That was a shitty dream

I know these word will land on deaf ears but I'll write my thoughts down anyways so they can leave my mind.

I'm not angry my love wasn't reciprocated, you have no obligation to. It just hurts that you strung me along for a while.

I had gotten past my feeling and accepted to simply be a friend. Yet when I finally had come to this conclusion, you started being more affectionate. You wrapped yourself around my arm as we walked. You showed me things that got my hopes up even more. On the drive back, you had told me you liked me. Later that night when we were driving, I had made sure and had asked if you were serious previously. And you told me yes. You promised you were.

That single day had made abandon my previous conclusions. You had given me hope that maybe, my love would be reciprocated. Yet, afterwards, the next times we hung out you had reverted to indifference. You acted as if I was merely a pest encroaching on your life. Still, just from that single day, I had hope, unfounded incorrect hope.

I don't hate you. But you anger me. You had no reason to have lied. All you realistically did was cause problems for yourself and torment me. All you did was lead me on like a puppet on strings.

I don't care if this all sounds like the ramblings of an incel. I just want my thoughts out of my head.
