Things I Wish I Started Sooner
By Samuel Peter
— A Personal Reflection on Delay, Discovery, and Redemption
Life hits different when you start realizing the things you should have done earlier. The truth is, timing really matters. Looking back now, there are two major areas in my life I wish I had given attention to much sooner.
1. Building a Relationship with God Early
If there’s anything I regret most, it’s not knowing God earlier in my life. It took me a long time to understand His ways, and that delay came with a lot of unnecessary pain and struggle. I honestly believe that if I had known God earlier — not just by name, but truly walked with Him — my path would have been clearer and a lot more peaceful.
2. Starting My Education Journey On Time
I completed my secondary school around 2020. Ideally, I should have entered the university by 2021. But life happened — background struggles, lack of proper guidance, and a lot of waiting. Now, I’m just entering university at 21, and I won’t lie — it hurts. Most of my mates are already in their final year or graduating soon, while I’m just going into 200 level. The comparison stings, but I’m trying hard not to let it break me.
---
Personal Battles Behind the Scenes
What people don’t see is the spiritual and emotional warfare that’s happening behind closed doors. It’s deeper than delays — it feels like I’m fighting battles that started long before I was born.
I face spiritual attacks, generational patterns, and battles that feel inherited.
There are things I go through that prayer and fasting haven’t fully erased — they only reduce the impact.
Sometimes I wonder what my forefathers did to attract this kind of suffering.
It feels unfair to be carrying a weight I didn’t cause.
It Affects Everything:
These battles show up in my mental health, emotions, finances, and relationships. It’s not just about being behind in school — it’s about feeling blocked in life.
---
A Cry from the Heart
Sometimes, I just want someone to check on me — to really ask, “How are you holding up?”
Because honestly... I’m going through a lot that’s way beyond my age.
I wish life could be fair.
I wish I could go back and re-choose my family.
I wish things were different.
But more than anything...
I still believe God is working.

Leaving Behind the Life I Thought I Wanted
By Samuel Peter
This isn't just a topic for me — it's my life. A true story.
For years, I believed I was living freely. I thought I was in control, doing things my own way. But it took time — and divine intervention — for me to realize I wasn’t.
I genuinely desired a good life, one filled with peace, progress, and purpose. But I had no idea how many unseen forces were silently fighting that dream.
---
When Life Becomes a Battle
Everything I touched, heard, ate, or saw started turning against me. It wasn’t normal — it was spiritual. I could feel it, especially in my head, and it hurt. It felt like my mind was under attack.
The hardest part? I had no one to tell. No one believed me. And when I tried to speak up, it always felt like too much — like I was overreacting.
I was stuck. Spiritually and emotionally.
But somehow, through all the battles, God came to my aid. That’s how I’m still standing today. It’s not by my power — it’s grace.
---
The Pain of Watching Others Move Ahead
What hurts most? Seeing my mates move forward — getting jobs, gaining recognition, building lives — while I’m here, still fighting invisible battles. It's unfair.
If I had the choice to pick a family or a background before birth, maybe I would’ve chosen differently. Maybe I wouldn’t have been born into the same place, into these spiritual battles I didn't ask for.
I try not to regret anything, but sometimes it’s hard not to feel the pain.
---
A Life of Simplicity, Not Sin
I’m not into drinking. I don’t womanize. I barely hang out. All I’ve ever wanted is a meaningful life — something greater than survival.
That’s why I’m writing this. Because I’ve come to accept that sometimes, we leave behind the life we wanted — not because we gave up, but because we had to fight for the one God is preparing.
---
From Electrician to Undergraduate
Before, I was just an electrician. That was all I knew. But God had other plans. Now I’m in university, studying Economics Education — 200 level and still pushing. It’s not easy, but purpose is pushing me.
I’m still in the process. I’m still healing. But I’m here.
---
In Short: You’re Not Alone
If you’ve ever felt like your life isn’t going as planned, or that you’ve left behind dreams that once felt real — you are not alone.
And maybe, just maybe, your life is still better than someone else's who is facing worse.
So don’t give up. Stick with God.
He’s still writing your story.

