Someone helped me get an additional $20, and I am super thankful. I need to get to at least $300 in order to take care of some basic essentials. If anyone can help it would mean so much.

I am waiting on a SSA decision about my disability. If anyone can help out, even just a little bit, that would be appreciated. If not, sharing this would help. I have only days to pull together enough funds to keep my bills paid. 🆘 Urgently Seeking Help to Stay Housed & Safe

Hi, my name is Scarlette Hellene, and I’m a transgender woman, a disabled artist, and a recent college graduate. I’m currently in a very vulnerable position and need community support to help me survive while I wait on disability benefits and try to stay housed.

🧠 Disabilities & Health Challenges

I live with multiple disabling conditions, including:

• PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression (mental health)

• Physical disability due to a scooter accident that left my shoulder unstable and painful, alongside arthritis and chronic pain that affects my daily movement and functioning.

These conditions severely limit my ability to hold a traditional job or work consistent hours. I do what I can—small amounts of DoorDash or freelance music commissions—but I can only manage that on my “good” days, which are rare.

🎓 Recent Graduation, No More Student Loans

I recently graduated, which means I no longer qualify for student loans. Unfortunately, this has created a financial gap—just as family support is running out, and I’m still waiting for my SSI/SSDI application to be processed. These approvals take months (sometimes years), and I need help to get through in the meantime.

💸 Monthly Expenses (Basic Survival Needs)

Rent: $1050/month

Phone Bill: $120/month

Debt: I have 3000 in credit card debt & thousands in student loans.

Groceries, Gas, Medical Needs, Debt Payments, Misc: varies but essential

I am currently struggling to pay even the most basic expenses. I’ve done everything I can to survive—cut costs, sold belongings, limited how often I drive—but without outside help, I am at serious risk of losing housing and stability. In addition to that, my credit cards are due and I am in major debt, my bank account balance is low, and debt collectors are coming after me to try to collect from me & my record label (Goth Girl Club Records) which isn’t profitable yet.
