i opened twitter to look at smth someone sent me and I poked around (bad idea) and under one of the trending tags someone was saying "people these days say you can't even identify with white culture and that white people don't even have a culture" uhhhh if "white people" have a culture I would like no part in it, I have other cultural identities like being gay or autistic or being descended from Irish and English people and carrying their cultures with me today. like- i'm sorry like what is "white" like the only thing I can recognize as an explicitly white person thing is racism itself, my cultural food, dance, art, accent ect are not related to me being white, like sure most of the people who i'm descended from are white but the colour of their skin really did not influence the culture they created (there were never slaves where I live so maybe its different in places where they had slaves but honestly idk but even still that is not an all white people thing)

i get a pretty bad stutter from certain medications that I have to take pretty often and honestly I don't mind I my friends do it especially if its a word I was really stuck on for a while, I also don't really mind if people have a giggle about it from time to time. everyone is different and its important to ask individuals what their boundaries and preferences are

It’s incredibly disrespectful. You’re basically saying that you don’t have the time to ‘waste’ on us or what we might have to say. Plus, you’re shoving words in our mouth and you are not letting us talk for ourselves.

We’d complain about it more when it comes up in our lives but… speech impediment. Schooling you on your bullshit behavior isn’t worth the time and frustration it would cost us just to string together the two or three sentences required to tell you off.