Education and the Modern World: A Journey of Change and Relevance
By Samuel Peter
The World Is Changing Faster Than Ever
The world is not the same anymore. Every day, it's evolving—fast. Technology is moving forward, society is shifting, and the pace of life is accelerating. One of the most powerful forces behind this change is education.
Looking Back to Understand Now
Let’s take a step back. Think of the year 1962. The money used back then, the way people lived, learned, and interacted with the world—it’s all very different now.
Back then, education was limited in many places. Resources were fewer. Opportunities were unevenly distributed. But today, things have changed—drastically.
The Power of Education in a Modern World
We now live in a world where education opens doors to endless possibilities. It’s through education that people now learn how to build websites, code apps, design machines, or even solve complex real-world problems.
The tools we use today—like AI, the internet, mobile learning apps—didn’t even exist a few decades ago.
Growing with the Change
Just as the world is evolving, education must evolve with it. The facilities, the healthcare systems, the quality of learning, access to information, and even equality in education—everything is changing.
Those who choose to grow with it will be the ones who thrive in this fast-moving world.
The Cost of Being Left Behind
Let’s be real: in today’s world, not being educated can limit your opportunities. Some doors will simply remain closed. The job market is shifting. Organizations now need people who can think critically, adapt quickly, and use technology effectively.
If you’re not preparing yourself, you risk being left behind.
> “There are places you will be denied if you are not educated.”
Education Is More Than a Classroom
Education isn’t just about school. It’s about staying informed, growing your mind, and positioning yourself for what’s next—because the truth is, no one knows what the next one or two years will look like.
The world is unpredictable. But what we do know is that it’s moving forward, with or without us.
Ask Yourself These Questions
Am I growing with the world?
Am I using my time wisely to prepare for what’s next?
Am I letting the future shape me—or am I shaping my own future?
Final Words: You Are the World
The world won’t stop evolving. It’s been moving long before we were born. But we have a choice: to move with it, or stay stuck in the past.
In the end, we are the world. We shape it, we build it, we live in it. So let’s give our best to it—through education, awareness, and growth.
---
In-Short
> Time and education are two of the greatest tools for surviving and thriving in the modern world. Use them well.

What You're Going Through — And Why You Must Go Through It
By Samuel Peter
At first, everything begins with a background.
And background is just like a foundation.
As we already know, there are different types of backgrounds — the silver spoon, and the lowly beginning.
Most of us, the youth — the future elders — are going through a lot right now.
But if you trace it, much of it started from our background.
Let’s be real:
You can’t compare someone from a rich background to someone from a poor one. Their upbringing, mentality, healthcare, opportunities, education, friendships, and environment — they’re not the same.
So this is especially for those of us from the lowly background, the ones going through it right now.
> The reason you're facing so much is because you are the one chosen to lift the generation.
You are the one who will break the cycle and do what no one has ever done in your family — on both your mother’s and father’s side.
Yes, it’s hard.
You’ll feel frustrated.
Tired.
Unlucky.
Betrayed.
Overlooked.
But I’m begging you: don’t give up.
From my little experience, here are 3 things that kept me going — and they’ll help you too:
---
✅ 1. Pray and Fast
Seek strength from God. No one understands you better than Him.
✅ 2. Build the Process
Start shaping the person you want to become — little by little, one step at a time.
✅ 3. Be Consistent
Consistency makes your struggle meaningful. It builds the bridge to where you’re going.
---
In short:
You're going through all this because you’re destined for greatness.
Success.
Prosperity.
Impact.
But success comes with sacrifice.
So every time you feel like giving up, read this again:
---
> 🔑 “Process is the key to progress.
🕊️ Progress brings peace.
🙏 Peace is the way of faith.
💫 And faith is what completes success.”
— Samuel Peter
