I cannot stand people who say “let’s meet up RIGHT NOW” like??? It’ll take me 30 min to even process that I now have to meet you, and that’s not even starting to account for the amount of time required for me to actually get ready, transportation, etc. I’m all for fun spur of the moment/last minute plans, but not LITERALLY

me when my computer was new: *gives computer its own room, carefully places pillows around, NOT blocking the fans of course, cleans interior every weekend, reads it bedtime stories and kisses it goodnight*

i dont mean to be dramatic but talking to someone every day for a while is really nice until that day comes when you like dont talk to them for like 24 hours and u really just feel like youre dying

i feel like crying!! no wait i’m ok!! oh my god i’m so in love!! wow i’m ugly and gross and probably the worst!! wait!! i’m ok again!! time to cut all my hair off!! time to cry again whoops haha!!!!

started crying remembering last summer afternoons when me and my grandma would drive to the bakery to buy fresh still hot bread and then eating it on the way back with the window open and the sun setting. and all summer evenings with bedtime stories on the radio and living off of strawberries and cucumbers and salad from the garden and bread and jam and coffee; i don’t know if i’ll ever be that free again

1. Lay on the floor of your shower until you can breathe again. Water will always love to love your skin. 2. Start writing with the intention of filling up one page. Write until your pen stops working. 3. Reread a book that once made you cry. Learn something new on every page. Notice how different chapter make you sad. Notice how the book didn’t change and grow; you did. 4. Sleep with your windows open. You can hear both the rain and boys drunkenly singing Frank Sinatra on their deck. Both are equally good. 5. Don’t forget that honey will always taste sweet, but the best way to eat it is off your fingers, laughing. 6. Remember that, sometimes, getting out of bed is enough.

1. Respect their need for privacy

2. Never embarrass them in public

3. Let them observe first in new situations

4. Give them time to think, don’t demand instant answers

5. Don’t interrupt them

6. Give them advance notice of expected changes in their lives

7. Give them 15 minute warnings to finish whatever they’re doing

8. Reprimand them privately

9. Teach them new skills privately

10. Enable them to find one best friend who has similar interests and abilities

11. Don’t push them to make lots of friends

12. Respect their introversion, don’t try to remake them into extroverts
