So my question is "Is it worth it to work as an international nurse in the UK?"
Let's talk about this topic. Yesterday, I was speaking with one good friend of mine and this question popped up.
Early on, I had received this same question from one of my NMTC tutors whose encouragement and initiative ushered me to pursue my nursing career in the UK.
Actually, it wasn't difficult answering this question because I had looked into the good and bad sides of moving out of my comfort zone (place of work in Ghana) to a new environment (The UK)
I hope that the reasons I outlined in this video; https://lnkd.in/gzrUp9Hp help you make an informed decision about whether to pursue your career in the UK or look elsewhere.
Now, to say becoming a nurse or midwife in the UK is worth it, four in-depth considerations must be established;
1. Salary
2. Career development
3. Living conditions
4. Exploration of culture
Check the detailed explanation here; https://lnkd.in/gzrUp9Hp
#Salary
Besides career enhancement and good working conditions, one major reason most international nurses travel to the UK is to seek greener pastures.
Before finalizing your decision of working in the UK, ask yourself this question: will I be more financially fulfilled? Will there be an upgrade in my financial stability based on the salary I will be given?
See more detailed explanation with this link; https://lnkd.in/gzrUp9Hp
