I gave him some details that i am extremely proud of and are connected to my au and his backstory i want to explore before he met Wukong

Something about the whole "Eming is born of Hua Cheng's desire to live and Rouye is born of Xie Lian's desire to die," and then how Xie Lian wears funeral colours and Hua Cheng wears wedding colours. God oriented towards death and stillness and self-denial. Ghost oriented towards life and hope and happiness.

i thought about a hc for Mac and believe me this hc came to because i was losing my head trying to figure out how macaque died while his power was literally knowing the future and past and has comprehensionment of ALL THINGS , and in the show he only said that wukong abandoned him not mentioned that he killed him according to jttw sooo the hc is...

That macaque knew that he had to help his friend wukong get rid of the headband and grant him his freedom and he knew he will have to sacrifice himself in favour of getting the celestial realm to trust wukong since I always thought that the jade emperor will take full advantage of wukong in that state and that he will need a proof that wukong is trust worthy so yeah why not put his power to action to help wukong.

THE HC IN SIMPLE WORDS IS THAT MACAQUE KNEW ABOUT THE FUTURE AND DECIDED THAT HE SACRIFICE HIMSELF FOR WUKONG AND WASN'T ANGRY AT WUKONG FOR KILLING HIM CUZ HE'S THE ONE WHO PLANNED IT AND ACCEPTED IT

You've heard of my hc that Wukong does a LOT of chew stimming, mostly via snacking, and if he doesn't have something to snack on he'll just bite whats in front of him

Now i bring you: shadowpeach with the "i wonder what i taste like" "i could help you with that" meme- except they BOTH immediately think of Wukong biting Macaque's arm, and Macaque goes as far as lifting his arm up so its in the right position to be bit because this has happened before-

Fun monkey fact:

In macaques (especially Barbary), males will often stop fights between eachother by one of them offering the wronged party an infant to hold. The wronged monkey gets so distracted by the cuteness of the baby that they forget what the fight was about.

Macaques will also bond together socially by sharing babysitting duty. The social act is considered so important that long-standing rivals will come to a truce to care for the infant.

So imagine Sun Wukong and Macaque about to fight when...

SWK: "Wait! Consider this!" *holds out MK* Macaque: "...ok he is pretty adorable." *takes MK and holds him. Starts grooming his hair.* MK, throughly confused: "What is happening??" SWK, smugly: "Monkey instincts. You're doing great bud." *some time passes* SWK: "...ok, can I have my successor back now?" Macaque: *hisses and holds MK closer* SWK: "Aww come on! You've been holding him all day! It's my turn!" MK: *has fallen asleep by now*

Just the two playing on eachothers instincts as a battle strategy and failing terribly.

For those that still wait for my Macaque reference. I am at finishing line with ONE-

Bc my stupid adhd ass decided that no, only one reference is not enough

So i will make three and a very small one for something else

Which will count Macaque Real appearance in my hc (almost finished this one)

Plus a very small look i decided to use for his Smokey monster and his shadow clones

You can clearly see who my favorite is-

Since he will the one i draw the most i just decided to make him a reference so i can know what ,how and why.

Anywho- when i finish his first ref i will post it and then the Bai He and Macaque page

I don’t know why such a small amount if people while drawing Monkey MK don’t draw him three tails-

I know he has one throughout all season while glitching and then when fully in monkey mode he still has one but his “kajiu” form has three and it kinda knocks me out how i don’t see any ppl drawing him with three tails.

I know the big forms don’t have many to do with their usual appearances

With Wukong in big form having six arms and three faces while Macaque still lacks his six ears but for the letter i have explaination which i will make when i finish his reference that i will use. For Wukong i have no idea.

But with MK i kinda want to see him with three tails, something unique to him like Macaque six ears.

And the idea of his tails just doing god knows what so MK has to wrap them around each other is kinda fun to imagine

So I was browsing Insta what I noticed this.

And has anyone else ever noticed that Macaque is almost ALWAYS smiling?

Especially when its obvious he's nervous? Just a thought.
