"So this is Dwarves' Mine.. It used to be prosperous thanks to magic crystal mining but.." Deuce spoke as he looked around, the area around them looked gloomy.

Grim shivered at the coldness, "Feels like something could jump out.."

Ace looks around, "Oh hey, theres a house back there. Let's go ask them about the mine." He suggests.

The group made it's way to the house and welcomed themselves inside. "I guess it's abandoned.. It's a mess in here.." Deuce whispers.

As they stepped in the house, a spider web stuck on Grim's face. He hurriedly tried to remove it from his face. "Pwah! I got a spider web on my face.. peh!!"

"Hey, the tables and chairs looks a bit too small.." Ace pointed to the corner where a table and seven chairs were. "Are they for kids? .. One.. Two.. There's seven of them! That's a lot for a small house..."

"This was probably a lively home when Dwarves' Mines flourished." Deuce spoke as he kept taking a look around.

"They did what they had to do. After all, magic crystals are found inside coal." Deuce hummed at Ace's words. "Let's go check out the mines." The group walked out of the house and went to the entrance of the mines.

"W-were going in that pitch black hole..?" Grim sweatdropped as he stared at the cave.

"What's wrong, Grim? You scared?" You teased as Ace put a hand on your shoulder.

"Yeah, That's lame, Cat." Ace teased and mocked Grim.

"Haah? I'm not scared at all!" Grim grumbled, "And I am NOT A CAT! I'm taking the lead, you guys follow me!"

You shrug before the group follows Grim, a few minutes in you could see the pretty rocks hanging on the walls of the cave. Before you guys could continue Deuce warns, "Wait!" Ace looked back at Deuce with a bothered face.

"What?" Ace irked as he put his hands on his waist.

Deuce paused to confirm something, you could also feel something. "There's something.. Ahead of us." You continue Deuce's warning. Grim flinched and before you knew it, there was ghosts in front of you.

The ghosts giggled, "Our first visitors in ten years!"

"Make yourselves at home. For eternity!"

"This place is haunted with ghosts too!" Ace groaned.

"We don't have time to deal with them one by one. Let's go!" Deuce said.

"Don't think you can order me around." Ace fussed, "If you haven't done something so idiotic, we wouldn't be here."

Deuce's eye twitched as he looked at Ace, "You wanna talk about who started it? It's cause you wouldn't clean!"

"It's when that furball burned the Queen of Hearts' statue!" Ace pointed at Grim accusedly.

"That's what you get for making a fool out of me!" Grim defended himself.

"All of you! Shut up, there's no point in arguing." You scolded as you rubbed your temples, you could feel a headache coming in.

"Y/n's right. Do you guys even understand our situation right now? We're all expelled if we don't get back with a magic crystal by the morning!" Deuce scolded them, Yuuken was just there chilling beside you. You two can't even get expelled because you weren't even students.

"So stop patronizing me. It's really ticking me off." Ace complained as he glared at Deuce.

"Settle down, you three." Yuuken voiced.

All of a sudden, the group heard a weird, distorted voice from a distance.

"Wh.. What's that voice.." Ace stuttered.

"Stone....ss... Mine..." It said.

"I think.. it's getting closer.." Deuce whispered.

"Stone... IS MIINEE!!!" The monster revealed itself from the shadows, it had an cracked ink bottle as a head and it was wearing a red uniform.

"IT'S HERE!!" The three shrieked, the group ran away from the monster, holding eachothers' hands.

"What was that?!" Deuce yelled.

"Crowley didn't say anyhing about that!! Let's get outta here!!" Grim shrieked. This entire situation didn't help your headache and you groaned in annoyance.

"It's nasty!! But didn't it mention a stone?!" Ace pointed out. Grim looked at Ace in confusion.

"St..one.. won't.. give!!" The monster spoke out as it was approaching them. The group flinched as it spoke.

"So there really are magic crystals left!" Deuce noted the monster's words.

"I'm a genius!! But I can't beat that thing!" Grim started to shiver.

Deuce paused to think, "But we'll be expelled without it.. Im going!" You flinch as he approached the monster.

"Wait!" You followed Deuce.

Ace shrieked, "You've gotta be kidding!"

"I cannot, any under circumstances, be expelled!" He yelled to the the group.

The monster began shouting, "Leave!! Leave!!! Leave!!!!!" It then swung it's pickaxe to Deuce causing him to get hit, you catched him before he could hit the ground.

Ace then stood in front of you two, "Stand back, if you have no control, Mr. Serious! I'll stop it! Haa!!" Ace then casted a spell at the monster.

"It hurts.." Deuce groaned in pain as his placed his hand on his head.

"May the vestiges of pain that linger within the person before me be eliminated. I am the one they call Y/N... Hear my command!" You cited an incantation to Deuce, to remove his pain.

The spell that Ace casted just angered the monster more, and swung his weapon to Ace, causing Ace to fall down on his butt.

"Aaagh! Stay away!" Grim shrieked as he breathed fire towards the monster, but alas, it only angered the monster further.

"It's not working at all! Y/N, c-could you do the spell that you did before?." Grim pleaded as he retreated.

"I'm too tired, Grim.." You sighed, "I can't."

"Did something just sparkle..?" Yuuken spoke.

You, Deuce and Ace stood up. "Behind the monster..! At the end of the tunnel, something.."

"That light.." Deuce narrowed his eyes before it lit up in surprise. "Is that a magic crystal..?"

The monster growled, "WONT GIVE!!"

"We're done for at this rate!! Let's go!" Grim trembled.

