secondhand gender euphoria / trans joy is genuinely one of the greatest feelings in the world. the other day my wife and i went to walgreens to load a chime card, and the lady at the counter actually "she'd" luna -- the first time my wife has been gendered correctly in public by someone else without asking or specifying pronouns first. i could literally feel the combination of shock/surprise and happiness reverberating off her, and it was contagious. i love my wife so much
