Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny Review.
So it's been 14 years since the last movie which nobody seems to like, I enjoyed it but I get why people didn't like it.
I'm going to start by saying this movie was fantastic it was a great popcorn movie, do I think it will win any awards? Maybe.
There's no mention of Henry Jones the 3rd played by Shia LaBouf except for in passing.
There are a couple of good cameos in this movie, I will mention them below the Keep Reading...
I think the question everybody is asking is this movie worth seeing in theaters? I say absolutely yes.
This movie has all the Hallmarks you want in an Indiana Jones movie.
action adventure, car chase sequences, fights, the bullwhip, the fedora, Harrison Ford at his best.
Some of you might be wondering how good is the de-aging in this movie? Well it's definitely better than anything we've seen from DC in the last 10 years.
Hats off to industrial Light and magic for making Indiana Jones go from 81 years old to 45 to 35 and back to 81 years old all in one movie.
Is it noticeable? Yes but you don't mind it cuz it looks really good.
Harrison Ford said that they used all the archived footage from all the movies he's done for lucasfilm over the past 45 years to make him look younger in this movie.

So you're asking who has made cameos in this movie? Well we see John Rhys-Davies and later on we see Karen Allen.
As I suspected this movie has to do with a device that allows for time travel.
They didn't spend a lot time bouncing around Through Time although that would have been really cool but the time they did go to was really neat and it worked really well for the story.
As far as how I'm going to rate this movie, I will say this it's better than Crystal Skull but not as good as Last Crusade or the other two.
They should have done this movie 10 years ago.

Todd saw "The Flash" on Thursday Night.

I'm going to try to give you as much of a non-spoiler review as I can. I will put spoilers behind the More tag.
The story is basically "The Flashpoint Paradox" with some differences.
Think of how Zack Snyder used "The Dark Knight Returns" comic for his Batman v Superman dawn of Justice movie, similar but different from the source material.
That being said, this movie is 💯 times better than Batman v Superman dawn of justice.
Was this movie perfect? In some ways yes. In other ways, not so much. The visual effects could have been better But overall the movie was fantastic, I absolutely loved it.
There were some incredible fight scenes, car chase sequences, flying sequences and many other things that make for a great comic book movie.
Let me put it to you this way, I'm going to buy this movie when it's available. I will also probably see it a few more times in theaters just to show my appreciation for the storytelling and the people involved with making it.
If you want to know who all the cameos are I can list them below, just click READ MORE.
SPOILERS AHEAD, you've been Warned.
The first Cameo you see in this movie is of course Ben Affleck's Batman/Bruce Wayne, Jeremy Irons is Alfred.
But we already knew that because of the trailers and commercials but what you don't know is that Gal Gadot makes an appearance as Wonder Woman, helping Flash and Batman with some problems that end with both BATMAN and the Flash getting tangled up in the lasso of truth and sharing some vulnerable personal details.
when Barry decides go back into the past to prevent his mother's dead he runs into a alternative version of himself, Then of course we get to see the alternate universe Batman which is the 1989 Batman, Michael Keaton.
And there's a sequence in the movie where future Berry and past Berry are trying to fix the timeline and in the process they see all these other timelines appear around them showing them various versions of Batman Superman and other Superheroes.
In this sequence we see George Reeves Superman in black and white and then we see Adam West Batman from 1966 and then we see Christopher Reeve and Helen Slater is Superman and Supergirl.
But I think the best Cameo from that sequence in the movie was the Nicolas Cage Superman fighting a giant robotic spider. Which is a thing that we were only aware of because of Kevin Smith and talking about what he was asked to write a Superman movie.
This is also where you find out that the past Berry ends up being Dark Flash, which we see glimpses of him when Flash first goes back in time earlier in the movie.
But I think the best Cameo in the entire movie happens when Barry goes back to what he thinks is his timeline only to find out that it's not his timeline and that his Bruce that was played by Ben Affleck had has now been replaced with George Clooney.
Oh and there is a end credit scene with Ezra Miller and Jason Momoa as Barry Allen & a very, very, very, drunk, Arthur Curry(Aquaman).

Review of Spiderman Across the spider-verse
Hey cousin Todd here, I saw another movie this last week which was Spider-Man across the spider-verse.
There was a lot of other spider people you see in the movie, lots of cameos but very few of them had actual speaking roles amongst them was, spider-gwen(ghost spider), Spider-Man 2099, Spider-Punk, Ben Reilly the Scarlett spider.
reading beyond here are spoilers.
So Miles gets pulled back into the Multiverse where he sees ghost spider or spider Gwen and he stops a Canon event from happening which is in this movie every Spider person has an event that causes them to become a hero like Uncle Ben or some other family member or close friend who dies & causes that spider person to become a hero because that person died.
So because miles prevented this canon event from happening the rest of the spider men and other people are chasing him down to stop him from going back to save his dad from being killed by this bad guy "spot".
There are a lot of cutscenes from other Spider-Man TV shows and movies that were used in this. Like seeing clips from Marvel's Spider-Man on Disney Channel, there were scenes from some of the previous Spider-Man live action films on this as well.
Overall I think this movie was fun to watch it was entertaining lots of action lots of running around lots of bad guy fighting.
I would definitely recommend seeing this movie in theaters if you can.
I give this movie 4 out of 5 ⭐'s

Review: TRANSFORMERS, Rise of the Beasts
Cousin Todd here and recently I saw the Transformers: rise of the Beast movie.
I will say this the movie was a fantastic watch. Will it win any awards for for story or for acting? maybe not but it will get all the awards for special effects.
This movie had lots of action, lots of cars, lots of jets, lots of beasts, there are a handful of humans in this but it's mostly about the Transformers.
Without giving away too much of the story I will say this it's a good movie to see I had lots of fun watching it.
here are the voices of the transformers.. SPOILERS beyond here.
Peter Cullen... Optimus Prime (voice) Ron Perlman... Optimus Primal (voice) Peter Dinklage...Scourge (voice) Michelle Yeoh...Airazor (voice) Pete Davidson...Mirage (voice) Liza Koshy...Arcee (voice) John DiMaggio...Transit / Stratosphere (voice) David Sobolov...Rhinox / Battletrap / Apelinq (voice) Michaela Jaé (MJ) Rodriguez...Nightbird (voice) (as Michaela Jaé Rodriguez) Colman Domingo...Unicron (voice) Cristo Fernández...Wheeljack (voice) Tongayi Chirisa...Cheetor (voice)
if you see it at the AMC Theaters you can get a really cool Optimus Prime popcorn tin.