"We need to escape you three!" Yuuken spoke as he grabbed Y/N's wrist and ran, Ace and Deuce followed behind.

"Is this far enough..?" Grim panted.

"Oww..! What in the world was that.? Noone said anything about that!" Ace whined as he scratched the back of his head.

"It didn't seem like any old ghost.." Deuce murmured.

"Let's give up and go home, I'd rather get expelled than fight that thing." Ace suggested.

Deuce's face changed into a serious one. "What?! You can't be serious. I'd rather die than face expulsion." He addressed. "There's a magic crystal in front of us and YOU wanna to home."

Ace scoffed, "You talk big for someone worse at magic than me. Go alone if you wanna, I'm done."

"Ooh, that right? Then stay right there cowering like a fucking spineless coward!" Deuce yelled.

'Holy shit.' Your mouth was slightly open by shock, who knew Deuce could be so mean?

"Haah? Coward? Who exactly are you talking about?" Ace mocked Deuce with a smirk on his face.

"D-Deuce.. Did you switch up your character..?" Grim asked with a scared look on his face.

Deuce then awkwardly coughed, "My bad..! I lost my composure a bit."

"Can magic even help us at all..?" Yuuken sighed with a pout.

You pursed your lips, you knew if you casted one more spell you're gonna pass out from casting too much spells. (Ahem.. Summoning the brothers.) "I can help, but.. I can only do one spell and that's it." You look at Yuuken, crossing your arms.

"And our magic.. Well, like the headmaster said earlier, Magic isn't all-powerful." Deuce pursed his lips before continuing, "If you can't imagine it, then it wont materialize. Large-scale or complicated magic requires a lot of training to use."

"That's why we have schools for magic." Ace continued. "You have to practice a lot to use magic just as it comes to mind. Bluntly, if you lose your cool, you screw up."

You hummed at their explanation, "Everyone has just been using it willy-nilly then." Yuuken chuckled, trying to bring the mood up.

"Stuff your good at you can go off instict." Ace explained further.

"At any rate, I'm going back in there. I'll figure out how to beat that thing and come back with a magic crystal." Deuce spoke determinedly, his eyes going back to the cave.

"However, judging by the chandelier incident, you're a complete idiot." Ace mocked. "You couldn't land a single hit earlier but now you'll figure it out? It's going to end the same."

"Come again?! You think of.."

"Here they go again.." Grim rolled his eyes.

"Will you two knock it off!" Yuuken shouted, making everyone flinch, including you.

"Waah. Why're you shouting all of a sudden?" Grim looks at Yuuken with surprise.

"Neither of you could do anything back there, and Y/N saved you from a concussion." He points to Deuce who was now blushing in embarrassment.

"But.. What exactly should we do..?" Deuce asked.

"We have to come up with a plan. A proper one." Yuuken suggested as he crossed his arms, looking at the group with a serious gaze.

"Strategy? You mean get along and work together? Ha! That's cold. You have no problem saying lame things with a serious face, huh." Ace sighed.

"Agreed. No way I'm working with this loser." Deuce crossed his arms.

"It's way lamer to get expelled on the FIRST day of school.." Grim muttered, catching the attention of the two boys that kept bickering.

"Uuh.. That's.." Ace flinched at the thought of getting expelled at the first day of school.

Deuce flinched too, but didn't say anthing.

"I do have one idea, but.." Yuuken looked at your tired state.

"I can handle it." You said firmly.

"Haah.. Fine! We just have to get it done, right!" Ace gave in as Deuce agreed with him. "So, what's your plan?"

"We just have to accept our fate." Yuuken shrugged.

Ace laughed at Grim, "Hey, you're too stiff. Just go with the flow. Let's get this over with!"

"This is.." You look at the building by from the gate, dead trees were almost everywhere, you could see cobweb build up on the corner of the gate.

"This is too much charm." Yuuken said, trying to look at the bright side, hey, atleast you guys don't have to sleep on the streets right?

Crowley smiled as he opened the gate, "Right, right. Please come inside." He holds the gate open for you two to go in. You stepped inside and shivered.

Crowley closes the gate and escorts you to the building.

As soon as you guys opened the door, you were immediately greeted by cobwebs, spiders and dust. You cover your mouth and nose with your hand.

"Staying here will atleast keep you out of the rain." He reassures, "I'm going back to do more research, make yourselves at home. Oh also, don't go wandering around the school!! Goodbye!" He said before he steps out of the building.

"The dust looks like snow.." You state as you removed your hand from your face. After a few seconds, rain started to pour down.

"It's raining.." You step closer to the window, Yuuken turned to open the lights, when all of a sudden you heard a noise.

"Hyii!! It's really coming down!" You flinch at the sound of Grim's voice.

"Hahaha!! You've got this stupid look on your face like a spider being attacked by a water gun!" Grim exclaimed as you roll your eyes. "I'll have no trouble sneaking back to school. Come on, come on."

"How'd you even.. Nevermind." You scoff.

"If you think getting thrown out is gonna make me give up on getting in, you've got another thing coming!" Grim said, with pride and arrogance.

"Why do you even want to go into this school?" Yuuken asked with his head tilted.

"That's simple! I'm a genius who is destined to be a great magician!" Grim then talks about how he's been waiting for an ebony carriage and how the mirror doesn't clearly have an eye for great magicians.

"Talk about delusions.." You mumbled as Grim kept yapping.

"Nyaah! So cold! The roof is leaking!" Grim shivered as water came in contact with his fur. "Fgyaa! It just keeos coming! At this rate my ear fire is gonna go out!"

"Magic should fix this up quickly.." Grim suggested, causing Yuuken to look at you.

