the shifttok community has the energy of a clown car on fire doing donuts in a parking lot of an abandoned delusion. if shiftblr-ists are saying there's ranks on here, then tiktok is so fundamentally poisoned with hierarchy rot, popularity farming, and vague assertion echo chambers. everyone is either cosplaying or narrating their own wattpad trailer. only 20% people on there are actually shifting. they're just editing their drs. for six hours. daily. and i say this from my own 3 year experience. it's a part-time job with no benefits and a death clause. i would be on vs pro , editing daily and had literally forgotten to......do anything actually remote to my dr. affirming???? what's that

shiftblr isn't perfect (no platform is, this isn't the kingdom of heaven, it's tumblr dot com), but at the very least, we actually talk. you can disagree with someone without being told your subconscious is underdeveloped.

talk about them in general even if it's not a gush. share your favorite fun facts, talk about their source, or share some headcanons

find someone to roleplay your f/o for you

make a journal page dedicated to them

write them a letter (and maybe write a response letter from their perspective too)

listen to songs that remind you of them. you could also make a 2010s style AMV of them with that song
