Biography:

Kieran grew up in a tiny town where basically everyone knew each other, however, there were of course the few that slipped under the radar and no one exactly knew their names or there were the new people that had currently moved into the neighborhood. That was how he liked it because it was easier to make friends that way - not that he had a problem with that because everyone was drawn to him from the very beginning - it may have been slightly due to the power he had but not yet discovered because it wasn't as strong and hadn't fully activated.

He was nine when he found out he was going to be a big brother and to his mother's surprise, he was actually happy about the news because he always wanted a younger sibling - whether it be a brother or a sister as it was often lonely at home during the times when his parents would go out to special events for his father's work. As soon as his brother, Kayden was born, he took an instant liking to him, wanting to look after him every chance he got and the baby boy took a liking to his older brother as well.

Over the next few years, Kieran set a good example for his younger brother, that when he was able to he followed the older boy around like a shadow looking up to him with everything he did. It was safe to say that Kay was basically Kieran's best friend - that was until one afternoon when he was fifteen he was walking Kayden home from his first day of kindergarten when a gun shot fired and scared him half to death, but what scared him even more was turning towards his brother and seeing blood rushing from his stomach. He instantly began looking around in panic, only to catch his gaze with the one that shot his brother - a boy around his own age who was staring wide out in shock at the pair until an older voice came blaring to him and he quickly turned and ran away. It was a face Kieran would never really forget because after calling for help, it was already too late and his brother passed away in his arms on the way to the hospital. 

One morning a few months after the incident was when he discovered his power; he was sitting against a tree when off in the distance he heard a young boy scream and his gaze instantly turned towards it to see two older boys pushing him around. Before he could stop himself, he was up and marching towards them. At first they ignored him, until all of a sudden they went into a trance like state and let go of the boy, apologizing in the process - which was exactly what Kieran was telling them to do. He didn't know what was happening - Did he just control their minds? He shook his head and watched as the younger boy thanked him and rushed home.

He soon found out from his parents that he was destined to have an ability as they had one too; his father has electricity manipulation, while his mother has voice manipulation - he too found out that his great great grandfather had mind control as well as his older cousin. From that day on he began practicing his powers; using it to his advantage behind his parents back of course, but what he was mainly focused on was finding the face that was burned into his memory.

It wasn't until he was nineteen that he saw a set of eyes that seemed very familiar to him, the facial features as well; but he couldn't be too sure if it was who he was looking for or not as the young boy had matured and changed his look a little bit. It took about a year to finally realize that it was; following the boy around discreetly, often losing him for a few days to a few months, until he saw him again, he watched where he went; who he hung out with and finally he heard the same familiar voice that yelled out to him the day of the incident and that set him off; he followed the boys home, invited himself into their home and used his ability to get the young boy to kill his two brothers and himself. After it was all done and the rage wore off; he stood inside their blood filled lounge room in shock; looking around in horror at what he had done - it took him a few moments to come back to reality and rush out of the house before anyone could find out that it was him. He went home and now wears the guilt every day along with the pain of his brothers death. 

It took a year for sanctuary to find him after the incident, they had caught wind of what had happened, but wasn't too sure with who it was - it was when he was using his ability to help another kid who was getting bullied that a man approached him with a letter and after discussing it with his parents he accepted the offer and was on his way to Australia. He took a liking to the school, but kind of kept to himself quite a lot for the first year - not really wanting to get close to anyone, but soon began to come out of his shell the more time he spent in the school and now he can either being extremely friendly or completely rude, depending on how you approach him. He still also likes to use his power to his advantage of getting things he wants and doesn't really seem to care of the consequences. He also works in the foster home because the kids remind him of his brother and makes him feel closer to him.

User can control the minds of others with victims completely subject to the user's mental control. If the victims were placed into a semi-conscious state, they may not have any recollection of the previous actions that they performed while under its effect.

Bumped into her the first day of when he arrived and instantly got a earful of her attitude. She found out about his power and now doesn't trust him even more than the first day she met him. Even though she says she hates him, he knows she's only saying that. He's trying his hardest to be her friend without using his power and in a way it's working. It's a weird relationship. Just like Briar and Blaze.

River Montgomery 

He has run into her a few times while at the foster home looking after the kids, has spoken to her numerous times.

Jackson Martin

Knows him as the quiet bakery boy and only has had a few conversations with him, but finds him to be a pretty cool dude.

Just a little heads up in case you were wondering. If your character wants to go into the city using the Sanctuary charter buses. There is no bus fare as the school pays for it (I have edited that into the around Sanctuary section... and I know we still have to finish it, but kind of forgot about it. Whoops xD) Anywho just thought I shall inform you all. Oh! And anyone underage needs to be escorted by an adult for safety reasons and all that.. (will put that into the section as well, just for good measure :P)

Because the rest of them are either children who live in the foster home or they are adults. None of which would be living in a dorm. 

I haven’t added that yet, I know. That list was just roughly done. I’ll fix it up now.

Annabel Taylor || 15 || Air Manipulation || Year: 1st || FC: Lily Loveless || Taken

Biography:

As a child, Annabel knew she was special from the day she made a gust of wind swirl around some leaves on the playground on a windless day. Her classmates and her parents never took her seriously when she told them she had powers. After all, what kid doesn’t want to have powers? It wasn’t until Billy Kravitz pulled her hair her in the third grade that the other children started to believe her. Nearly in tears as she held her scalp, Annabel glared at Billy and without her consent, storm clouds creeped in from all directions on a day where the forecast called for 100% chance of sunny weather.

Not only did the other kids believe her, they were scared of her. Her classmates wouldn’t look or speak to her, her friends cringed whenever she tried to talk to them and even some of the teachers didn’t want to be near her. After weeks of complaining to her workaholic parents who were always to busy to listen, Annabel was transferred to another school. From then on, Annabel vowed to ignore her powers, telling herself that it was all just childhood folly and good timing.

That is, of course, until she got to high school where the academics were more stressful and she felt she couldn’t do a thing without being judged. Thanks to her experience in the third grade, she learned just how cruel her peers could be so she tried to keep quiet when possible and not to draw too much attention to herself. The facts that high school counteracted her isolated demeanour and the schoolwork itself stressed her out to a point where she struggled to ignore her powers.

Annabel could now momentarily shift the direction and speed of falling snow and rain, but there were also consequences to having powers that she hadn’t learned to deal with. Whenever she was especially stressed, she would unknowingly remove a portion of her supply of air, causing her to struggle to breathe until she went outside where she automatically felt calmer. There was also the matter of stirring up wind around her when she walk or ran that she could usually control unless she was in a hurry, in which case, items as heavy as water bottles would fall to the floor. It was when Annabel swore she could see and move air molecules if she really focused that the Sanctuary found her.

User can create, shape and manipulate air surrounding the planet Earth that is retained by Earth’s gravity, and wind, movement of air relative to the surface of the planet. It is an important factor in determining and controlling climate and weather, and the generating force of most ocean and freshwater waves. Wind occurs because of horizontal and vertical differences in atmospheric pressure, and include breezes, squalls, gusts, whirlwinds, zephyrs, gales, tempests, and hurricanes.
