He doesn’t think she’s accept some person setting her up but her follow-up has his eyes widen. He feels the tail of Ampharos nudge him forward a step as eh clears his throat. Did…did she just say what he thinks she did?

Was there some problem? Should he not extend a hand if necessary to her? Overlooking his comment entirely he is too focused on what was suddenly ailing her. Did he say something wrong? Every word was meant in its fullest.

     “…do you need medical attention? You’re redder than a tomato and I’m not entirely understanding why. Yes my offer to stop in if you require anything or should you wish me to set you up with someone who can see you for you. As I said I’m not entirely close with these people but I wouldn’t recommend them if I wasn’t sure.”

Petting the Goomy in his arms he steps forward and offers it back to her. Perhaps it’ll break whatever spell has taken over her? Looking over Ampharos seems to being having the time of her life still so that’s nice.

she huffs, trying to get herself to calm down. really, she shouldn’t take him up on that. she doesn’t like the thought of blind dates. what if the person in question isn’t compatible with her and she has to leave through a bathroom window? she would gently take the goomy into her arms, but it seemed to be more interested in slowly moving to the top of her head.

But with the other’s indication to come in, he felt almost bad for even suggesting that he was hungry. Still, he shuffled into the building, upon her invitation.

“Yeah. Somehow I can navigate th’vast deserts o’ Orre but out here… Ugh. I’ll need a month or two t’get sorted. Um, yeah thanks for invitin’ me.” He seemed to get noticeably a bit more unsure of himself when the first sentence ended and the second began.

she waves a hand and shuffles past him to the kitchenette. she was about to make lunch anyway, so why not have a guest? even if she believes she’s god-awful at conversation.
