Ever thought that Batman’s Rogues Gallery doesn't want his identity out?

Catwoman has a personal stake in it since she's his lover and such, naturally wants him as safe as possible

Scarecrow knows how Gotham fears him, he wouldn't want the greatest fear in Gotham to be destroyed.

Joker only exists to counteract Batman, he’s the chaotic evil to Batman’s lawful good. He doesn't want to know who Batman is, hell the times I've seen him even be confronted with the idea, he reacted violently or removed the opportunity altogether.

Harley- lets be real she doesn't give a shit

Ivy’s intelligent, deep down she isn't really… evil, more so hates humanity and wants a better future for the earth. She also knows Batman is probably the best person in Gotham, why would she want him gone? Hell he probably makes people scared to liter XD

Riddler probably knows, I think some of his iterations do… but he also knows Batman is a necessary force.

That's really all I can come up with since I'm not really a comic reader…

Also they definitely all know Joker would obliterate Gotham if Batman’s identity came out

Adding onto a post I made about Scarecrow…

I really love the idea that Jonathan KNOWS Batman’s identity and basically tells him he does, but he doesn't tell anyone else and Batman knows that. Crane is a scientist experimenting with fear, why on earth would he destroy Gotham’s greatest fear?

Why would he do that?

Hell, he’d know that Joker would kill him if he did.

Crane is incredibly intelligent, so he's not an idiot who would just brag “Batman is Bruce Wayne!!” because it destroys the mystery of who Batman is, the fear of what he is, and the fear he strikes into people.

Honestly, I loved GarretPuppet theory as much as the next person back then… but I will riot and break SOMETHING if the puppet isn't Charlotte in the movie. I really enjoy Charlotte as a character and I hope she gets adapted to the big screen.

Also, I’ll be fine if it’s not in the movie since it’s mostly a fan on interpretation… but I REALLY WANT Charlotte to wear the puppet mask and almost never show her real face, I want it to be PAINFULLY obvious who this little demon child is

So smth that might actually surprise people, I really like Batman. Always have.

A really long time ago I wanted to write a sorta collection of short stories about Batman and his rogue’s gallery.

I was thinking about Scarecrow because I got a bit hyperfixated on him, and this scene popped into my head of Batman being invited to Arkham to have a private chat with Scarecrow, Scarecrow’s not wearing his costume, just his patient jumpsuit, and he tells Batman to specifically ensure their conversation isn’t being recorded. And once he does that

Scarecrow just outright tells Batman he knows his true identity, flat out says his real name. And fucking forces Batman to have an honest to god therapy session, even citing a time that Harley tried to do the exact same thing.

It just gave me the urge to write it and make a Gacha design for Crane because I just started picturing Crane as being like insanely gay coded with his mannerisms and manner of speaking whilst Scarecrow is just low-key intimidating with his… everything

MASSIVE SPOILERS FOR DELTARUNE!

Touching back on my earlier theory that Rudy & Carol could both be The Roaring Knight and are actively working to find Dess.

There are only three plausible candidates for the Knight at this point in time

Rudy & Carol, because if it’s even one of them, it has to be both to explain specific things like who dragged Undyne to the bunker and who’s actually the Dark World Knight. And the fact that whoever Kris is talking with on the phone is clearly Carol since she shows up immediately after Kris calls her about Susie having the guitar.

Dess, obviously she's the main contender since she's the one character who fits all the boxes and is missing, but she's missing, how the heck is she just walking around town opening dark fountains??? Plus wouldn't Kris immediately tell Noelle they know where Dess is???

Papyrus. He is the one character we have nothing on in Deltarune aside from the fact he does indeed exist and is constantly in the house. Not only does Papyrus fit for the body type the Knight has, it’s reasonable to assume he’d adopt such a persona as “The Roaring Knight” given what we know he likes in Undertale.

It also makes sense as to why a dark world opened in the computer lab, which many point out at a reason the Knight can't be a Holiday due to Noelle being present. But Papyrus wouldn't know her.

Papyrus is also literally described in Undertale by Undyne as being really strong, which he even alludes to himself. It makes plenty of sense that he would be the knight and capable of dragging Undyne to the bunker.

Another piece of the puzzle, a little cherry or whip cheese to go on the weird black cake here… Kris and Carol are both working with Papyrus, Papyrus just wants to make more dark worlds because he believes that The Roaring would just make a huge dark world, Papyrus isn't evil so it doesn't track that he’d try to do something like end the world intentionally.

Kris and Carol both believe Dess is in a dark world, thus they start working with Papyrus to find Dess, maybe Papyrus doesn't want to ACTUALLY CAUSE the Roaring and that's why he keeps letting Kris seal the fountains and why the “mysterious voice” said Kris needed the soul. Since Kris themselves can't seal the fountains, only we can.

I wanna actually make a video about this insane crackpot theory about Papyrus being the Knight… probably explain a bunch more things there…

MASSIVE SPOILERS FOR DELTARUNE!!!

What if there’s actually 2 Knights?

