CHECK OUT MY MUGSHOT ON OUR GRADUATE TUMBLR PAGE
I have chosen to push the boundaries of our 'classic' mugshot and was inspired to create a police mugshot to reflect my Final Major Project of rehabilitation for criminals...

Rosie Stevens AUB IAD Final Year Student 2014
http://rosiestevens.tumblr.com/
Rosie Stevens is a talented and interesting new designer on the scene; her enthusiasm for all aspects of design has grown throughout her years at the Arts University Bournemouth. She has a sharp eye for detail and has already worked on many live projects during her three years of study, which include working for a well established interiors design company in Berkshire at the end of each term. They taught her many things and also encouraged her to consume coffee, a lot. Designing and constructing the AUB Fashion exhibition stand at London Graduate Fashion Week in 2013 was an experience, to say the least, but along side a fellow colleague they knocked it out of the park. She loves a challenge!

I am very happy with this visual of the interior space.
This is the communal area the connects all the rooms with directional forms and additional soft seating.

I have started to look into the spatial matrix of the existing building and where I need to locate areas of interest and the relationships between them

This is the OrganiCube by Christian Precht, it is a compact living environment made up of only nine square meters. It houses all facilities for living, sleeping, working and bathing.
It combines the use of one seamless material Corian and simple curved shapes to create a calming and clean cut environment. The space maybe small but there is no feeling of panic and fear from being confined.

Final Presentation Board No.6
After my interim presentation on 23rd April I was advised to explore the Engine Room Café in my depth, the management, how it connects to the use of the garden, the residents involvement and areas of branding.

This is a visual I have created in Google SketchUp indicating the fireman's pole new usage.
I have designed the small space to be used a memorial to the young offenders who pass through the project successfully. They can leave their mark on the building. When they arrive they are encouraged to write something that describes their current emotions or journey and then when they leave they should leave a highly positive message to end their experience.

I really like the layering effect on this image. It really adds depth and character to the image and bring it to live. I am going to use this as inspiration for my final presentation boards for the final submission.

Great work coming from this guy...watch this space

I have looked into the transformers concept and how one form can turn into something completely different and serve a completely different function. I can take so much inspiration  from this concept as this is the kind of idea I want to cling to for the design of the living space for my client.
