Artwork from Welcome House 2 - Keaton and his Uncle (ウエルカムハウス2) for PlayStation, 1996
These were taken directly from the game files, but I think tumblr compressed them a bit, unfortunate

I have beaten the Pandemonium duology but unfortunately I didn't really take any screenshots, sucks because I loved them, especially the second game
pandemonium, along with tomb raider, were two games a school teacher talked about to me back in like 2010 I got to play tomb raider in 2022, and pandemonium 1 and 2 now if I ever see him again that's gonna be a nice chat he also mentioned how he found cool that the credits of pandemonium are essentially a level i wonder if it was one of the firsts (or the first) games to have "interactive" credits Damn, it took me 14 years to finally sit down and play them both

The morning sun has vanquished the horrible night. well, no one says that in this game, but I wanted to say it I have completed Tres-Bashers by ondydev! a fun metroidvania all about bashing cryptids, it was a great halloween pick! Be sure to open any locked door once found, I actually skipped some at first because I went exploring the rest of the level and forgot to open them until later on (I missed quite a few weapons), hell I got the ultimate weapon before many others, whoops the combat is simple but hard to master (I never learned how to send projectiles back consistently), it's important to use different weapons to spice up things, otherwise combat might become repetitive, there's many monsters after all I might check out the other games by ondydev, cuz this was pretty neat

I won't post images of every game i play because sometimes i might not have much to say I played Ion Fury a while ago, and I enjoyed it, i thought the level design was less confusing than Duke Nukem 3D I also played Super Mario Wonder and completed it, it's a very casual game, not particularly challenging but i think it excels at being a game for everyone, but there have been more difficult Mario games before for sure also sometimes i'll just randomly post clips cuz that was the main intent of this account anyway

played Bulletstorm (with Duke's Tour selected), I originally bought it on Switch but the aiming was quite awful with joycons and no gyro, I had to buy it on PC and play there instead the game wants you to be creative with the ways you kill your enemies, but I didn't find the gunplay to be much my thing, I did however kick a lot of enemies, that was a fun mechanic the story sucks, but Duke Nukem is hilarious I know the DLC is shoehorned in but i still found it funny Jon St. John's performance here was more solid than in Duke Nukem Forever also

recently replayed call of juarez gunslinger, this game is awesome, and boy does it look gorgeous! it's an arcadey first person shooter (not on rails), scoring is needed to level up and unlock skills, it's pretty engaging, and so is the story and the way it's told, this is one of the few FPSes I really like, I recommend it!
I played the Switch port, it's great! My only complaint is that the gyro in this game sometimes feels stiff and doesn't detect subtle movements, but I got used to it

I have beaten ICO, it was neat! I'm not huge on puzzlers, especially when they get confusing at times there's two or three situations like that in this game, and I had to look them up, but other than that it went well sometimes you need to take risks in order to prevail In the end I enjoyed the experience This game is one of the handful ps2 games that have a resolution of 240i, and because my PS2 is hooked up with component cables, I couldn't play it on real hardware widescreen patches were enabled for this playthrough

Bringing a tweet over here because i wanted to preserve my recent revisit of the Donkey Kong Country (and Land, minus Land 2) series of games, I love these games "After some years I've finally replayed the Donkey Kong Country Trilogy (and Land 1 and 3)! These games are amongst some of my favourites ever, it's been fun to revisit them!
And a photo of my Donkey Kong Land save too! Unfortunately the timer in the VC emulator bugged and so it displays the game as being played for 32 hours Realistically it was around 3 hours and half"
