It is concerning that my queer safe therapist— who has lived in my area since like 2008 at least, who used to be able to network and refer their patients to higher care freely — no longer feels confident in referring their LGBTQIA+ folks to higher care when it regards like. Their identity.

I feel like that says a lot! That we had to discuss being safe in our current times. But hey at least Im seeing someone again.

It was just the first visit and I am still motivated to game plan for myself but… having someone echo my concerns for safety was weirdly affirming.

Honestly I think they have misused the word for so long they genuinely do not know how to appropriately identify manipulation anymore. But who’s to say, they live in their own universe and I know absolutely nothing about it (nor do I want to).

If nothing else, I think it says a lot more that Meg was being blatantly two-faced and dishonest with her interactions between the two. Imagine how many misunderstandings would have been avoided if—oh I dunno— people weren’t fake as hell.