"Why're you looking at me?" You flinch at Yuuken's stare.

"You have magic, can't you fix that?" Yuuken points to the ceiling that kept dripping. You chuckled in response.

"As much as I want to help, I don't have a spell for that." You shook your head.

"Pfft!! You're useless!" Grim snickered, you shot him a quick glare which made him stop immediately.

"If i'm so useless, why don't YOU help." You shot back.

"No waaay! I'm just a regular monster staying in a rainy place." Grim stuck his tongue out at you. "And besides, my services don't come for free. You better get a can of tuna before I do any of your bidding!"

Yuuken sighed, "Let's just go find buckets." He then walked away to find buckets. You glare at Grim before you catch up to Yuuken.

"I don't like this feeling.." Yuuken murmured, you place a hand on his shoulder as a way to comfort him, but before you knew it, 3 ghosts appeared right in front of you.

The ghosts giggled, and one of them spoke up. "We haven't have had guests in so long.."

"I'm itching for action."

Yuuken shivered at their giggling before he held his ground, your grip on his shoulder tightened slightly as a way to ease him.

"Are my eyes deceiving me, Y/N?" Yuuken asked as you shook your head no.

Grim walked in, "What's taking you guys so lo— AAHH! Ghosts!!"

"The people that were living here got so scared, they left." The smaller ghost said.

"We've been looking for more ghost buddies, what about you guys?" The bigger one said.

Grim shivered, "Grim the GREAT Magician isn't scared of some ghosts!!" He then aims his fire towards the skinny ghost.

"Where were you aiming?" The skinny ghost taunted.

"Over here, heeheehee!" The bigger ghost mocked Grim as Grim tried to aim his fire at them.

"Stop disappearing!" Grim grumbled.

You observe the scene with a disappointed yet interested look, "Are you closing your eyes when you breathe fire?"

"Shut up! Don't try to give me orders!" Grim scolded as he kept trying to take the ghosts down.

"I'll give you a can of tuna if you win." You bribed with a smirk

"Wah?! Mmhmhm.. I-I'm a genius. I won't let one—"

"Myeheeheehee!" The ghosts interrupted with a laugh.

"Bunch of cowards ganging up on us!"

"On your left, Grim!" Yuuken warned as Grim shot his fire to his left.

This continued for a few more minutes until..

"Alright. I've had my fun, but this is seriously pissing me off." You irked, before taking a deep breathe. "I bind thee and rob thee of thy freedom." Your eyes landed on the ghosts, as soon as you casted the curse, you immediately felt tired.

"HEEEE! What have you done?!" The skinny ghost exclaimed, trying to break free of your curse.

"Can't move? Yeah, that's what that curse does." You chuckled tiredly, "We haven't done anything wrong, well except for Grim trying to shoot fires at you.. But oh well, I want you to go away." You give a not-so-innocent smile at the ghosts which causes then to shiver and nod.

"Let the curse that binds is be undone." You undo the curse, you shoot out one last death stare before the ghosts ran.

"Run!!" The ghost said and vanished.

"Are you serious!! You could've done that from the start!" Grim said grumpily, you stick your tongue out at him and shrug.

"Good evening." A familiar voice interrupts, you and Yuuken turn to the source of the voice and see that Crowley is holding food. "I have graciously brought you supper."

Crowley then looked at Grim behind you two, "You! You're the monster that ran amuck during the entrance ceremony! I threw you out of the school, what are you doing here!?"

"Hmph, I exterminated the ghost problem! Be grateful!" Grim crosses his arms as your neck snapped towards Grim, It took credit for what you've done.

"YOU?! That was ME!" You scolded Grim, he rolled his eyes in return.

"Nn? What do you guys mean by that?"

"Now that you mention that, there were some prankster ghosts living here so students keep away." Crowley put his finger on his chin. "And that's why its now empty. I'd forgotten that. However.. Hm.."

"For you three to work together to get rid of them." He said in a peculiar way, like it was a rare occurrence.

"I'm not gonna overlook that 'together' comment." Grim crosses his arms once again. "They were just staring at me watching! Until that weird shorter man interrupted. I only did this for a can of tuna."

"Me? A man?" You look at Grim strangely, before realizing you had your hood on this entire time. You put down the hood of your robes to reveal your long/short h/c hair, and your pretty face.

"Kya! You're a WOMAN!" Grim pointed at you in an accusing way as Crowley stood there in shock.

"Was it not.. Obvious by my voice?" You pursed your lips as you crossed your arms.

"And I haven't gotten my TUNA yet!!" Grim grumbled, "SCAMMER!"

"This day can't get anymore surprising." Crowley sighed before staring at the three of you seriously, "I'd like to see how you two exterminated those ghosts. Without Y/N's intervention."

You and Yuuken flinched, "So.. I'm gonna work with.. Grim?" Yuuken sighed.

"But we already got rid of them! Before that: Give me my TUNA!" Grim outbursts.

"I shall be the ghosts." He offered, "If you beat me, I'll give you tuna CANS. For I am gracious!" and then he grabbed a transformation potion out of his pocket and gulped it down.

You stared at him in concern and then observed, he turned into a ghost with a crow mask and a hat.

"Eeeh.. I don't wanna. This is a pain and I have to team up with Yuuken again.." Grim slacked.

"This might be a chance to get into school!" Yuuken gleamed as he shot Grim a smile.

"Ugh. This is the LAST time! You absolutely, absolutely have to give me tuna!!" Grim said as he hopped on Yuuken's shoulder.

