Hey all! Rue here.

I know it’s a little late in the day, nearly 10 PM where I am. I promised I’d post some screenshots of my first attempts at 3D sculpting, so better late than never I suppose.

This is Ive. She’s the main character of my story, as I develop stuff more, I will reveal what her character is and her part in my story. But right now, we’re in the early early early moments of story development.

Here’s what ol’ Rue’s got cooked up so far:

Attempt 1 (left) is — looking back — pretty rough. For a very first time doing anything 3D sculpting, I’d say it’s pretty good! She looks like her face was bit crushed, sure, but I like the hair!

Attempt 2 (right)(hopefully y’all see it like I do in the draft) is my most recent attempt. I’m very pleased with how everything is turning out so far! I made the eye lids and balls (laugh) an actual part of the face instead of just drawing them on. The hair looks better, I got around to adding the goggles in her sketch (let me know if you want that and more detail of her design). Next up is adding more detail to the chin on the side profile, and ears.

Hello! My name is Rue, and I’m getting super into 3D art. There is no doubt in my mind that Arcane & Spider-Verse has something to do with this. Eventually I want to spear head a project like that of my own. This is the blog for that. I’ll do other stuff if I feel like it.

I’ve got a 2 test runs down so far, I’ll post them when I get home.
