Reason for my absence

I might as well say it now because it's been too long since I posted anything and I really had big plans for the fanfics and there were a lot of things I wanted to research about a specific fanfic but I'm not able to do anything as of now.

So, I got into law school. The thing is that attendance is mandatory and it takes me 2 hours to travel to college, one way. I leave home early in the morning and come back at night. After that chores around the house and assignments take up most of my time.

After I come home, I already have less than three hours until I have to go to sleep because my body cannot function without sleep. I'm stuck into a routine that I hate and i can't change it.

You might see my asks often on @artytaeh 's blog, you should check her out if you haven't. She makes harry potter content and she is an absolute sweetheart. Reading her works and talking to her really brightens up my day.

I'll go back to writing soon, hopefully. Take care of yourself, ya'll.

Are you Turkish? Asking cause of your username 🤭

Ah no, I've been asked that before and unfortunately, I'm not Turkish. I went through a phase trying to learn different languages like a few years ago and then never got to finish actually learning them because of personal stuff and because I tend to keep myself abnormally busy cause I can't handle being bored.

I know a little bit of Turkish, i can understand snippets of conversation but I'm not so good at actually speaking it. Frankly, My accent is abhorrent. It was the language I spent the least time learning but it honestly, I feel in love with how beautiful this language is to the ears especially to me and the culture is very interesting. So, I wanted to keep a little part of it for myself in my life.

The answer might be different from what you expected anon but I hope I didn't disappoint you and i would love to see you in my inbox again ❤️

i had a thought today.............

what if mc literally created caleb? like what if when she was at the research center she was scared and alone so she unknowingly created a companion? a bigger, older brother figure to protect her and keep her company. that's why he's so intense about keeping her safe and protecting her, it's literally why he was created. and that would explain why we don't know anything about his parents and why he's subject 002, he's literally a creation of subject 001.

Was gonna cook up a headcanon about this specific line but I've had enough angst for today

Caleb and his "did that help you calm down?" changed me as a sentient being and I've never been the same since.

Just read a pretty great drabble/fanfic about Caleb but the way he is described only as someone who cooks, cleans, provides for reader with his stamina being good and dick being big, just made me a little sick.

To me, Being in love would be like a feeling of returning home after a long time, spending time hanging out with old friends, sitting infront of a warm fireplace in the cold winter, cuddling up with your pet, the feeling that everything is going to be alright and no matter what happens, you'll be okay. That is what love is to me and that is why I am so attached to Caleb because he represents that.

Maybe it's just me because Caleb's character is literally my main and comfort character to the point that I haven't even bothered in doing/choosing other love interests for event games and other things.

I sometimes feel like people or some players of this game dumb the characters down in sexual/romantic context. I have seen plenty of stuff about Sylus being this dark romance male lead type of guy or Xavier being sleepy and lazy all the time to Caleb being described as a dog, which is not true at all.

There are multiple flaws and traits in the love interests of love and Deep space along with the MC that makes it such an interesting game for me and a lot of other people.

Maybe, I am being a hypocrite because I feel like in my fanfic about Caleb, he is very much portrayed as a comforting figure. And that is honestly my perception of Caleb atleast before the chip in his brain and everything. And because the game is very catered to women to express their sexuality.

That is in no way wrong but removing every aspect of a character so you could dumb them down to this caricature of thoughts and ideas to fulfill your fantasies just feels wrong.

I am not telling anyone to not be sexually/romantically drawn to these characters, because I myself am really attached but to at least make an effort to keep their core values and ideologies intact.

Fairy Helpers

The idea of fairies being helpers in wizarding families instead of elves as slaves

In a lot of folklores, elves are known to prideful- their hubris being the most common trait in their kind along with beauty. Known as "god-like" in Norse mythology.

I always found it very hard to believe that elves would ever let themselves be treated this way along with other magical creatures in the world of Harry potter as someone who grew up reading folklore.

I thought that fairies as helpers in pureblood households would be a much better alternative.

Manors and homes of Wizards being decorated with lush plants that are charmed to stay evergreen.

Harmless pranks pulled by fairies on the members of household.

Children and Parents making small fairy houses and hanging them around the manor of fairies to live in

Pureblood children being taught fae etiquette from a young age to make sure there is mutual respect between the members of the families.

Actual contracts being made with fairies for their help and fairies can leave with their own will if they feel insulted or mistreated.

A/N: I know this is very short, I will add more things when I get more ideas. Joanne or J.K Rowling has a habit of making most if not all magical creatures in the Harry potter universe, foolish in comparison to Witches and Wizards. She has portrayed almost every creature along with non wizards inferior to Wizards such as Muggles, squibs, elves, goblins, giants, etc. According to the Harry potter wiki, fairies possess diminutive intelligence, something that I do not agree with which led to this post being made.