You stood aside and observed the scene, Crowley was taunting them by disappearing and appearing in opposite directions, and Grim slowly got frustrated but he kept fighting. Yuuken was.. well, he gave directions to Grim. His leadership skills aren't that bad.

The trial fight ended with Grim panting and Crowley defeated, you gave two claps before going back to Yuuken's side. "Heeh.. Hah.. How about that!" Grim's pride never fails to falter, even when exhausted.

"I can't believe.. There's a person who can command monsters." Crowley spoke. "Hmm.. Actually, my teacher senses were telling me since the uproar during the ceremony that you have a talent as an animal or wild beast trainer."

"Teacher-senses..?" You and Yuuken mumbled at the same time which caused you two to look at eachother.

"However.. no matter how.." Crowley then began to mutter to himself which caused you two to look at him like he's insane.

Yuuken shook off the feeling and asked, "Could it be possible if Grim could stay here with us?" You looked at Yuuken and sighed, and then you looked away.

"What now? A monster?" Crowley and Grim looked at Yuuken.

"You.." Grim mumbled.

"Please." Yuuken pleaded, you on the other hand, didn't really mind Grim's presence. Just as long as he wouldn't take credit and throw more tantrums.

"..Huh. It can't be helped. Alright." Crowley nodded at Yuuken with a serious face.

"Huh?! Really?!" Grim spoke enthusiastically, his eyes practically gleamed.

"However, I can't simply allow someone, let alone a monster, into a school who wasn't selected by the Dark Mirror." Crowley then looked at you and Yuuken. "Also, I can't let you be a freeloader here until you return to your own worlds."

Grim's face then became sad, "Well, talk about short-lived joy." He pouted.

"Listen until the end." Crowley scolded, "Concerning the fact that your souls were called here, the school has to take responsibility as the owners of the Dark Mirror. For the time being, you'll be permitted to stay in this dormitory for free."

Yuuken sighed in relief as you just smiled slightly, "BUT, Other necessities you will have to provide for yourself." Crowley said before reaching into his pockets for his hands to rest. "Seeing as you have nothing to your name.. Fufu, here is my proposition."

'I should've seen that coming.' You sigh, listening to Crowley.

"What exactly do you want us to do..?" Yuuken asked, fidgeting with his fingers.

Crowley smiled, "No need to fret." He took his hand out from his pocket, wiggled his index finger side ways before putting his hands behind his back. "I'll have you do maintenance and odd jobs around campus."

"From what I see, you're pretty decent at cleaning." You gulp at Crowley's words as you remember your room back then in the devildom. Your grimoire was sitting on your desk with a few jewelry unorganzied and stationary all over the table. "Would you three like to become the handymen of the school?" Crowley offered.

"This way, you will receive special permission to remain on school grounds." He smiled. "You will also be able to research going home or study whatever you desire in the library. For I am gracious!"

You opened your mouth to talk, but Crowley interrupted. "HOWEVER! Only after your work is done."

Grim grumbled, "Eeeh?! I'm not okay with that! I wanna wear that fancy uniform and be a student!"

You could tell Crowley's patience was running thin, "That's fine, I'll just simply throw you out again." Grim flinched at Crowley's threat and surrendered.

"I get it! I just have to do it. Just do it!" Grim fussed.

You look at Yuuken with a nod and he looked back at you before turning to Crowley, "Understood."

"Wonderful. Then, you three will start tomorrow, endeavor to be the best handyman at Night Raven College!" He smiled.

"Good morning, you three. Did you sleep well?" Crowley greeted as he barged into the room. You got up from your bed, still feeling sleepy. You were wearing pajamas that Crowley lent (He also gave some spare clothing he didn't wear to Yuuken and literally had to buy you clothes), and then.. Grim looked grumpy as always.

"I was sprawled out then I fell out the bottom! Just how ramshackle did you let this place get?" Grim complained, "And then the ghosts woke me up, this is the worst!"

"I slept like a rock." Yuuken rubbed his eyes.

Crowley chirped, "Even though you just got tossed over from different worlds you can still be cheeky! Wonderful!" Crowley then paused to observe the place and coughed, "I came to speak to you about your work for today."

You groaned at the word 'Work', and grabbed your clothes to change elsewhere.

After changing, you went downstairs to discuss things with Crowley. "Today, you are to clean the campus. But the campus is quite large. Cleaning it all without magic would be impossible." He paused, "So, I'd like you to clean main street from the main gate to the library. Understood? Oh and also, watch Grim closely so he doesn't cause a scene like yesterday."

Yuuken nods, "I understand." he flashes a smile.

"I'm counting on you. You have permission to have lunch in the school cafeteria." He informs, "Take care of your work enthusiastically." Crowley then walked out of then building.

"Tsk.. No way I'm doing any cleaning." Grim rolled his eyes. "I wanna go to class and.. bang! boom boom! Use a bunch of awesome spells.."

"We can go study in the library. For now, let's go to the main gate.". Yuuken said, Grim just muttered to himself grumpily.

"Uh, you guys go ahead. I forgot something. I'll catch up." You smiled at them, Grim hopped on Yuuken's shoulder and they walked away and out of the building.

You look around to check if you were really alone, and you were. You guessed that you might've scared away the ghosts due to you casting a curse on then, you took a deep breathe and closed your eyes, before saying out the incantation.

"Hear me, Denizens of darkness," A large pentagram of light started to draw beneath your feet. "you who are born of shadow and you who give birth to it. Hear me and do as I command! I, Y/N, call upon you to send forth one of your number! I summon the Avatar of Greed, Mammon!"

The light suddenly stopped. You opened your left eye, only to be greeted with nothing. No sign of Mammon anywhere. "What..?" You mumble to yourself.

