india doesn’t need more fear. it doesn’t need more silence, or more division wrapped in slogans. it needs care. it needs breath. it needs a government that listens before it rules.
a centre-left, progressive government isn’t just about policy. it’s about people. it’s about saying no one should live in fear because of their name, their god, their love, their voice. it’s about making sure a village child and a city student both have a future that isn’t stolen by greed or hate.
what we have now is a machine that thrives on distraction, on spectacle, on loud cruelty. human rights aren’t a priority — they’re a problem to be shut down. voices aren’t heard — they’re crushed, mocked, jailed.
but we deserve better. a government that doesn’t ask “who do we silence,” but asks “who still hasn’t been heard.” a politics built not on temples and enemies, but on food, books, safety, healing.

Do you hate hinduvta or the modern popular portrayal of it? Because historically, 6 out of 9 schools of thoughts in Hinduism are atheistic, only 3 are theistic.
Because sometimes your criticisms come across as someone who is blindly jumping on the bandwagon on hinduphobia just for the sake of getting validated. Without context or knowledge, this hatred makes you ignorant and shallow.
i critique hindutva, not because it's a distortion of some “pure” version of hinduism, but because it is the dominant political project that weaponises hindu identity today, and that project is violently majoritarian, casteist, and fascist.
crying “hinduphobia” for pointing that out is just a way to silence critique and protect your comfort. hinduism, like all religions, has a history, and that includes caste, patriarchy, and complicity in violence.
before you say “bUt yOu dOn'T taLk abOuT oTheR rEliGionS” i prefer to confront the rot in my own backyard before pointing fingers elsewhere.
also i wish receiving death threats was anywhere close to validation lol.

in india, advocating for muslim rights or expressing solidarity with palestine is often mischaracterized as “islamist”. it’s because the political climate is deeply shaped by islamophobia and communal suspicion.
calling out the discrimination and violence & hate speech against muslims is not extremism. similarly, supporting palestinian rights is a global movement grounded in anti-colonialism and international human rights law.
reducing that to “islamist” sentiment ignores the broad coalition of secular, jewish, hindu, jain, sikh, christian, and muslim voices worldwide who support the same cause. there is a huge difference between standing up for a marginalized group and endorsing violent ideology.
being anti islamophobia or pro palestine is not being anti india. fighting for dignity, equality, and justice for all communities is one of the most patriotic things anyone can do.

being an indian old enough to remember how attitudes were pre-modi era is so scary. my first best friend was a muslim which would not happen if i were to go to school today because of the widespread propaganda against minorities. casteism and caste based violence is rampant in all parts of the country, be it rural or urban. meanwhile, politicians are claiming it is a foreign concept. hindutva is a disease, and i hope every person who voted for modi, or supports whatever is happening in this country in the name of religion rots
