I can't update links or anything on my blog cause right now I only have access through my phone and my laptop is packed away from moving still but I'm thinking of starting back up with my writing. I've got a different job now and the good thing about it is I have a lot of down time.

I'll try to sort through the requests I have but since those are pretty well old, I'm not sure if the original requesters are still even around so I'm still debating on doing those. Which again, I apologize to anyone who did request long ago.

Once I have my bearings and my blog is up-to-date, I may just start up again. 💛

Love was something you had mixed emotions about your entire life. On the one hand, you were a complete hopeless romantic. The idea of a man coming to save you on his white horse and falling for his dreamy eyes was something that played in your mind often. On the other, you believed love was non-existent. It was a false hope; wishing that a man was actually going to sweep you off your feet and give you butterflies for the rest of eternity. You had learned by watching others, your parents more specifically, that eternal love wasn't real. You had watched them fall out of love each day as you grew up until they parted ways and since then the thought of giving your heart to someone had terrified you completely. Love was an illusion, until it wasn't.

You had initially met Saul Silva your first year at Alfea. He was your fencing instructor, and would be for the remaining years you attended the fairy school. That, however, was not what had started your love for one another. When you graduated Alfea and started working in the library of the school, that's when things really changed for the two of you. The time you guys spent together had increased on the daily, eventually to where each of you weren't typically found without the other unless you were working. No longer did you view Silva as your professor, but someone you could confide in. And to him, you weren't a student anymore, but someone he held close to his heart.

The first time your feelings for Saul were brought up was when Sky had nonchalantly mentioned the way you look at him; the way your eyes gleamed with a certain brightness any time you and Saul were in the same room together. The second time was when Sky had "accidentally" mentioned said look in your eyes to Saul. He claimed it just slipped out in the moment but lucky for you when Saul heard those words, that was all he needed to push him into letting you know of his same feelings for you, opening a new door to your relationship.

Currently it was the start of another school year and also the six month mark of your official relationship with Saul. This meant the two of you would be fairly busy and with the whispers of the Burned Ones showing back up, it was hard to tell what the year would bring.

This caused a slight pang of worry within you. You knew Saul was completely in love with you but knowing the issues that came with less time together and being preoccupied with other obligations, you couldn't help the anxiety it caused. Moreover, each time that worry set in, Saul gave you a reason each time not to fret about it. Even though you never brought it up, it was almost like he could read your mind and put you at ease every time.

Like in this moment, the two of you were laying next to one another, the ember of the sunset glowing through the opened curtains of the small room you two stayed in together. The worry of you not spending time together was replaced with a worry of what would come tomorrow. There was a plan set in motion to move a Burned One that had been captured days before and being that Saul was the Specialist Headmaster, he was tasked in helping a squadron to move it to a more secure location. The Burned Ones were dangerous and even with an army, it was a massive risk.

You felt Saul's fingers intertwine with yours, your thoughts dispersing in that moment. "What are you thinking about?" he whispered softly, always seeming to know when you were in deep thought about something. You didn't want to speak it aloud, chances were he already knew what you were thinking about. But saying it loud made it more real. "I know you’re worried about tomorrow," he spoke up again. "You needn't be, love. I will come back to you." His sentence was matter-of-fact and if it weren't for knowing just how dangerous the situation was that he was walking into, you would believe him.

"You better come back to me," you vocalized, your voice quiet as you turned on your side to face him. A smile appeared on your face as you noticed he was already gazing at you, a murmur coming from him. "I love seeing your smile." It was a sentence that held a lot of meaning to it, and you couldn't help but smile even wider, your cheeks instantly feeling warm. "You're a softie," you pointed out, a giggle coming from you as he pulled you closer to him. "A softie only for you," he countered, his arms tightening around you as he quietly mumbled an 'I love you' in your ear before his lips formed a kiss on your forehead.

You weren't sure what tomorrow would bring but in that moment love was no longer an illusion. It was something real; something you finally had and it was never really going to go away.

(2.22.21) Okay guys, I am finally home! 😭

I know the requests are backed up but please bear with me and my slowness. I’m going to work on them as I can but please keep in mind I’m always working so the times I get to sit down and focus on writing are far and few between. I’m not going to close requests but just keep in mind I’m at a much slower pace than other writers.

I’m going to try to get one or two out this week but I have a busy week ahead at work (as usual). Yesterday was my birthday and this Friday is my little sister’s so I’ll be at my parents this weekend probably. 💙

So I am staying at a coworkers due to the fact that she lives closer to work and more snow is coming. She lives out in the middle of nowhere and doesn't have Wi-Fi which means I can't post anything unless it's through my phone.

I didn't bring my laptop to just write because it was kind of last minute so that being said, I'll have to push back getting requests done. I'm not sure how long I'll be staying (hopefully just a couple days) but I'll keep you guys posted. 💙💙

I don't know about you all but today was just weird. Went to town (about 30 minutes away from where I live) with a couple friends to get some things we needed and would you all believe my friend's truck died in the middle of the road. After having been stuck for an hour, and someone taking us home, we took my other friend's car to go drop off the truck keys at the towing service that's back in town. Everything was okay but then we had to take our friend (whose truck broke down) to her house to grab some things so she could stay with us (because she doesn't have a vehicle now and we are supposed to get a bad snow storm). And what happens? The car gets stuck in the snow that's already been around for the past week. We were stuck for at least two hours.

But anyways, Happy Valentine's Day to us, right?! 🤣😅

I'm at work now but should be home tomorrow and may or may not get snowed in, so I'll try to find some time this week to get another request out. 💙
