. She doesn’t always agree with all of Bill’s views, but will support and encourage him nonetheless (unless, of course, she thinks he might put himself or her other friends in danger). Ñecto loves chaos just as much as the next henchmaniac, usually in the form of practical jokes. Over time, hanging out with Bill and the gang has corrupted her sense of right and wrong. While still mildly opposed to needless torture, she is definitely not afraid to crack some skulls to get what she, or Bill, wants.
