Tyler’s voice is so bright in The Line. And lightweight. Maybe it’s the pitch/style, but where his usual voice typically has weight, even when he sings high, this one does not. Very interesting.

Also, Josh’s drums are white. Very rarely can i exactly give instruments a color, but they are definitely white.

To me, this only adds to his (seemingly Clancy) desire to be clean, pure, and loved in the song, even when he knows he’s experiencing anything but.

Would you believe me if I said this was my first time listening to this song? Lol. Thank you so much for requesting this, it’s a beautiful song.

This is not a 100% accurate representation of what goes on in my head, A) because of my lack of artistic capabilities and B) because this doesn’t all happen at once. Each shape and color is an individual element of the song! :) That being said, I’d say it’s pretty darn close :P

White Center - Tyler’s Voice

Long, pale yellow streak above white - First audible noise, it sounded like a flute but I may be wrong.

Deep green circles (bottom right) - drums. They’re almost hollow to me, so I tried to convey that.

Yellow (bottom left corner) - Main piano riff

Orange circles (bottom middle) - the main chords that are heard throughout the song

Purple at the top - the more electric sounding riff

White streaks (middle left) - what sounded to me like clapping. After the “how high, how high?” bit.

Deeper purple circles under main purple - there’s an added synth/bass line underneath electric riff, which is aggressively deep and kinda in-my-face lol

Red above the orange circles - during the “You’re true and pure… you hold the key” bit, the piano seems to either A) have shifted keys or B) be using accidentals (I’m not a music expert, just a music lover :P).

Darker yellow streak above light yellow streak - second flute sound, it’s different from the first because of an added sound underneath it

Yellow, almost aura like circles - the sound underneath the second flute sound

Blue/gray lines - there’s another added sound under the main sounds towards the end.. I can’t put my finger on what exactly it is tho

My name is Bilal, a son of Gaza that has suffered and continues to suffer from long years of siege and war. After 150 days of bombing and destruction, I was forced to leave my homeland and move to Egypt with some of my family members. It was a journey full of challenges, not only because of the difficult circumstances we left behind, but also because of the high costs we paid to escape the hell of war.

In Egypt, we live amidst other difficulties, where the cost of living is high and living away from home is not easy. But despite everything, our hearts are still attached to our loved ones and our family who remained in Gaza, under siege and harsh conditions.
