now that i have made my house the safest possible place to hide from an omnipresent dream demon, surely the most logical next course of action is to take a road trip, thus getting as far away as humanly possible from said safe haven.

just came up with a banger dystopia novel idea while making a joke about capitalism to my brother science has found a way to bring people back from the dead, and the government is exclusively using it to keep people alive until they pay off their debt. So now you have these people who have been alive since the 21st century or so, who have been alive for hundreds or even thousands of years, living in misery and unable to reunite with their families in the afterlife, because they haven't paid off their debt.
