How old is your version of Ronin? I assume from the way Bad Future Leos talks and interacts with him hes still a kid

but like 13? 15? Older than time itself trapped in a teenagers body?

My version of The Ronin is 16, and he lost his family two years before—when he was 13–some time after the events of the end of the show after they defeated the shredder. Because he lost them all at once at such a young age, he’s a lot more severely traumatized.

In my Doomed Baja Blast AU, bad future leo shows up when The Ronin is 16. Leo is the age he was at at the opening of the Rise movie (my headcanon for him is that he’s in his late 30s or early 40s). There’s a big age difference so Leo very much sees The Ronin as a little guy who is quite sick but is still his baby brother…

Dang now you got me wondering about the whole story of future leo and ronin… cause like where do they meet? Would it be in the krang invasion where Leo finds ronin and drags him back to a safe zone? Or would it be Leo getting dragged i to the different timeline, disorientated as all hell cause ‘wait a minute wasn’t he just fighting a war?’ and runs into ronin by mistake?

Either way… love the idea of them teaching each other survival skills from their own timelines and reluctantly (ronin) becoming co-dependent of each other

For this scenario, I imagine future leo is taken from the intro of the movie—specifically, the moment casey jr. is thrown into the portal—and is dropped into the ronin’s dimension instead of dying immediately. Mikey (the ronin) finds him in a really sorry state, and it’s a real big shock for both of them at first…but, they eventually adjust somewhat and very quickly stick together like jam. :)

Bad timeline future Leo and The Last Ronin doodle dump…they’re both so sick and messed up and doomed by their narratives….but what if they found each other? What if your brother, who you thought was gone forever showed up in some kind of miracle, and is different and changed and broken, but is now all you have, and is therefore precious? What if, despite losing everything—you can still love, and you could still heal? (I’m utterly deranged. thank you for coming to my doomed baja blast post)

omg??? 🥺🥺🥺 I didn't work on the show; you see, I've had a disorder since I was 7 years old in which the cells in my frontal lobe have mutated to designate that entire section of my brain for TMNT.
