Story:

My name is Ahmed, and I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit.

My beloved sister, Sarah, is a 26-year-old young woman full of dreams, kindness, and strength. Just a few months ago, she was working full-time as a teacher, inspiring children every day. But life took a sudden, painful turn when she was diagnosed with stage 3 lymphoma cancer.

The diagnosis came as a shock. Since then, Sarah has undergone multiple rounds of chemotherapy. Her strength is admirable, but the financial burden is overwhelming. Medical bills, medications, frequent hospital visits, and special treatments are piling up quickly. Our family is doing everything we can, but we are falling short.

We are humbly asking for your support. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward Sarah’s treatment and care. Your kindness could give her a fighting chance — a chance to heal, to live, and to one day return to the classroom she loves so much

In the past, I used to wake up my daughter for school, prepare her bath and breakfast, get dressed, and go to school. Life was normal, water was available, and there was a normal bathroom like everyone else's. But now, unfortunately, I wake up my daughter quickly so she can fill the water tank before it runs out, because if she doesn't run, unfortunately, she won't get any water. So, she brings water and heats it on the fire for her to take a bath. Of course, our suffering with the fire is indescribable.

This girl is supposed to wake up to a clean environment or wake up to find clean water to wash her face in, not wake up running to fill up on water.

Oh God, make it easy for us, oh God.

We are human beings and we have the strength and energy, but what we face and what we suffer is beyond the capacity of all that God created, whether human or stone.

We have lost everything we own, we have lost our home, our possessions, our dreams, the people closest to us, and the dreams of our children. We are dead in every sense of the word. We are not waiting for the future, but we are waiting for death in all its hideous forms.

I am a mother of four children and displaced from Gaza. I lost my home and the source of my husband’s livelihood, who is still in Gaza. I am responsible for my family, including my mother-in-law, who is sick and disabled and needs treatment due to her chronic illnesses, including my children. I have been unable to provide even their daily sustenance, and all means have become narrow for me, so I have turned to charitable people to help me, even if it is by providing a living for my children and my elderly mother-in-law. Despair and oppression have taken hold of me when I see deprivation in the eyes of my children