"This can't be.. No."

. BACK IN THE DEVILDON .

Mammon felt it. Mammon felt that you tried to summon him. He told Lucifer.

"I swear to ya! I felt her trying to reach out!" Mammon explained frantically, he was basically running in circles.

"So, why haven't you gone?" Lucifer asks in curiosity, he knew Mammon would've gone in a heartbeat, he knew he was willing to risk his life for her.

"Because I can't!" Mammon yelled, making Lucifer pause, then, Lucifer felt something. It was her, trying to summon him.

"She's trying to summon me too." Lucifer muttered, he looks at Mammon and told him, "You have to tell the others. I'm going to Diavolo."

Lucifer then stood up to take his coat from the coat rack as Mammon sped out of Lucifer's room.

You've tried them all, multiple times. They should've heard you by now. You sat there for an hour. Your pact marks were still there so why weren't they answering? You stopped trying, you figured since it was a different world they can't be summoned.

You suddenly felt something off. You hurried to go to the mirror chambers.

"Aaaagh.. Why'd it turn into something like this? Today isn't really my day.." A guy said, he had a red heart shaped mark on his left eye.

"Now isn't the time for mumbling, let's go!" Another voice spoke, this time it was a guy with a black shaped spade mark on his right eye.

"What're you guys doing?" You spoke out, causing the two of them to flinch and look at you. Yuuken's eyes gleamed as he looked at you.

"Y/n! Join us, please.." Yuuken pleaded. You raised an eyebrow and Yuuken sighed. "These idiots broke a chandelier and now we have to replace it.." He pouted, the two guys behind him irked at the word 'idiots'.

You sighed and nodded, stepping forward to the mirror with them.

"I'm Deuce.. and He's Ace." The blue haired guy spoke, you gave them a smile before he blushed slightly and turned his back to you.

"Are we not gonna address the fact that there's a girl here." Ace bluntly spoke, earning an eyeroll from the group.

"Mirror, mirror on the wall. Light our way to the Dwarves' Mine!"

You smelt smoke when you first woke up, then you felt your surroundings, you were in a cramped space.

You try to bang open in whatever container you were in and suddenly the lid popped open.

"Mya!! This one's awake too!!" You saw a cat with fire coming out of it's ears before you stepped out.

"What in the.. I was in a coffin..?" You looked back at the coffin before looking at the cat again. "A talking cat?" You rubbed your eyes before realized that you weren't in your uniform. Instead you were in robes with the hood covering your head and it's shadows concealed your face.

"How dare you!! You were just as bad as the other guy! I am no weasel, I'm GRIM! Sorcerer extraordinaire!" It bragged as it put his hands on its.. waist? Making it look like it was scolding you. "Tch, just give me your uniform! The other guy disappeared from my sight."

"It's.. too big for you. And what're you even gonna do if I don't?" You chuckled.

Grim then shot fire right next to you before you ran out of instinct. "Hey!! Get back here!"

You kept running before you bumped into a muscular guy in the library. "Are you alright?" He said, turning to face you.

"I'm being chased by a fucking cat with fire powers." You pant in exhaustion, before fire was shot right next to the both of you.

"Foolish human! Did you REALLY think that you could slip away from ME?" The cat cockily spoke. "Now, unless you wanna get burned into a crisp, take off that—"

Grim then gets trapped by a whip that wrapped around him, cutting him off mid-sentence. "Me-YEOOW! That hurt! What gives?!"

"Consider it tough love." A man with a bird mask spoke sternly, "Ah, I've found the two of you at last. Splendid. I trust you're one of this year's new students?"

You look at the guy beside you, he was wearing the same robes as you.

"My, were you two ever eager to make your debut." He crosses his arms as he continued to speak, "And bringing a poorly trained familiar with you? That's a clear violation of the school rules."

You scoff as rolled your eyes at him, your jaw tightened, before you could speak Grim cut you off, "As if I'd serve some lowly HUMANS! Lemme go!!" He struggled.

"Yes, yes. Rebellious familiars always say that. Do be quiet for a while, will you?" The bird man put a mouth cover on Grim. "Dear me, of all the student's that I have dealt with, you two the first with temerity enough to open their own gate and step out of it. Does the very notion of patience elude you?"

The man beside you just smiled, it wasn't genuine but you could see he was just trying to get through the night.

"No matter. Your orientation has already begun. Let us return to the mirror chamber." The bird man turns around.

"Mirror..?" The guy next to you questioned.

"You awakened in a room full of gates, did you not?" He turned to look at the guy next to you. "All of the students here at campus arrived by passing through such gates."

'I was kidnapped, I didn't step in with my consent.' You thought before sighing.

"Although, typically the students have the patience to wait until I open the gates before waking up." The bird man crosses his arms.

The man beside you tilted his head in curiosity, "So those coffins are like gateways?"

"The design is intended to symbolize a parting with your former world, and a rebirth into a new one." The bird man then looked at the clock on the library wall, "But now is not the time for such prattle. You have a student orientation to attend! Go on, now. Make haste."

"First, just tell me one thing: Where are we?" You spoke.

"Hm? Have you not regained full consciousness?" The bird man looks at you with an interested look. "The teleportation must've left you disoriented.."

The bird man just sighed, "Well, these things happen, I suppose. I shall give you an explanation as we make our way there. For I am gracious."

'Gracious my ass.' You irked in your thoughts, before you and the group make your way to the courtyard.

The bird man coughed before speaking, "This is Night Raven College. Those magicians blessed with a unique aptitude for magic gather from all over the world, here at the most prestigious magical academy in Twisted Wonderland." He explains as you guys walked.

