as a femme i think it’s so important that we see and perceive butches not only as complimentary or opposite part of our identity, potential gf/bf, sex partners or lovers, but also as friends.

make butch friends without any intention beyond genuine friendship. hang out with butches, laugh with butches, talk with butches, take care of butches and let them take care of you.

we need to stop centring both our identity and butch identity around sex and love only. they’re our friends, family and the strangers in the street that brighten up our days.

Being a fat femme means that my body is inherently political. Every inch, crevice, fold, roll, curve, and stretch mark is political. Everything about this body is a political statement about love, growth, and defiance in a world that tells me I shouldn't exist. They will insist that beauty requires conformity and, as a result of that, self-hatred. That's why I strive to love my body more and more every day. Remember that the very act of self-love is one of the most radical forms of resistance.

getting up a little early on christmas morning to wake them up with some hot chocolate to make their day just that little bit brighter. spending the morning together just smiling at each other and laughing with each other as you open each other's gifts, referencing little inside jokes and being warmed by their presence as well as the thought and care that went into their presents. falling in love a little more each day but falling in love just a little bit extra today.

Friendly reminder that just because you’re dating a lesbian who dresses or acts more masculine doesn’t mean she likes to be treated like a man!

Unless explicitly stated when y’all talk about boundaries, if she enjoys that, that’s fine! However, if she doesn’t say that then please don’t treat your Masc partner like they’re a man!

I don’t know how many posts I’ve seen of fems treating studs, Mascs, etc. like men! Unless they want to be treated like that (which is fine by the way) then don’t do it! Please people, have conversations about boundaries with your partners! Uncomfortable conversations create comfortable relationships and communication

There has been so much negative discourse in the lesbian community lately and it’s honestly making things a bit overwhelming, and I know I’m not the only one who’s been seeing such negativity..speaking of! If I see any such negativity, you will be reported and blocked off my page♡
