One touch and time flies, Eyes on you

Since AceAnn’s 100-day anniversary is coming up, I thought it’d be fun to share some facts about them!

Annette is loosely inspired by Alice from Alice in Wonderland. I’ve mentioned this before, she’s an OC I created back when I first joined the Twisted Wonderland fandom. At that time, the game didn’t even have an English server yet. Since there wasn’t much official info available, I went with a simple concept and based my MC on Alice. Back then, she was a blonde-haired, blue-eyed girl named Alice! But I later felt that "Alice" was too plain, so I changed it to Annette.

Both Annette and Ace are quick to form opinions about the world around them and are pretty blunt when it comes to expressing how they feel. The difference is, Ace will talk about his feelings, especially complaints, without caring whether the person wants to hear them or not. Annette, on the other hand, is more tactful. She’s straightforward when complimenting others or admitting her own weaknesses, and she can honestly express displeasure, but she’s still more considerate in how she says it.

However, there’s one topic that’s difficult for both of them to talk about: love. They both know that one day, Annette will be sent back to her world. That uncertainty puts a pause on anything deeper. Neither of them wants to risk ruining their friendship, especially since it could also affect their group dynamic with Deuce if things didn’t work out.

At first, Annette had a little crush on Riddle. But to me, a crush isn’t the same as truly liking someone. Her feelings for Riddle were very surface-level. She would blush around him and always wanted to be seen as a "good girl" in his eyes, but she never really hoped for anything to come from it. That phase fades after Book 3.

Ace picked up on her feelings for Riddle pretty quickly. It didn’t bother him much, since he and Annette weren’t romantically involved at that point. In fact, he was the only one who knew about it and the only one Annette was open with. He didn’t support or sabotage her feelings; he just teased her about it from time to time, until he realized that her feelings were shifting.

Physically, Ace can (just barely) carry Annette in a bridal style, but she can easily throw him over her shoulder and still run. This ginger can't even beat her at arm wrestling, not because he’s weak, but because Annette is surprisingly strong for her size.

And one last fun fact: both of them have a thing for cards! Ace uses them for magic tricks, while Annette uses them for fortune telling and she’s really good at it!

RuggieRin... I love when a ship name contains the same letters, like AceAnn or RugRin (let's shorten it—). It just sounds so smooth when I say it, haha. I'm so happy to have another Savannaclaw yume on my timeline!

I'm just a casual yumejin and I yume for fun, so not really a riako type. it just happened that I was creating my oc before I know anything about yume and I didn't think much about details or name because I just wanted to have my mc having fun with ruggie ehe. I also didn't hesitate to use my own name as it's the name I used when playing twst. Thanks for the ask and confirmation about this one!

Holding this small little creature in his hands and doing his best to keep his cool. Little ears peeking out from the head of the hair. Finding himself bouncing as he paces around the room.

"Hi. I'm your dad, I guess. Nice to meet you. I'm probably this huge monster to you right now but I'm not all that bad. Promise. I like to think I'm a pretty decent guy. I mean, I helped make you so that's already getting me a couple points ahead. As long as you don't turn out to be a dick. Wait, I shouldn't swear in front of you should I? Don't tell okay?

We're in this together. I scratch your back, you help me look like I know what I'm doing. Though that's kinda my job isn't it? Taking care of you. Making sure you know how be a person. I might not be your best bet but I'm going to do my best. Give you all the essentials."

The words weigh heavy on him, "You're never going to be hungry. If you're hungry, you tell me right away. Scream if you need to. Those shelves are stocked. Got it?

The same set of eyes stare back at him, seemingly enamored by the sound of his voice. Not a peep of a sob or cry building, at least not from the baby. He hates the tears pricking the sides of his eyes because he can't hide them. He's holding a child that he can't even bring himself to think of putting down. He didn't want to let go ever. This was his baby.

"I'm not going anywhere, okay?"