"And I am the headmaster, appointed to take care of this academy by the board chairman, Dire Crowley."

"Magic?" The guy next to you asked, this piqued your interest, because it seemed like he had no idea that magic was real.

"Only those magicians seen as worthy by the Dark Mirror can attend this school. Chosen ones use the gate and are summoned here from around the world." Crowley said.

"An Ebony Carriage carrying a gate should have gone to meet you as well." He looks over to the both of you.

"So that's what the carriage was for.." You mumble to yourself.

"I think I remember a horse with a terrifying face." The guy shivered as he remembered.

"The Ebony Carriage goes to welcome new students chosen by the Dark Mirror. They are special carriages that carry the doors to the academy." Crowley explained. He then put his hand on his waist before speaking again.

"The market decided long ago that carriages are used to welcome people on special days."

"So you're saying the carriage just brought us here on its own?" You ask Crowley, as you crossed your arms. Grim butted in but was still struggling to speak.

"Come, let's go to the student orientation." Crowley spoke, completely dodging your question.

...

"Is that all for the new student dorm assignments?" A red haired boy asked as he looked around, then he turned back to the students that were assigned to his dorm. "Listen up, new students. Here in Heartslabyul, I am the rules. Break them and it's off with your head."

A man with lion ears yawned as he cracked his knuckles, "The stuffy ceremony is finally over. We're going back to the dorm. Savanaclaws, follow me."

"To the new students," A boy with glasses spoke out. "Congratulations on entering this academy. Enjoy your life here to it's fullest." He gave out an un-genuine smile. "As the Dormitory Leader of Octavinelle, I will support you to the best of my abilities."

"By the way," A beautiful man spoke out, catching the attention of his fellow prefects. "Where did the headmaster go? He flew out right in the middle of the ceremony." He placed his hand on his waist.

"Abandoning his post.." A voice flew out of the floating tablet.

"Did he get a stomachache or something?" A boy with red eyes tilted his head.

Then the door bursted open, revealing Crowley and two other students. "Not at all!" Crowley spoke.

"Oh, he's here." The red-haired boy said.

Crowley then placed both of his hands on his hips. "I cannot believe you all. We were missing two new students, so I went to find them."

"Well, you two are the only ones that has yet to be assigned a dormitory. I shall watch over the cat, step in front of the Dark Mirror." He looks over to you and the guy next to you as Grim continued to struggle.

"State thy name." The mirror said as the guy you were with stepped up.

"Yuuken Enma.." He spoke

"The shape of thy soul is..." The mirror pauses, "I do not know."

"Come again?" Crowley looked at the mirror.

"I sense not a spark of magic from this one.. The color, the shape, all are nothing. Therefore, they are suited for no dormitory." It clarifies. The whispers in the mirror chamber broke free.

Crowley cleared his throat before he let you step up and letting Yuuken step down to stand beside him.

"State thy name." The dark mirror spoke.

"Y/N L/N" You said.

"The shape of thy soul is..." The mirror paused. "Unique. Seven voices etched into your core. Loud and Ancient. You have magic. But it's not from here.. No dormitory would be fit for you." The whispers in the chamber intensified.

"An Ebony Carriage would absolutely never go to meet someone who can't use magic, and someone who isn't fit to be in any dormitory!" Crowley protested, "In 100 years, there has not once been a mistake in Student Selection. So why in the world.."

Grim then tried to break free from the mouth cover and Crowleys whip, which was successful. "Then I'LL take their place!"

Crowley flinched before yelling, "Stay right there, CAT!"

"Unlike that dumb human who can't use magic, and the other who isn't even fit to be in any dormitory, I am a perfect fit surely! Let me be in the school instead!!" Grim scowled. "If you need proof, I'll show you right now!!"

"Everyone, get down!" The red-haired boy yelled as Grim started to throw flames everywhere.

"AHH!! HOTTT!! My butt's on fire!!!" The boy with red eyes panicked.

"At this rate, the school will be a sea of fire! Somebody catch that cat!" Crowley ordered.

"Tsk, Suck ups." The man with lion ears rolled his eyes, as the beautiful man looked over at him.

"Hah? Aren't you good at hunting? Doesn't it look like a nice, plump snack? Why don't you go fetch it?" He mocked the lion-eared man with an arrogant tone.

"Why me? Do it yourself." The lion-eared man groaned.

"Mr. Crowley, please." The boy with the glasses spoke, "Leave it to me." He says with a smile. "I'm sure the others cant stomach harassing a poor creature, so I will take it upon myself."

The voice from the tablet chuckled, "That's Azul for you. Always trying to earn himself points."

"Hey! Could someone put out the fire on my butt already?!"

"Are you all even listening?!"

"If it's just catching some stupid cat, can't you do it yourself, Teach."

"How many times do I have to tell you, I'm not a cat!"

All hell fire broke loose in the chambers, you could barely hear yourself think, you immediately cast a magic that Solomon taught you, a fire extinguishing one, to the red-eyed boy's butt.

"Thank you!!" He cried out as he looked at you, you nodded as response.

"The great grim that will become the greatest magician ever is ME!!" Grim arrogantly smirked.

"It certainly has a moxie. Care to help me, Riddle?" Azul looked over to the red-haired boy, who you now identified as Riddle.

"I can't overlook those who break rules. Let's hurry and get this over with." Riddle stated.

...

"Off with your head!" Riddle yelled as a collar appeared around Grim's neck.

"Gahh!! What is this!!" Grim tries to break free from the collar.

