Snowball Fight
Hi my dears! I thought I would hop onto the Sebastian Sallow fanfic bandwagon, he's been living rent free in my brain for too long now and the game didn't give us enough time with him.
This blog will only write appropriate cute fluffy oneshots for this character because I do agree that we need to respect the fact he is underage during the events of the game.
Later I plan on creating more fics with him and reader after they graduated Hogwarts.
gn!reader x Sebastian Sallow
'"Brr!" You rubbed your mitten hands together, desperately trying to keep your fingers from freezing solid. "It's colder out here than the look Imelda gave me this morning."
Sebastian laughed loudly at that, his emerald-lined cloak flapping noisily in the brisk wind. "I'm surprised they didn't cancel Care of Magical Creatures today. Can't imagine the creatures are too thrilled either."
Together you trudged through the thickening snow, up to your ankles in it now and leaving quickly filling footprints behind.
"Did Ominis head to class without us again?" You asked, the tip of your nose now completely numb, your chattering teeth making it difficult to speak.
"He seems rather put out at the amount of personal information I tell you." Sebastian shrugged, glancing down at your shivering form. "Come here, give me your hands."
The two of you took shelter beneath a heavy fir tree, the ground below relatively clear of snow thanks to the thick branches above. You gave Sebastian a wary look as you shuffled near to him, accepting his outstretched hand as he withdrew his dark walnut wand.
"Don't give me that pathetic look, I'm not going to blast your fingers off." He sniffed loudly, clearing his throat before muttering a quick incantation.
An immediate warmth spread from the tips of your icy fingers, flowing down through your hands and up your arms with pleasant swiftness. You flexed your fingers within Sebastian's grasp, giving him a grateful smile.
"Thank you Seb."
"Yes, well." Sebastian nodded to you, stowing his wand once more within his Slytherin robes. "Your shivering was becoming mildly alarming. Don't want to have to drag your body up to the hospital wing do I?"
"Thoughtful as ever." You teased, nudging your shoulder against his and coaxing a grudging smile from your friend.
"Don't tell anyone, I have a reputation to uphold."
He began walking again, a little in front of you and completely oblivious to your sudden mischievous movements as you doubled over, grabbing a handful of snow and shaping it into a sloppy ball.
Taking careful aim, you lobbed the frozen projectile at your friend's back. It struck him and splattered all over his black robes. Sebastian whirled on you, suprise and disbelief quickly transforming into amusement on his freckled face, his brown eyes widening with incredulity. "Oh, you've done it now! Not even your ancient magical powers will save you!"
With a shrieking laugh you took off running away from him as he stooped to gather his own snowball. You felt a cold impact as it hit you across the right shoulder, unbalancing you as you tried to evade him. Your feet slipped from under you and you slid in the snow all the way down to the base of the hill, passing several confused students who were also making their careful way to Care of Magical Creatures.
It was your Hufflepuff friend, Poppy, who helped you to your wobbly feet, assisting as you brushed layers of snow from your school uniform. "What happened to you?" She asked and followed your accusing finger as you point up the hill to where Sebastian was making his way down to you. His face was alight with mirth as he laughed at the state you were in.
"That backfired spectacularly I would say!" He chortled, shaking his head at you. "This is how you repay a friend for healing you? Chucking a snowball at them?"
"I wouldn't exactly call it 'healing', Sebastian." You grumbled, now thoroughly chilled to the bone. "I'd been itching to do that all day, but my hands were too cold."
"Ah, I see." He didn't hesitate to help you dry off, using the same incantation he had before you'd bit off more than you could chew. "It's my fault, then."
You nodded and he laughed again. People had mentioned to you before how Sebastian hardly ever cracked a smile before he became friends with you. Some of your closer schoolmates, such as Poppy and Natty, even went so far as to tease you rather relentlessly about how Sebastian lit up when in your presence.
"Let's get to class." Poppy suggested and led the way as you and Sebastian followed.
You saw the class hut up ahead with an awning blocking the falling snow and magically floating torches arranged around the tables to keep the space warm.
A tugging at the neck of your robes was your only warning before Sebastian shoved a handful of snow down the back of your shirt. You squealed, wheeling around to smack him on the chest but he'd already hastened away toward your usual spot, cackling.
"I suppose I deserved that." You muttered as Poppy turned to see what he'd done.
"I'm sure he'll warm you up later." She assured you, hooking her arm through yours as you walked the last few yards to class.
