Running around with hardly time to rest certainly made her exhausted, and hungry. Komaru had recently scored extra bullets and she hadn’t spotted any Monobots in the last ten minutes. So she crouched down behind a half broken wall to rest. Except it didnt last long. She heard movement and peeked over the wall, hoping it wasnt a Monokuma - and it wasnt!
In fact, a human!
Rather, a girl. ”H-hey! Over here!” Ko called out with a small wave.

”Huh? Admire me?” Komaru stared at Komaeda in disbelief. He, who was on the opposite side yet vaguely guiding her towards victory, admire her? She found that hard to believe! She shook her head to clear of that thought when the servant continued to talk.
Ot took the brunette a solid minute to register what the other said, but it didnt make sense. Half of what he said didnt make sense! ”Well, of course I like you!” Komaru stammered a bit as her face flushed, ”n-not like that! I mean, youre always just, I dont - “ She shook her head once more as she groaned, hands moving to cover her face briefly. Get a hold of yourself, Ko! She didnt entirely know what she felt for him aside from minor annoyance. Him creating this chase game!
“What i mean,” she tried again after clearing her throat, “is that you always help me. Or rather try to. You are trying to, right? I - I always just assumed that you would like the one youre helping!” Thats how she always saw it, anyway. Though with how things are going, she had no idea. He truly could be leading her to her death and she wouldn’t think hes that capable of.

Komaru panted once she caught up with the white haired male. She’s considerably lucky (and happy) he even bothered to stop for her this time. He had such a terrible habit to disappear in mysterious ways and she didn’t like that.
With a pant, she managed a small pout. Did he think this was part of the game as well? Making her lose her mind in hopes of catching him for whatever reason? “Don’t - dont give me that! You’re deliberately running away from me! Do you really not like me that much?”
That wasn’t what she had meant to ask but the words left her mouth before she had a chance to think. That was what she thought, of course. But she didn’t say anything else, just watching his face. Await his reply.
Servant inclined his head to the side slightly upon hearing her question, curious why she would ask that. It was amazing how someone like him, responsible for manipulating things and pulling strings behind the scenes in his twisted mission of aiding despair so that hope could overcome it, could manage to have such wide-eyed, innocent looks on his face.
“I don’t dislike you, Miss Komaru. Quite the opposite! I admire you. Even though you may just be a plain, ordinary girl, you’re well on your way to defeating despair. And if someone like you can do that, the light of hope that’s released should be magnificent.” It was… difficult to know how to interpret any of that. This is why you shouldn’t ask him questions.
“But… I’m surprised. I didn’t think you cared if I liked you or not. I’m not arrogant enough to assume that means you actually like me but maybe you don’t hate me as much as I thought.”

Photo

I’d like to get more into some liminal space photography. Liminal places are always something I’ve liked looking at and been interested in as soon as I found out about them when I was younger, so I think I’ll try post a bit more liminal content when I’ve got good pictures.
These photos are from early this year, when we were having a particularly foggy winter night. I took them from inside the house through the window. I edited the photos a bit as well, mostly so the lights looked less saturated and bright, also a bit of noise reduction. (Though not much, since it kinda makes things look a bit too blurry.)

"Don't look at me like that! I -i didn't do that, I swear it!" Komaru looked between the once neatly stacked pile of plates now lie shattered on the ground. She may be titled as a klutz but not this bad.

"Neo.. Aikido? I don't think I've ever heard that before, what's it like?" The brunette questioned from further curiosity before she blinked. Her, learn it? She didn't think she was balanced enough to learn, much less practice the arts. It was an interesting offer. "Um, well, I guess I could but I don't think I'd be very good -"
A small pause as a small, nervous chuckle left her. "Well, not exactly. My brother is a student! I'm just nothing special." For the most part. She didn't tell the other her 'gift'. "Say, maybe you know him! Or in his class. His name is Makoto, does that ring a bell?"
“Hey! Uh, um, er - “
Somehow making herself flustered, she hesitated before she tried again. “You seem like a pretty strong girl! How do you get so strong?”

Komaru watched her friend closely. She hated using Toko this way but Syo was quite a reliable source, especially when there are more enemies swarming the area than she'd like. She watches the chain happen, internally cringing. She gripped her megaphone tightly then once genocide Syo leapt out, so did she.
Already she could see, from the exclaim, that three monobots were alerted and headed their way. Immediately did the brunette set the hacking gun to paralyze and set out a bullet, stunning the closest two bots. The third was still coming and setting the break bullet, sent that at the last one. All up to Syo.
“ - I-I hate to say this, but I’m running low on bullets and I don’t think that was my stomach I just heard!”

"H-hey, I do not!" She's just denying the obvious truth. She did, in fact, make a lot of noise despite her attempts to be quiet! Komaru sunk down with a low groan, and she stared at Toko. "... Fine, I have five bullets and who knows how many are even out there. On the count of three..?"

"I, uh, I really hope not. I want to use her in emergency," she rushed out. Yes this could be an emergency like she said but there was something Syo that frightened her still. "Do - do you think we can sneak away?"

“Hey, you!”
Kormaru yelled out upon spotting the familiar white hair. Before she can lose him once more, she bolted towards the male. “Don’t you dare run away from me again!”

“Huh...?”
Komaru felt the air in the room suddenly turn cold. Her sweat covered skin turned chilled when she noticed. There was no window, no door that was open (it was closed, having just escaped a few Monokumas). Accompanied by the change in temperature, was a notable change of electricity. Something so familiar there was instant dread.
Oh no..not now!
One could pass it off as just paranoia but no, Komaru knew what this was. Who, or rather, what, was here, in this room with her. She wasn’t alone - she could feel invisible eyes on her, that followed as she paced the room in growing panic. This wasn’t needed, not after narrowly escaping the robots!
“Leave - leave me alone!”
The brunette called out, when the lights flickered off. A small cry of alarm left the girl’s lips and it’s then she ran towards the door to exit the room, but it wouldn’t budge. It’s like the door was locked, and she heard footsteps behind her -
A shadow loomed over the door she was desperately trying to open before ended up banging. Hard. There was rustling, followed by a deep growl as she felt a solid form just grazing her back -
“Let me out - let me out!!”