"Laws of the Queen of Hearts: Number 23, "One shall never bring a cat into a festival." You being a cat means you've broken the rule. I shall have you leave at once." Riddle informs Grim.

"I'm not a cat!!" Grim then smirks, "I'll just burn this collar right up and.." He pauses.

"E-eh? I can't use my fire!!" He sweatdropped as he looks back at Riddle.

Riddle smirks, "Hmph! You wont be using any magic until I remove the collar. Just like an ordinary cat."

"Wh-WHAT!? I'm not some housepet!!" Grim protested.

"Oh, don't worry, I'd never keep a pet like you." Riddle's expression changes into a serious one. "I'll take it off anyway when you get thrown out."

"Wow, as wonderful as ever. Any and all magic gets sealed by your unique magic, Riddle." Azul respected. "I want it..." He mumbled to himself, but you heard him anyway because you were close to him. "No, I wouldn't ever want that cast on me." He smiled.

Azul then takes a quick glance at you, he senses your magic. His eyes narrowed before taking his eyes off of you.

"You must do something about this! It is your familiar!!" Crowley turns to look at you and Yuuken.

"Proper discip—"

"It's not ours." Yuuken interrupted with a spiteful tone.

"Oh.. It's not yours. Or his..??" Crowley pursed his lips.

"Come on! Even it told you that." You groaned as you ran your hand across your hair beneath your hood.

Crowley fake coughed, "Anyway, let's get it out of the school at any rate. We wont turn it into a stew, for I am gracious. Someone please help."

'What the fuck? Stew?' Your face contorted into a disgusted one, before you brushed it off.

"Gyaa!! Lemme go!!!" Grim struggled as he was dragged. "I'm going to become the greatest magician!!" He yelled out before being dragged out.

"I wonder why he was so desperate." Yuuken mumbled, you hummed in response.

"We had a bit of trouble along the way but this brings the entrance ceremony to a close." Crowley turned to the students, "Dormitory heads, please escort the new students back to their respective dormitories."

Crowley then looked around before speaking, "Now that I think about it, I don't see the Dorm leader for Diasomnia, Mr. Draconia, around at all.."

"That's no different from usual, is it?" The lion-eared guy spoke.

"What? Did noone tell him about the ceremony?" The red-eyed boy spoke

The beautiful man rolled his eyes before speaking, "If you're gonna complain about it, you should've done it yourself."

"But I don't really know anything about that guy.." The red-eyed boy pouted as he crossed his arms.

The whispers in the chamber resumed as they heard the last name of the dorm leader.

"By draconia.. Do they mean THAT Malleus Draconia..?"

"Is he seriously attending this school?"

"Scary..!"

"Ah, just I'd expected." A boy with a deep voice spoke out. "I figured I'd come down here and see for myself whether Malleus made an appearance, but once again, he was evidently not informed that his presence was required at an official ceremony."

"You have my sincerest apology. I promise, that was not our intention." Azul apologized, his hands clasped together.

Riddle then spoke, "His aura does make it rather... hard for us to approach him."

The boy sighed, "It's fine. Members of Diasomnia can come with me. I just hope this doesn't upset him.."

The students went on ahead to follow their dorm leaders to their dorms, it took a good while for the room to clear out.

"Well then, Yuuken, Y/N, I'm terribly sorry about this but.." Crowley paused.

"But we're not allowed to attend this school? Gee I wonder why." You interrupt with a ungenuine smile.

"Correct, and we also must have you leave the school." Crowley spoke and then continued, "Those without any talent for magic cannot attend class here, and you, Y/N, aren't fit to be in this school."

You and Yuuken sighed.

"There is no need to worry, the Dark Mirror will send you directly back from whence you came." Crowley informed, this took your attention, because well, it was a long day, and all you wanted to do was sleep in your comfortable bed. The brothers are probably worried sick for you.

"Enter the gate, and picture your home clearly in your mind." He opens two coffins and the two of you stepped in.

"Oh, Dark Mirror! Guide these two back to the place they belong!" He chanted. The Dark Mirror didnt respond.

"Hm.. Once more. Oh, Dark Mirror! Guide this—"

"It is nowhere."

Crowley flinches at it's words.

"The place they belong is nowhere in this world." The Dark Mirror stated. "It does not exist."

'No..' You panicked in your mind.

"What did you say? That is unbelievable! Hmm, well, the unbelievable has been on parade today." Crowley sighed.

The Dark Mirror stayed silent.

"This is the first time it's ever happened since I became headmaster, what should be... Where exactly did you two come from..?"

You and Yuuken stepped out of the coffin, and looked at eachother.

"I'm from Tokyo." He spoke, Crowley raised an eyebrow.

"How about you, Y/N?" Crowley turned to look at you.

You hesitated to tell, you clenched your hand before you sighed. "I'm from the Devildom." You purse your lips.

Yuuken looked at you, "Devil..dom? What an odd name." he hummed.

"I have not heard of a place such as.. Tokyo. Though, the devildom sounds familiar.. I just cant place my finger on it." Crowley pouted, "I have a general grasp of where all the students came from, but I've never heard anything like the name Tokyo and Devildom before."

"Let's do some research in the library." He suggested, "Follow me."

"There really isn't anything." Crowley sighed as he flipped through the book's pages, you guys have gone atleast 20 books already. "Not only the world map, but the name of your guys' home isn't written in any history."

Crowley hummed, "Are you guys truly from where you say? You aren't lying to me, right?"

"Why would we lie.?" You furrow your eyebrows.

"Looking at this, you may have somehow been brought here from another planet.. And there's also the possibility that you're from another world." Crowley pursed his lips.