Your blush had nothing to do with the cold.

Josephine: Inquisitor, we need to talk. In your last press release about providing security to local farms, you mentioned sending troops to protect the Orlesian village of Perendale. Inquisitor: Yeah. Josephine: Perendale is in NEVARRA. Inquisitor: So? Every town up here is just two dirty piles of snow connected by a covered bridge.

I am so invested in these two omg 🥰🥰
10 minute writing if you're still doing this! Senator!Reader and Thrawn, protect?
You weren’t sure when exactly the firefight started. One moment the pirates seemed to be playing into your scheme, the next, they were pulling out their blasters and trying their very best to kill all of you.
Ensign Vanto manged to pull you behind cover of one archways while Captain Thrawn ducked behind an overturned table on the opposite side of the room.
“Still think this was a good plan Senator,” Vanto quipped.
You tried your best not to take offense. Admittedly, it had been your plan.
“It was working,” you said. “Somebody must have tipped them off.”
“You think?”
It was then Thrawn voice came off Vanto’s comm.
“Ensign, get the Senator out of danger.” His tone was cool and calm, and completely the opposite of the situation. “I will draw their fire long enough for you to get to the shuttle.”
“What about you, sir?” Vanto said.
“I will meet you there. Now go.”
He didn’t give either of you time to respond as he clicked off the calm. A second later, there was a yelp of surprise and sudden shouting as a volley of blaster fire and concussive blast came from Thrawn’s side of the room.
“C’mon,” Vanto said, grabbing your arm and pulling you out from behind cover.
You turned to look behind to see Thrawn now standing up from behind the table, giving the pirates a clear target, as they recovered from his concussive grenade.
One of the bolts hit home, sending Thrawn toppling to the floor.
You didn’t think. Pulling Vanto’s blaster from his belt, you turned back around and opened fire.
The pirates barely had time to react, having had all their attention turned on Thrawn. It took them a full two seconds to turn their weapons to bare. Two seconds too late. And handful of blaster shots later and it was over.
You breathed hard, your hands now starting to shake as you looked down at the injured and dead men on the floor.
“Captain Thrawn?” you called, unable to keep the worry out of your voice.
“Here Senator,” he answered, grunting a little through the pain as he slowly pulled himself to his feet. “Are you alright?”
You let out a strangled laugh. “Me? Fine. You?”
A/N: This kind of turned into a 15 minute challenge. Oh well. Check out The Senator and The Chiss as well as A Study in Allies for more Senator!Reader action.

Word Count: 3.7K
As much as you tried to fight it, Lieutenant Thrawn did not fully leave your mind for the next twenty-four hours.
You had spent the rest of the evening performing your duties, shaking hands and introducing yourself to as many of the movers and shakers of Courscant as you were able. But as you finally made it home and drifted off to sleep, your conversation with Thrawn was the only thing to remain in your memory.

Gather Your Party
A short drabble wherein Inquisitor Lavellan talks to Anders and Hawke. Merriment with Varric, Bull and his Chargers over at the Wicked Grace table. Cole sympathizes with mice.
"I do love cats."
Tathariel raised an eyebrow at the mage, "Indeed, you have spoken of little else."
Anders regarded her with an innocently surprised expression, pursing his mouth closed. Hawke had been accompanied by him to Skyhold, apparently he would have no other way.
An awkward silence ensued, both mages glanced around the tavern for something to hold their attention.
"I don't suppose...you have any?"
"Any what?"
"Cats?"
Bemusement flashed in her green eyes, "I think not, Anders. Though maybe we could use some since there seem to be plenty of mice."
"Mice don't like cats." Cole materialized at Anders shoulder causing the latter to violently cringe away in suprise, "Biting, chasing, fear and pain. They only want the cheese I leave out for them."
"Cole, Anders. Anders, Cole." Tathariel waved between the two and Cole greeted Anders confused stare with a cheery:
"Hello!"
"Kid, come join us! You could use some skills in Wicked Grace!" Varric, who had been entertaining Bull and his Chargers, waved Cole over.
"How can grace be wicked?"
He meandered over to Varric who chuckled and pulled out a chair for him.
"Beats me, but is sure is."
Tathariel's gaze lingered on the group, all laughing and joking amongst themselves.
Well-all except Grim and Cole perhaps.
