So who am I? I'm what most people would call boring, but I like it. My life is just ironic I don't really like going out but I want to meet new people, I don't feel that good in my house but being outside...sucks, nothing better than making people laugh but my sense of humor's been broken for 16 years, I want friends but I push everyone away because there's no connection and I basically don't know how to interact with human beings, but wait, the most ironic part about me, the fact that I don't like cheese but I could eat pizza every day(no hate for that). I love learning "useless" stuff, like the longest word in the dictionary, the country with more timezones (it's not Russia, if you were wondering), or why Venus is the hottest planet ;) ok not funny (told ya). I could spend hours talking about childhood memories or funny stories and that'd be just as interesting as talking about existence and the possibility of time travel.

I'm writing this because today is my birthday, is like a get a chance to start a new chapter and think deeply about my life and what I really want. And all I want is to be me, and to encourage others to do the same, I'm done hiding who I really am just because it's not "the norm" but what does that even mean?

I want you to know that you're not alone, that no matter who you are or what you like, there's always going to be people that love you for that. You should never beg for love, if they cannot see who you are they don't deserve you. I'm sure you have an amazing personality and you should never hide yourself or pretend to be someone else because it's just not worth it.

No one ever tells us that it's ok to be different, but it is.

I tried putting this in appropriate words.I hope it came out well. I have been through this all my growing years..sometimes even now. I experience some people who genuinely smile for ominous reasons, after putting others down. Irreverence is no reliable substitution for a kind heart, it might get ROFL laughs and flimsy compliments but it won't get good friendships that last..I think. The loud shrieks of laughter fade out and the attentive audience flees to avoid becoming the next target of meanness disguised as humor. I can feel it.
