Tyler’s voice is so bright in The Line. And lightweight. Maybe it’s the pitch/style, but where his usual voice typically has weight, even when he sings high, this one does not. Very interesting.

Also, Josh’s drums are white. Very rarely can i exactly give instruments a color, but they are definitely white.

To me, this only adds to his (seemingly Clancy) desire to be clean, pure, and loved in the song, even when he knows he’s experiencing anything but.

I have chromestesia (a type of synesthesia). Here are what the boys’ voices look like to me:

Tyler - his singing voice is typically a complex gray, with sparkles laced throughout. It pulses with his every enunciation, and while it’ll sometimes change colors depending on the song (Good Day is dramatically orange), it always is pulsing. It’s very strong. It feels like if you hollowed out every word and then filled them with water. His voice weighs roughly 5 pounds. Not enough to be heavy, but just enough to be weighted. However, his talking voice is light blue, almost white, but definitely blue. It feels like expensive satin. It almost feels like you could hold it, if that makes sense.

Josh - his singing voice is a deep green. Like, Phthalocyanine Green G, but darker. However, even though it’s soft, it’s still so loud. His voice comes in ribbons and streaks of greens. It’s quite impressive. His voice, although not as heavy as Tyler’s, still holds its own. It feels like a beanbag chair, or one of those toys filled with the little beans. His talking voice, however, is purple. A very soft purple. About hex #b13ccf, if you wanna see it yourself. But it’s not just a solid shade of purple. His voice has highlights, like a round object that can be affected by a light source.

Each of their songs has different colors and patterns also, but that would be better as its own separate set of posts :P