The latter seemed too preoccupied reading the emotions of those around him to be bothered with playing cards.
"So, he's an abomination as well?" Ander's amber eyes had followed the spirit of compassion as well.
"Not in the same sense as you are, no. He is a spirit of compassion who has taken on a human form."
His eyes widened with wonder, "Fascinating."
At that moment, Hawke and Leliana descended the steps that lead to the tavern's second floor. Both looked flustered.
"Apparently," Leliana approached the Inquisitor with an air of annoyance, "Alistair is waiting to meet with you on the outskirts of Crestwood. He couldn't come to Skyhold because of...unfriendly surroundings."
Tathariel tilted her head, "Alistair..?"
"My friend in the Grey Wardens." Hawke explained, "Alistair Theirin who helped stop the Blight and is married to the Hero of Ferelden."
Lavellan nodded, "And so we venture forth once again."
An cacophony of noise erupted from the table of Wicked Grace.
Amid shouts of "no fair" and "he cheated" Tathariel heard Leliana affirm with Hawke that the latter would meet the Inquisitor at the cave Alistair was rumored to be.
"We'll see you soon. And be careful, Inquisitor, there are reports of the undead rising up in the village of Crestwood. You might get to look forward to a fight." She winked and departed with Anders at her side. Tathariel grimaced and sighed, "Lovely. Corpses. Just. Great."
Leliana chuckled and put a hand on the Elf's tense shoulder, "Time to gather your party, Inquisitor."

how trespasser really should have gone down
Solas: The Dread Wolf inspired hope in my friends, and fear in my enemies, not unlike Inquisitor I suppose. Lavellan: Wait, fear in your enemies? Solas: That is correct. They- Lavellan: First of all when have you ever been dreadful during a fight? I’m up close and personal with these enemies, risking my life, while you stand off at a safe distance casting spells and fade stepping away if you’re ever in danger? Dread wolf? More like dread rabbit. Solas: Vhenan- Lavellan: please don’t tell me this dread wolf nickname had something to do with you being a womanizer, with that wolfish grin of yours and all. Solas: my what? Lavellan: if you’re so dread inducing in battle, prove it. *crosses arms* Solas: … Lavellan: just a spar. just once, I want to know how much you’ve been holding back from us and screwing us over in battle. Solas: Vhenan, you’re dying. This is not the best time- Lavellan: *puts up fists* then it should be easy, wolves love going after the weak ones, unless you’re scared.

Finding Solace
This is my first time ever making fanfiction so please be merciful. My late contribution to Solas Fluff Friday.
The moon shone brightly, reflecting soft silver light over the serene night in Emprise du Lion. Tathariel perched primly on an outcropping of rock some ways away from where they had set up camp. She enjoyed these moments of time to herself for they came too seldom since becoming "Herald". Lost in thought, her jade eyes scanned the mountains covered in a blanket of glowing snow. The scenery sent her mind to the past when times had been simpler. Brighter. Clan Lavellan had taught Tathariel to fear winter for they said it brought death and misery. Biting and gnawing. Claws and teeth of ice that felled even the sturdiest hunter. But for all the Keeper's warnings and efforts to keep her warm, Tathariel had forever been drawn to its sting. She loved how alive it made her feel even as the breath threatened to freeze from her lungs. And so it came as no surprise that her magical abilities first manifested in the form of a blizzard she caused inside one of the Aravels. A flurry of commotion and shouting ensued tamed only whenKeeper Deshanna nullified the young Elf's accidental casting with her own pyrotechnical ability. Her grey eyes had twinkled down at Tathariel with amusement as she brushed a stray bit of auburn hair from the child's face. "I should have known you would come to hold winter in your grasp, da'len" The keeper had taken the budding mage under her wing and raised her as her own. Tathariel's parents had been killed by shems when she was too young to form words. The elfling thus had no memory of mother and father. Only Keeper Deshanna in all her wisdom and grace. Her smile would fill Tathariel's dreams even now..especially now. Being so far from home. The thought tore at her heart. She closed her eyes at the memory of that beloved voice. So close yet far away. Echoing as if from another world. How distant that life was from her now. And yet... She glanced over her shoulder to where the Iron Bull and Solas were sharing the warmth of a campfire seemingly deep in conversation. The latter held his hands to the flames for warmth. The young Dalish felt warmth of her own creep along her cheekbones as she studied the mage. He had been unexpected. She never had thought to become so attached to someone again. Not like this. Not since...well she didn't want to think about Geran now. It made her heart ache and winter's chill around her bite colder. The Fade Walker's face came unbidden to the forefront of her mind now. The way his grey-blue eyes had regarded her coolly when they first met, as if sizing her up. Critical. It had made her lip curl in defiance. However, as time passed he had warmed considerably, causing her to melt in turn. A puff of vapor escaped from Tathariel's mouth as she huffed in annoyance. No, not again. She would not let her guard down again. It would only end in pain. Again.
