Melban - obviously, this one goes kinda goes without saying for me. i absolutely love the dynamic between these two, and their shared history as well. they are both very much sick in the head and have so many issues they each struggle with, but at the same time they cant take anything seriously. there are countless interactions between them which are just so so homoerotic, if not just really sweet. these two quite literally will go to hell and back for the other without a second thought, and i adore that (say its bros bein dude all you want, you cant convince me they didnt fuck in purgatory and on many other occasions)

Elilaine - theyre like melban but less punchy, more of the "normal about expressing love for the other". i know there arent many deep interactions between Elizabeth and Elaine, but i just, once again, think that they have a really adorable dynamic and would just make for the most lovely couple (with equally deceivingly harmless looks, but very much the potential to whoop ass if need be)

Geldris - these two, despite canonically being just a straight couple, are one of the most queer duos in the damn series,,, they just are, man, idk. big fan of them both being very gothic and stuff, and obviously im a sucker for how much zeldris buckles at the knees for anything gelda does,,, love them

OG Gowther is one of my faves and i’ve never written headcanons for him so as my celebration for clearing the ask box I’m going to tell you my headcanons as canon only gave us CRUMBS

-Nakaba once said he ate frugal meals so I like to imagine he became a very good cook because of this. All he has is rice, chicken and beans? Ok well he’s gonna use doll Gowther to pick some herbs and spices and teleport them to himself because he wants some seasoning

-Has a potion cabinet with potions for every obscure need. Want to make somebody break into dancing for several hours? He’s your guy. Want to make somebody suddenly allergic to horses? He’s got that covered. Although he never has potions for things people actually need like healing or strength boosts. Actually he probably does but he fucks with people and doesn’t give them.

-A sucker for cheesy romance books but has to get people to proofread them for sex so that he doesn’t get punked by his commandment. They remind him of the dates he used to go on with his dear wife.

-Has a massive sweet tooth. Probably is the one who gave Merlin a sweet tooth.

-He doesn’t really get along with any of the ten commandments because he was kinda forced to be apart of them. He definitely has a soft spot for Derieri though and feels bad for Melascula and her blind faith.

-He probably releases Gowther from his magic and uses his invasion abilities to magical facetime with him so he has somebody genuine to talk to who he actually wants to have a conversation with

-He probably also magical facetimes Meliodas and is like “Yo look at this fat fucking rat I found in the prison should I make it think it’s a bird?” and Meliodas is like mid scrap so he’s like “Uhhh i’ll have to call you back bro”

-He appears elegant and sophisticated to people around him however in the confines of his prison he gets so bored he does the most unhinged shit like he probably used his illusion magic to make the commandments switch gender in his head to see what it’d look like or give himself a piercing and then heal it because he hates the way it looks

-Not being able to see daylight has led to him having the most insane sleep schedule

-He adopts every child with shitty parents. He is a single father to at least 5

-He wishes Zeldris would get closer to him so he could be a better father to him but Zeldris is too stubborn.

-Probably has a list of things he’d love to do when he gets out of prison with his son but knows deep down he’ll never achieve this.

-When the Demon King got him to become a commandment he retaliated and tried to fight him which is why he is bound to a wheelchair

-He has the same hair-changing ability as his doll and that’s why he’s so clean shaven and has such neat hair.

-He can sew!!! He made all his own clothes in prison out of like curtains and old rags that have been tossed down there.

-Idk why but I feel like he’s from somewhere overseas and ended up in Britannia because it has the most magic potential. I like to think he’s Italian.

-Glariza was pregnant when she died so he projects the unborn child onto Doll Gowther and genuinely loves him like a father. He’s like the stand in for his child that was never able to see the world.

Hello!!! I’m sorry it’s been so long!!!

-I like to think she’d be attracted simply to people who interest her? Do you have a rare curse? A genetic disorder? From a dying race? They probably met because she wanted to study them and caught feels.

-Merlin would probably be very ‘tsundere’ and not outwardly show affection (in public) however in private she is all lovey dovey

-Around others she’s like “What’s up?” and just talks to her partner normally in private she’s like “I named my experiment after you 🥺🥺🥺 do you like him 🥺🥺🥺”

-Probably doesn’t use conventional nicknames like ‘honey’ or ‘sweetheart’ she will call them “my unbreakable perfect cube” or “my favourite little specimen”

-Secretly loves when they call her conventional nicknames

-She looks for a partner who accepts her for who she is and not somebody who’d be super controlling and constantly on her case

-She will open up to them slowly and over time. They have to EARN her lore.

He plays the football on the TV and writes who’s playing on a chalkboard in front of the pub to draw more people in. Probably supports Millwall but lies to people about it because he doesn’t want to get beat up in his own pub

Diane: Claire’s. Never let this woman touch the piercing gun. Whenever she checks you out on the till she’s like “Ooh these earrings are stunning they’ll suit you so good” she always buys the blind bags and collects them all

Ban: Corner shop. Probably sells vapes to minors and gets them to call him bossman, but not intentionally he’s just drunk on the job (he drinks the 3 year old WKD that nobody has bought because it’s shit)

Gowther: Lush. Bro sells the fuck out of them bath bombs. He always smells like the shop. Escanor: WHSmiths at daytime, Puregym at nighttime. Bro has bills to pay so he’s constantly on the grind. At the gym he has no idea why people are working out at midnight but he’ll go and do it next to them just to flex.

