Looking for Two Books I Read in Middle School. I graduated in 2012.

Google hasn’t been all that helpful so here I am.

First book is probably the easiest:

It was about a teenage boy who starts at a new high school and makes friends with another boy and a girl. Turns out the guy was raised by wolves as a child and he’s part of a study because he can remember his time there and still eats raw meat ect. The three if them learn that two of their classmates who are bullies and/or outsiders are planning a school shooting and try to stop them by befriending on of the boys. I think wolf boy is shot?

Second one:

This one is extremely similar to a popular book called Gregor the Overlander by Suzanne Collins, but it isn’t that one. In the book there’s a mom who is neglectful and/or scatterbrained, a younger sister who basically takes care of the whole family, a dad who is some kind of scientist/inventor who has either disappeared or disappeared shortly after the books start, and finally the main character, a teenage boy. At some point he finds himself in a secret, kinda steampunk underground city/society. There are mutated creatures and humans are split into two classes. The guy is forced to contribute and he winds up scavenging surface stuff in a dangerous junk yard with others and almost falls into a dark pit but is pulled back up because they are all tied off for safety purposes. He also meets a boy from and upperclass family who has a giant hairless house cat as a pet. The guys sister is actually secretly the daughter of a high ranking member of the secret police who keeps order underground and was some kind of spy? That’s all I remember.

Any help would be appreciated!

My mom and I had watched the Nun 2 the other day, so I suspect this is where this came from, but I just woke up from a dream where like this village or common was being terrorized by a smiling shadow demon, and I had teamed up with an ex sniper to try and hunt the demon, idk if he was also a priest or anyone who was qualified to hunt demons, but if it showed up you had to not look at it and hold your hand out like you were Swiper, no swiping, and you had to say a rhyme that was like, go away or whatever, but I made up one and the demon just kinda stared at me then it said that I had technically fulfilled the requirements so he was going to leave but he wanted me to know that the rhyme I made up was terrible. Then the dream randomly changed and suddenly I was at work talking to my manager…. On second thought maybe the demon lied and killed me when I tried to leave and I was immediately transported to Hell where I would have to work my grocery job for all eternity.

Concerning the Twitter crash and burn, there's legit people encouraging others not to engage with creators trying to promote things so that Tumblr doesn't become commercialized, and I have to make something very clear:

A small creator who is encouraging people to interact with/share their stuff, trying to make their art/writing/etc known because they want a livable wage when they have NOWHERE ELSE they can turn to anymore and are trying to succeed in an internet that makes it near impossible for them is -never- gonna be the same thing as a celebrity shoving adds into your face to buy their newest clothing brand.

Don't encourage capitalism but do encourage the artists and writers that provide you most of their content for FREE and just want to pay bills like anyone else and already deal with being buried in the algorithm or having their art stolen and reposted.

We don't want adds or for this site to be monetized either, I assure you.

So the US Interior Department is introducing a bill that will go before a subcommittee on May 12, 2022.

They are calling for the survivors and the descendants of survivors of the Indian Residential Boarding School.

If you or someone you know went to a residential school in the US, including Hawaii and Alaska, have them speak up. They’re asking for written testimony by May 26th. Even if you don’t know someone, please share these.

Not saying minority women aren’t heavily affected, but this is a woman’s problem and we should all take action and stand together. Just because some people aren’t necessarily helpful doesn’t negate people helping entirely. And who knows, for all you know they just didn’t know any better and were just trying to help.

Remember ladies, it’s almost Mother’s Day, so remember if you can absolutely help it, don’t go to work, don’t buy anything, don’t interact with the economy in any way. May 8th to the 15th. Do your best to do as little as possible. Iceland’s women only needed a single day to get their point across.