"Another world!?" Yuuken remarked.

"Wouldn't be the first time." You mumble to yourself.

"What did you have on you when you came here?" Crowley asked, which made you remember of your pact marks and your sorcerer's society seal. You roll up your sleeve to check. The familiar three staves and seven stars seal was still there on the inner part of your forearm.

"Now that you mention it, I don't have my wallet or phone." Yuuken sighed.

"This is concerning." He then turns to look at you, "What're you staring at, Y/N?" You look at him quickly, immediately unrolling your sleeve.

"Just.. a tattoo." You state. Crowley just nodded.

"Well, I can't just let someone who can't use magic to stay at school.. On the other hand, Y/N has magic.." He mumbles, "However, as an educator, I can't just toss a penniless teenagers out on the street with no form of communication. For I am gracious."

Crowley paused to think, "That's right! There's an unused building on campus. It was once used as a dormitory in the past so if you clean it up you should at least be able to sleep there."

Crowley then smiled, "For the time being, I shall allow you to stay there! Then I will look for a way for you to return home." Crowley then started admiring himself, showering himself in praises.

You just looked at Yuuken in disbelief, how is this guy headmaster?

"We better be on our way. Let's head to the dormitory. It may be old but there is a certain charm to it."

. THE BROTHERS' POV .

A call from Lucifer's D.D.D comes from Simeon, Lucifer picked up and said "Yes?"

"Y/N's missing." Simeon and Solomon say in sync. Simeon was on speakerphone.

Lucifer stops writing, setting his pen down. "What do you mean, missing?"

"I left her at the park, because Luke was in trouble but then Solomon handled it so we went back, and then she was gone." Simeon said frantically.

Lucifer had went to tell his brothers the news, while Simeon was still on call with him.

Mammon then snatched his D.D.D, "You left her in the open?! Unprotected?!" Mammon yelled. Lucifer called out Mammon's name.

"She wasn't unprotected," Solomon frowned, "She has seven pacts, if you'd sense something was wrong you'd be there immediately. That's why we called you."

Mammon then exhaled shakily, "I didn't feel anything."

Satan then interrupted, "I do, I feel her annoyance." he stated.

Levi was already checking his D.D.D to look at Y/N's location. It was blank, the signal was lost.

Beel storms out to look for Y/N

Satan has already went up to his room to look for any type of spells and magic that could've done this.

Asmo sits down on the couch, "Her stuff are still in her room.."

"Then she didn't leave, she was taken." Lucifer sighed as he crossed his arms.

How'd you even end up in here? You awoke to yourself dressed in strange robes, the only thing covering your face was the shadow from the hood you were wearing, two boys were chasing a cat with fire coming out of it's ears.

You were trying to remember how you got here. So, Let's start from the part where it happened.

...

Simeon's next to you on the stone steps, you two were just strolling around. He looks calm— Who are you kidding, he's always calm, always composed in that angelic practiced way.

"Solomon's cooking is just.." He sighed, trying to find the right words without insulting anything.

"Monstrous?" You chuckled with a small smile on your face, Simeon's head turned to you, his gaze softened.

"You could say that." He chuckled back. The air between you two was comforting, then his D.D.D buzzed. Twice.

He takes his D.D.D and checks the screen, then something shifts. It's slight. "It's Luke." He sighed, you tilt your head at his words. "He's gotten into a fight with some random demon, Solomon's there but I need to pick him up." He continued.

"I'll come with—" You start to say, but he interrupts you gently.

"No, I don't want drag you in this mess. I'll be back with Luke." He pouted slightly as he places his hand on your shoulder. "Fine, you can come wit—"

"Actually, you can go. I don't feel like dealing with demons today." You smiled at him, he nodded before walking away

You sat down in a random bench, you knew that purgatory hall wasn't that far so he'd be back soon.

You stare up at the false stars before something catches your eye. A mirror. When did that get there?

You look back down to stare at the mirror, something attracts you, it makes you more curious so you stood up to take a closer peek.

"Ah, my dear esteemed benefactor... My proud, beautiful flower of evil." The mirror speaks, it makes you flinch but you step closer.

You step closer, "You are truly the fairest one of all." It speaks again.

'Is this some sort of magic..?' You think, your head tilted slightly in interest and curiosity.

"O magic mirror, thy wisdom I entreat... Reveal unto me the visage I seek.." You then step closer again.

'Is this some sort of chant?' You think to yourself, you stopped in your tracks.

You then hear a carriage, nearing.

"You, whose image the Dark Mirror did beckon forth..." The mirror speaks out again. "If your heart bids it, take the hand of the one reflected in the mirror." Then suddenly, a hand appears in the mirror, like it was waiting for you to take it.

Then everything turns black.

. SIMEONS POV .

I've only made it two blocks before Luke appeared with Solomon, I flinched.

"I assume you have taken care of it?" I look at Solomon, my hand reaches to Luke's head to pat it.

"Yeah, magic is very useful in these types of situations." Solomon chuckled, before his face slowly fell serious. I could feel it.

The pull in the air. It felt foreign, I felt like something was wrong. "Let's go back to Y/N." I spoke quietly with a small smile, Luke and Solomon only nodded.

When we got back, the area was empty. Silent. Y/N was nowhere to be found. "I sense magic here.." Solomon spoke out.

"I should've brought her with me." I start to panic, Luke's grip on my hand tightened, as a way to comfort me.

"It's not your fault, Simeon!" Luke spoke to me. Solomon nodded at Luke's words.

"We need to tell the brothers." Solomon sighed.