Elizabeth: Probably still a waitress at the pub. Has to deal with rowdy footy fans all day with a smile on her face and she takes it like a champ. Doesn’t make the app orders late on purpose but they’ll still end up taking 2 hours to come somehow. She probably dropped the tray and had to remake it and then had to kick someone out. She needs her legally required 4 weeks paid holiday please 💔

Elaine: Primark. It’s the only job she could get and it makes her blood boil everyday. She hates the customers, she hates the cheaply made clothing. She is constantly applying to other jobs but she cannot get anywhere yet.

and in this fine 2024 i would like to confirm they absolutely fuck around with homes that have ring doorbells. Gowther will pose into them

Ban will hold their flatscreen TV infront of the doorbell and do a little jig

Meliodas will like look directly into it and then sticky tape a picture of crazy frog infront of it so that the camera doesn’t capture any footage.

King will be dared to say the most insane shit into the doorbell while breathing really heavily

Merlin will take the doorbell down and put it on charge in their home just to fuck with them

Escanor will get all awkward and be like “Oh… is this on… Hi! Um… This is awkward… uh… Please don’t call the police thanks”

Diane is always waiting outside for them and you can just see her standing there slightly off frame tapping her foot, texting on her phone, yawning etc

Elizabeth always does some police hacker shit and manages to remove the content somehow (through the power of plot convenience) but like once again my god how haven’t they been caught

i know this is supposed to be wholesome but i’m just imagining Meliodas being mad he has to pay like 20 people wages.

Like they’d all say it’s fine and they just wanna help but he wouldn’t allow for that because he cares for his staff.

oh my god imagine an AU where the Boar Hat becomes a cat cafe because of this-

Meliodas just one day realises that he could make hella bank from all of the cats he brings in constantly and so they decide to form the Boar Hat cat cafe.

He makes the waitresses wear cat ears (He tried to make Ban wear them too as the chef but Ban refused to wear them)

They still serve booze because Meliodas knows that tipsy people are waaaaay more affectionate and he plays on this to get tips. The minute somebody gets aggressive drunk though he throws them out.

Ban has to adapt his menu to be kitty themed. One minute he’ll be like “This is stupid” and the next minute he’ll make a caprese salad and made the ball of mozzarella into a cat face with two triangles of cucumber as the ears and come up with so many fun recipes. But he absolutely refuses to let anyone know he’s having fun in order to keep up the ‘Manly man’ act.

Gowther will mind control them teach them tricks in order to put on kitty shows!!! He has them leaping over tall things, dancing around and bringing condiments over to tables in order to gain a monopoly over the cat cafe industry somehow.

The cats are also attracted to Escanor’s heat so they’re also all over him in the daytime. Escanor names them all. Depending on the time of day it is the names are wildly different. You’ve got ‘Boots’ ‘Scratchy’ and also ‘Ozzy’ (short for Oswald the Slayer of Demonic Fiends)

Escanor is also the one that gets bullied into clearing all of the litter trays (there’s several)

Merlin will also try to bring in demonic, cat-like creatures in order to study them and see what they’d do in a restaurant environment and be like “cmon guys don’t be mean to Evelyn she’s basically a cat” and the creature is just staring with big, beady eyes and breathing heavily. It’s one pet away from causing manslaughter. She absolutely tries to fuck around and feed the cats potions and demonic remnants but after one breathed fire there’s a strict ‘No Merlin fuckery’ rule put in place.

King absolutely makes them little jumpers and onesies. Especially for occasions- Like on Christmas he’ll dress the chonkiest cat as santa and the rest as reindeer and elves. On the first day of spring he’ll have them all wearing little flower hats. At nighttime, they all have PJS on.

Him and Diane have little craft nights where they’ll fix up any furniture that has become a victim to claws and also make new scratch posts, toy mice filled with catnip etc. It’s mostly King doing the work but Diane loves to help because she loves getting creative.

King can also understand them vaguely and always knows their needs. He often makes other people tend to them though unless they’re sick. “Escanor, Fluffy is lonely can you play with him?”

Diane loves them all so much, in her giant form she’ll let them climb all over her. She’s a waitress however she’s bad at actually serving people because she gets distracted by all of the cats just begging for a scratch behind the ears.

Elizabeth is also 100% in love with the cats. She runs a service which allows people to bring their pets into the cafe if they’re sick and she’ll heal them free of charge. Elaine is able to help out and figure out the root of the problem too, being a fairy.

Just some besties and their hundreds of cats that their captain adopted by being warm-

I think that cats would love meliodas due to his hellfire/hellblaze making his body temperature really high. Just laze around on him like a heated blanket. He has like 10 cats and he purchased none of them. Just sauntered on in and found a giant free hot water bottle that dispenses food and was like yeah I live here now.
