LUX IS NOT AN EVIL GOD, CONFIRMED

If you haven’t read Lux by James Goss yet, In the novel, there’s a whole chapter dedicated to Lux’s point of view.

And what it discusses is… quite interesting for a god. The following screenshots are from the novel

Based on the chapter, Lux did not have any original malicious intentions. He entered the theater because he wanted to be worshipped by the people (which, understandable. He’s a god, after-all).

He only trapped the victims because he wanted what they had, life. And he didn’t know how to obtain that.

He also only “became evil” because the Doctor and Belinda refused to worship him and decided to fight back, which upset him.

Lux also had Reginald play movies for him because they made him feel warm on the inside. He even learned the waltz that Reginald and his wife did nightly to try and mimic the love they had.

All Lux wanted was to feel loved and worshipped by people. He wanted to feel alive instead of cold on the inside.

So ladies and gentleman of the jury, Lux is NOT an evil god. He just went the wrong way about solving his problems.

NEW CHARACTER ADDTION ALERT!

Meet Zhang, she a daytime vampire princess (by blood) and she the most prettiest character I have made yet, and I LOVE HER like my god she so pretty and augh she perfect

Anyways her connection to my story is she is an ex to Zeruda story, she is his first childhood lover as in they were gf and bf as kids but due to unfortunate events Zeruda left her behind after causing trouble for her, and they meet again when adults where in this time she feeling down under the weather she isn't doing well in the mind and she just wants everything to go back to the simple times

but while moping she bumps into Zeruda and after a brief talk with Zeruda she can't help but enjoy the taste of nostalgic with Zeruda and due to it she grows a crush for Zeruda longing to be with him once more

anyways I had real fun drawing her, glad I did cause wow I truly love her design

Anyways she an professional assassin and Newton best friend

How could anyone be friends with a monster like Newton tho? Maybe is it cause they both felines? Or both killers in there own sense... maybe cause their ex lovers?

Who knows, all people knows us she devoted to being Newton friend

Scarlet must really do care deeply for Newton to stick by his side for so long since his downfall from being the city former hero to villain
