Houseplants

Connor, after an investigation at an indoor gardener's house: Lieutenant, what is the purpose of houseplants?

So I was thinking

When Connor is trying to make small talk with Hank at the station, he brings up Knights of the Black Death, and how he "doesn't listen to music as such" but he'd like to. Then later on at the beginning of the scene where Hank is drunk on the park bench, Connor is sitting in his car with heavy metal music playing (which I assume is Knights of the Black Death). Did Hank leave the music on just so Connor could listen to it??? Because he remembered him saying that he'd like to??? Maybe I'm reading too far into this but like??? That's so sweet???
