Wait, wait, wait, I'm Doaa Adas, I just need you to hear my story🙏🏻🇵🇸

Hello my friends, I am Doaa Adas from the northern Gaza Strip. I hope everyone hears my story and thinks about helping me. My story began in the barbaric war on Gaza. One day of the war, we were in our house. Suddenly the bombing began and no one was able to leave the door of the house. At that time, the army arrived on the street of our house, and we remained besieged for 3 days without food. We decided to leave the house. So the Jews took me, my mother, and my father. My father was martyred and I was injured. My psychological state was very bad. I wrote for a long time, and at that time my mother She took me and we fled to the south of the Gaza Strip to receive treatment. Now we are without a home or a family, and we have no source of income. Please help me. My mother is responsible for me, but I started a donation campaign because we do not have the income to be able to buy supplies. I hope everyone can help me and my mom. Please don't let me down.😔💔
Donate to me via the link, please. 👇🏼😔

Soso, rescued a child from the clutches of war.

She did not complete her first year before she carried the burdens of war. My little daughter, who has known life only through tears, hunger and displacement, needs you. Donate or spread her story, because every good deed plants hope in our hearts.
Vetted by @gazavetters , my number verified on the list is ( #184 ) and the butterfly project (#1117).

disabled intersex trans lesbian needs help saving up for rent while preparing for surgery & GI procedures
hello, my name is equinox. i'm a multiply disabled intersex trans lesbian who deals with a lot of different health issues. currently, i'm dealing with a large gallstone that is stuck in my gallbladder, which has been causing a lot of pain, as well as very severe GI issues. it has been virtually impossible to stand, sit upright, or be out of the house for significant periods of time, and even sitting upright to work or use the computer has proven to be painful. i am also struggling to keep down food.
i'm currently awaiting surgery to have my gallbladder removed, as well as an endo/colonoscopy and a gastric emptying study:

in the mean time, i need to save up for my monthly rent, which is only $178/month thanks to me having subsidized housing. i currently do not make any other income other than my shop, i am applying for disability but am currently in the processing stage. i sell handmade jewelry as well as zines i have written on queerness as well.
$0/$178
if you are interested in helping, you can do so in the following ways:
cash app: $glitterGraphix pay pal: glittergraphicnightmare # gmail .com venmo: $Equinoxian chime: $equinoxian
thank you to everyone who takes the time to read, reblog and support- i appreciate you more than words can ever express. thank you for your generosity and kindness

As a rule of thumb, don't reblog donation posts or people asking for donations unless they've been vetted and reblogged by Palestinian bloggers. We usually go to lengths to verify this shit because we know scammers have been faking to get people to send them money, using the urgency of our genocide as bait.
It's disgusting this is what we're dealing with, but people are losing money because of some truly evil people out there.
Accounts don't just randomly spring up on tumblr without gofundmes while asking for someone to help them create a campaign. Fuck out of here with that shit.

Palestine fundraisers with easily-achievable goals
By "easily-achievable", I mean in the 50-60K range and below. Once again, drawing from my pinned list of fundraisers, which have all been vetted by Palestinians on Tumblr (check that post for the proof next to each family name). I'll update this post just like the main list and the "under 1000 donations" list. Many of these are extremely close to completing their funding. Let's help get them there!
As always, donate if you can, reblog if you can't!
LAST UPDATED 9/5
10K range
Aya's family Goal: 15K 2/3 funded
The Saftawi family Goal: 16K 2874 TO GO!
20K range
The Sami family Goal: 20K Half funded
Zaen and Yehya Goal: 25K 1/4 funded
The Ismaeel family Goal: 25K 1/3 funded
Ashraf's family Goal: 25K 3620 TO GO!
30K range
Ahmed's family Goal: 30K 1/3 funded
The Alnabih family Goal: 30K 4176 TO GO!
The Khalaf family Goal: 30K 1806 TO GO!
Issam Aziz's mother Goal: 30K 2970 TO GO!
Amira's family Goal: 39K 2/3 funded
40K range
The Hor family Goal: 40K Under 1/5 funded
The Abushammaleh family Goal: 40K 1/3 funded
The Shaqoura family Goal: 45K Half funded
The Aburass family Goal: 45K 1/4 funded
Note: The Aburass campaign is in SEK, so the goal is technically 450K, but converted to USD it's closer to 45. Ultimately I decided to include this one since USD, CAD, GBP, and EUR will be more powerful here, and a huge chunk of the site's user base will pay with one of those currencies. The more hands on deck, the better.
50K range
Amal's family Goal: 50K Under 1/5 funded
Walaa's family Goal: 50K 1/5 funded
The Shorbaje family Goal: 50K 1/3 funded
The Aldeeb family Goal: 55K 2/3 funded

Taking a look🇵🇸🍉
I’m Maria from Gaza 🍉🇵🇸….. I need your help if you can
Maria’s family, once settled in northern Gaza, has faced unimaginable hardship since the outbreak of conflict on October 13. At 21, Maria is a pharmacy student, dedicated to her studies despite the dire circumstances. The family of six was forcibly displaced, moving south multiple times as they endured relentless bombing, destruction, and displacement.
The war has ravaged their lives profoundly. Their home was destroyed, and Maria's father, who owned a perfume business, lost everything—his shops and warehouses burned to the ground. The family’s struggle is compounded by starvation, diseases, and the constant interruption of essential services like electricity and fuel. The family’s situation is further exacerbated by the loss of their livelihoods and the death of numerous relatives.
Currently, they live in a tent, struggling to rebuild both their home and their means of support. Despite these overwhelming challenges, Maria remains resolute in her pursuit of education and her determination to help her family recover from the devastation they have endured.