"Hey boss, you frozen yet?" Apparently she hadn't chosen a rock far enough away to not be spotted by Bull's eagle eye.
"Not quite!"
The Herald stood, brushed snow from her backside, and began to make her way back to camp. The Inquisition scouts had already turned in for the night leaving the fire to just Tathariel and her companions.
Solas caught her eye as she neared them and gave a barely perceptible smile. He hardly ever smiled, she thought.
"Where's Sera?" Tathariel just noticed the sprite's absence. Not particularly missing it, seeing as it seemed Sera had been sent to the Inquisition specifically to test Tathariel's patience.
"We thought she was with you."
Tathariel snorted, "Not likely seeing as she insists on-"
THWUMP
"aaagh!"
A ball of snow had come flying from behind a tent and hit Tathariel square on the jaw causing her to splutter and stagger back.
A cackle of laughter erupted from the offending tent and Tathariel narrowed her eyes at it.
"Oooh the lady Herald got rifted!" More cackling.
"Uh...Boss.." Bull got to his feet, shoulders shaking with laughter. He began to gather snow, "I got this."
Solas opened his mouth to speak but Sera's next snowball clipped his shoulder.
The two Elves shared a look.
Tathariel raised an eyebrow and Solas nodded, a smirk playing on his lips, before both dashed around either side of the tent.
Sera, who had of course been hiding there saw Solas first and, with a shout, turned to run the other way. Only to shriek when she found Tathariel was waiting for her.
"Mother pissbucket-" A stream of curses erupted from Sera as she ran headlong into Tathariel's waiting grasp.
Snow began to fly in earnest and before long the two Elves, Sera and the Herald, were grappling on the soft ground, trying to shove as much snow as possible down the other's front.
Tathariel's eyes streamed tears as she laughed, conjuring snow to dance from the tips of her fingers and into Sera's chilled face. "I'll give ya an arrow in the butt for this, Herald! Putmedown!!"
She felt Sera be peeled away from her as the Iron Bull flipped her writhing form onto his broad shoulder.
Chuckling, he strolled to the nearest snow drift and dropped Sera unceremoniously into it.
Tathariel got to her feet unsteadily finding her clothing to be completely drenched. Despite her training the cold was beginning to affect her.
"Alright! Now we've got that settled I'm going to dry off and get some shut eye." Bull seemed pleased with himself and gave Tathariel a clap on the back as he passed, "Told you I got your back."
"Thanks Bull." A grin tugged her lips up, "Knew I could count on you."
"Son of an arse nugget!" Sera had made it out of the drift, seemingly the worse for wear.
"Don't start something you can't finish." Tathariel grinned at the glower Sera gave her.
"Both of you should warm yourselves by the fire immediately."
"You can shove the fire up your fade blessed arse, Solas."
He stepped aside, catching Tathariel's eye, and let Sera pass. She disappeared quickly into one of the tents.
"Oh your shitting me." Iron Bull protested form inside. "Get your pants off my horns."
Tathariel laughed and immediately shuddered from a violent chill.
"Come," Solas took her elbow and steered her to the fire, "Sit." She did and he took a seat next to her. Another chill caused the young Elf to spasm. She felt a hand on her back followed by the warmth of his magic. It followed the pressure of his hand as Solas rubbed her back.
The combination of both the fire and mage began to dry the worst of her clothing.
Her hair was the last to dry fully and it swayed on the edge of her vision, a glowing red curtain reflecting the light of the dancing flames before her.
Green eyes fluttered closed and she swayed to find rest with something sturdy and warm at her back.
A pressure at the top of her head made Tathariel sigh lazily.
Her heavy mind realized what the warmth encircling her was. Neither fire nor magic. Yet both at once. A warmth spread through her chest, chasing away all lingering homesickness. A drowsy smile curled her lips as the arms around her tightened.
"Sleep, Lethallan."