So since we know The Knight HAS to be a Holiday at this point, I’ve been seeing most people say it’s Carol or Dess since they’re the two most likely candidates… but if we go with the idea Carol is aware of the dark worlds since she seems to be if that’s her on the phone in Noelle’s House…

We run into the issue of how is she at the house when the Knight is in the church? But then, why does Carol want Susie not to get the guitar code? I don’t think anyone’s entertained the idea that Carol AND Rudy are both technically the Knight. Rudy’s personality fits the Knight’s whilst Carol doesn’t, but Carol would have the strength Rudy doesn’t in the Light World.

(Going off a theory about Rudy!Knight from a YouTube video I saw the other day I can’t remember the title of)

So what if both Holiday parents are actively looking for Dess, and Kris is explicitly working for Carol and not Rudy, explaining why their relationship seems strained, meanwhile we know Carol has a better one with Kris. So why not entertain the idea Carol & Rudy are both actively looking for their daughter?

Example: Rudy kidnaps Undyne in the TV World, brings her to Carol outside the Dreemurr house, who then drags Undyne to the bunker whilst Rudy runs off before the kids come out.

Basically Rudy handles most things in the Dark World since he’s stronger there whilst Carol handles things in the Light World as Rudy is very weak there. Heck, he could even only be the Knight as of now whilst Carol was the Knight pre-Chapter 3.

Carol opens the dark fountain in the school and computer lab, whilst Rudy handled the one in the Dreemurr House and the Church one.

I do still think that the likely answer is that the Knight is somehow Dess but I honestly like this theory I cooked up a lot.

So a friend and I watched SOTM today

Spoilers below along with my first thoughts.

In hopes of summarizing what I know is going to get out of hand very quickly.

This game dies after Jackie’s section.

Both me and my friend agreed Jackie was essentially the best part of the game, and it is horrible how Steel Wool actively does this with their poster villains. Yes you can say that “Jackie was never the poster villain, the mimic was!”

Yes & No.

Jackie was the first costume/mascot/animatronic revealed for this game, she was all over the marketing, she was even built for Pax! Hell, she was even the main antagonist of the Pax Demo!

After an hour into the game, she NEVER appears again.

She suffers essentially what I like to call “The Dimitrescu Effect”, Lady Dimitrescu was basically the big ticket item for Resident Evil Village, the first villain revealed for it, she was the big focus of many trailers! Yet she came first and was rarely mentioned again. While yes that made sense for the game and was quite obvious she wasn't the main focus, it felt horrible to see her be over and done with basically a couple hours into a maybe 8-hour game.

So The Dimitrescu Effect is when a character gets marketed for the game to hell and back, but appears/is the focus for basically a short part of it.

I was extremely excited to see Jackie in the game but was thoroughly disappointed in how she was utilized, although a few horror characters suffer from this, what comes to mind right now is Catnap and Vanny. But if I talk about them that will dive down a deep AF rabbit hole

I was willing to excuse Jackie being a small part of the game initially as I could see it coming a mile away. But past the Big Top section, it all went downhill.

So my issues with the lore.

It sucks. To put it nicely. I could describe what I want to do to it but we’ll be here all night.

Early into the game I mentioned to my friend that Murray’s Costume Manor felt like what I imagined Afton Robotics to be like. And if MCM had been Afton Robotics, the game would’ve been…….. So much fucking better.

This game essentially ruins everything about the original series.

The springlocks? Edwin made those.

Monty & Roxy? Edwin made those!

THE PUPPET!? okay well to my knowledge he didn't make that but he had the plans or idea for it.

my friend made an excellent point that Edwin Murray is the most Mary Sue character ever, everything was made by HIM!

I can't be alone in thinking, Afton has a big ego and probably liked taking credit for things. But this is a whole new and frankly horrendous level. In the game we find communications between MCM employees and Afton that reveal he stole basically everything from Murray and his employees. Essentially boiling Henry & William’s impacts to zilch.

The only good original thing left for William is he made the funtimes, and even then that's debatable now!

This game is just… bad.

I don't think FNAF is heading in a good direction unless Steel Wool take a very long look at what they’ve done to the lore and story.

Unless they start taking criticism and listening to fan feedback, FNAF… is in short… doomed. Truthfully it has been for a long time… part of me hopes there's no more games after this, but I know there will be. Just maybe, they’ll be good. But I doubt it.

Secret of The Mimic essentially killed all hope I have for this franchise moving forward.

I’ll like sing a somewhat different tune tomorrow as I'm probably riding the fumes of hatred for this game, but this is basically my first thoughts I guess…

So I’m a little… uhhhhh… I wanna talk smth besides Purgatoria for a bit and Cookie Run is on my mind. So you guys get to see my GodAU design for Eternal Sugar!

Eternal Sugar in this AU is The God of Sloth, being a very calm and serene deity who presides over her cherished Shimmering Sugar Paradise, or Garden of Delights.

Note: a lot of stuff was done for her in the AU before her update released.

She is born from the Virtue of Happiness alongside Hollyberry Cookie, The God of Passion. She once traveled Earthbread alongside her sister, spreading stories of Hollyberry’s heroics accompanied by Eternal Sugar’s sweet music.

She is also the creator of Pavlova Cookie in this AU!

This is all I have for her rn as I haven’t had the chance to sit down and add things to her in the AU.

For context about the AU’s premise: The Witches first created The Five Virtues and then split them into the Lights that formed The Ten Gods, The Ancients who wielded the powers of light, and The Beasts who wielded the powers of darkness.