Homemaking, gardening, and self-sufficiency resources that won't radicalize you into a hate group
It seems like self-sufficiency and homemaking skills are blowing up right now. With the COVID-19 pandemic and the current economic crisis, a lot of folks, especially young people, are looking to develop skills that will help them be a little bit less dependent on our consumerist economy. And I think that's generally a good thing. I think more of us should know how to cook a meal from scratch, grow our own vegetables, and mend our own clothes. Those are good skills to have.
Unfortunately, these "self-sufficiency" skills are often used as a recruiting tactic by white supremacists, TERFs, and other hate groups. They become a way to reconnect to or relive the "good old days," a romanticized (false) past before modern society and civil rights. And for a lot of people, these skills are inseparably connected to their politics and may even be used as a tool to indoctrinate new people.
In the spirit of building safe communities, here's a complete list of the safe resources I've found for learning homemaking, gardening, and related skills. Safe for me means queer- and trans-friendly, inclusive of different races and cultures, does not contain Christian preaching, and does not contain white supremacist or TERF dog whistles.
Homemaking/Housekeeping/Caring for your home:
Making It by Kelly Coyne and Erik Knutzen [book] (The big crunchy household DIY book; includes every level of self-sufficiency from making your own toothpaste and laundry soap to setting up raised beds to butchering a chicken. Authors are explicitly left-leaning.)
Safe and Sound: A Renter-Friendly Guide to Home Repair by Mercury Stardust [book] (A guide to simple home repair tasks, written with rentals in mind; very compassionate and accessible language.)
How To Keep House While Drowning by KC Davis [book] (The book about cleaning and housework for people who get overwhelmed by cleaning and housework, based on the premise that messiness is not a moral failing; disability and neurodivergence friendly; genuinely changed how I approach cleaning tasks.)
Gardening
Rebel Gardening by Alessandro Vitale [book] (Really great introduction to urban gardening; explicitly discusses renter-friendly garden designs in small spaces; lots of DIY solutions using recycled materials; note that the author lives in England, so check if plants are invasive in your area before putting them in the ground.)
Country/Rural Living:
Woodsqueer by Gretchen Legler [book] (Memoir of a lesbian who lives and works on a rural farm in Maine with her wife; does a good job of showing what it's like to be queer in a rural space; CW for mentions of domestic violence, infidelity/cheating, and internalized homophobia)
"Debunking the Off-Grid Fantasy" by Maggie Mae Fish [video essay] (Deconstructs the off-grid lifestyle and the myth of self-reliance)
Sewing/Mending:
Annika Victoria [YouTube channel] (No longer active, but their videos are still a great resource for anyone learning to sew; check out the beginner project playlist to start. This is where I learned a lot of what I know about sewing.)
Make, Sew, and Mend by Bernadette Banner [book] (A very thorough written introduction to hand-sewing, written by a clothing historian; lots of fun garment history facts; explicitly inclusive of BIPOC, queer, and trans sewists.)
Sustainability/Land Stewardship
Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer [book] (Most of you have probably already read this one or had it recommended to you, but it really is that good; excellent example of how traditional animist beliefs -- in this case, indigenous American beliefs -- can exist in healthy symbiosis with science; more philosophy than how-to, but a great foundational resource.)
Wild Witchcraft by Rebecca Beyer [book] (This one is for my fellow witches; one of my favorite witchcraft books, and an excellent example of a place-based practice deeply rooted in the land.)
Avoiding the "Crunchy to Alt Right Pipeline"
Note: the "crunchy to alt-right pipeline" is a term used to describe how white supremacists and other far right groups use "crunchy" spaces (i.e., spaces dedicated to farming, homemaking, alternative medicine, simple living/slow living, etc.) to recruit and indoctrinate people into their movements. Knowing how this recruitment works can help you recognize it when you do encounter it and avoid being influenced by it.
"The Crunchy-to-Alt-Right Pipeline" by Kathleen Belew [magazine article] (Good, short introduction to this issue and its history.)
Sisters in Hate by Seyward Darby (I feel like I need to give a content warning: this book contains explicit descriptions of racism, white supremacy, and Neo Nazis, and it's a very difficult read, but it really is a great, in-depth breakdown of the role women play in the alt-right; also explicitly addresses the crunchy to alt-right pipeline.)
These are just the resources I've personally found helpful, so if anyone else has any they want to add, please, please do!
