The Dark Star outfit from Armstreet is gorgeous. I was intending to study loose sleeves but got distracted by the first picture of gambesons and boots.

I’m pretty slow, but also it’s been years since I’ve attempted anything like this. I think I’ll do a pirate sleeve study to learn some fabric stuff before I line the arms. Also I need to get back into faces again.

Progress Days 9 & 10: Top page is a mess of layers, can’t decide if I want the middle daydream section to be reading from the left as initially, or from the right for a zigzag flow. Finished the next page too. I continue to put off all colours. Pages Complete: 1/30

Pages Inked: 7/30 There’s two more pages left here but I’m considering extending that considering that the last two pages were always too overly crammed and confusingly paced.

Days 7 & 8 Progress: Stayed over at a friend’s place so was somewhat distracted. Ink refused to dry so scanning, stitching, editting and tones on page 5 of this comic will wait for tomorrow.
