finally got around to playing it!! that cliffhanger ending….. i am so distressed but oh so happy to see it back again. i hope everyone who dislikes qtaro now sees what a nice guy he is..!! or not, thats okay. hes not for everyone but i love this big buff idiot lol

i love anzu and ranmaru so much… TT___TT i went in expecting to love anzu for OBVIOUS REASONS but i did not expect to love ranmaru as much as i did!! honestly all the new characters are soo great. i bought and played the demo forever ago when it came out and had to keep my mouth ZIPPED about all of them so its SO REFRESHING to now see them all out in the open!!! i can draw them now without spoiling the people!

all in all i think everything about this chapter was SO fun. the puzzles were a blast, what with all the new cute animations and sprites!! fun enough that i can forgive that cliffhanger ending… AGHH. nankidai i forever give my life to you

Hey there, love the art! I just thought I'd ask who some of your least favourable YTTD characters are and why. Weird thing to ask, I know, but I'm honestly pretty curious.

mild spoilers for up to chapter 2 beginning of part 2 ahead!!

probably an incredibly boring answer but: nobody (except gashu)! super cheesy, but i seriously love every character in this game so much, they all mean the world to me (except gashu)!! even the floormasters, despite being villains, are some of my favorite characters ever. 

i’d say the only person i dislike is– surprise –gashu, but i still really like him as part of the story. still, he’s an abusive dad and that quite frankly makes me uncomfortable. not saying that makes him a bad character, i just personally do not like him for that reason. sometimes you just need a unlikeable bastard in a story.

that being said, he has some gashu funny moments which make me still appreciate him. tea anyone?

but hmm.. if thats too cheap an answer… i guess maybe mishima? DONT GET ME WRONG I LOVE HIM WITH ALL MY HEART!!!! but as the first victim we dont get much time to spend with him, and his design is personally not of my taste. i think mishima stans are the strongest people on this planet and us other stans are weak ants in comparison. 

although thinking about it, mishima, throughout flashbacks and his ai and whatnot, probably gets more lines than ranger, who was also only alive for half of a chapter…. maybe i am just a hypocrite. but i had to choose…

now i feel bad. sorry mishima sir heres a 30 second doodle of your head definitely still attached to your body
