Not really 3.5 spoilers but mentioned so beware!!
I am. So. Not okay about Cyrene you don’t understand. Her memories are mostly that of Mem’s, which means she doesn’t have almost any memories of Aedes Elysia how it was in their shared with Phainon childhood. I cant.
The person Cyrene was before sacrificing her body and soul for Amphoreus is unknown by anyone but Lygus and Khaslana. She’s probably similar but she’s still inherently different. Cyrene and Phainon are the sacrificial lambs who will never be able to return to who they were. Cyrene is no longer the same person and will never have those memories, while Phainon has all those memories and that’s exactly why he can’t go back. It honestly breaks my heart because this way they can’t even grieve together properly because Phainon is grieving his childhood best friend while Cyrene is grieving a friend turned hero, just like the Trailblazer. Doing what they did has split their fates into parallel lines that won’t ever intercept. I ache for them so badly you dont even understand
The burden of knowledge and the burden of not knowing. The burden of dying and the burden of living.
‘Heartwarming story’ if they dont get a happy ending im going to shot up at hoyo’s with a bomb strapped to my chest

as the last link in the relay, i will return to the temple of the three fates, tell oronyx all of our stories, and bottle every page we've written into the little flask of "memories". and then...may it sail in peace...drift down the river of time along with the coreflame of worldbearing, reaching trailblazer's side, and lead you back to amphoreus.

A few years ago while trying to find ways to commit suicide as painlessly as possible, I came across a PDF of Dr. Paul Quinnett's The Forever Decision. Thinking it might go into actual methods of suicide (I read an article once that actually did that and was trying to find it again) I started to read it, and I think I only got about two pages in before I was crying too much to actually see the words.
I downloaded the PDF to my hard drive and I open it again whenever I'm feeling too suicidal to do much else, but not enough to start booking a ride to the hospital. And every time without fail I only go up to a few pages before backing off and choosing to live another day just because suicide suddenly seems even more unbearable than whatever the hell upset me in the first place.
All the book really does is [I'm pulling a summary from GoodReads here as, again, I've read no more than 5 pages] "discusses the social aspects of suicide, the right to die, anger, loneliness, depression, stress, hopelessness, drug and alcohol abuse, the consequences of a suicide attempt, and how to get help."
But it also starts with the author kindly asking the reader to complete the book before going through with anything, and for some reason I'm compelled to really just try to read it all before finalizing everything. Despite not yet completing it (hopefully never will) I think I can safely say it's saved my life at least a few times now.
It's intentionally legal to copy and redistribute this book to keep it as accessible as possible, and it's very easy to find, but here's a link for it anyways.

Picking out the first song to introduce someone to Florence + The Machine is such a task. It’s all uniquely Florence, but every song is so different. Like should I start them out on lighthearted hippy, forest fae, sad mermaid, spiritual warrior, upbeat suicidal, bohemian poet, religious blasphemer, murderess vixen, wistful ghost, or dark witch???

“no crew, no help, just pure hustle” cut to this poor woman bawling her eyes out. what the fuck is wrong with people? why is this being framed as a good or impressive feat? this person makes below poverty wages already. Burger King meanwhile takes in $27 billion in global revenue every single year. everyone involved in making this woman endure this should be tortured and force fed chicken fries until their heart gives out. fuck this country.
