NiGHTS into Dreams maps have a ground and a ceiling. On the tree you can see the connection between ground and ceiling map. Its crazy that this is made out of a height map with tiled textures. Amazing job by sonic teams level designers.

Cresent moon for the background. There is a full moon and a cresent moon that probably replaces the sun in the background at certain times? I havent noticed that myself in the game.
