It's definitely less of a like and more of a tolerate for the most part, but it's because said player is quiet and, frankly, not a threat. Scared him off the first couple times, but he just would not stop coming to the Deep Dark. But this player wasn't loud or irritating or anything like most of the players Tyridis' had met, so he basically just decided fuck it and started ignoring him for the most part.

But when that player ended up running to him for protection? Well, maybe he ended up more fond of him than he realized

He does! Most of his friends are nibble-able to him, but Vehimen's favorite is definitely a little cat duder (an OC of a friend) that he made friends with against all odds. They're a nice warm weight and the purring is a solid bonus.

I don't think he has a preferred prey outside of his friends, but he does have a tendancy towards smaller prey. He likes to be able to fit them comfortably!

So remember this post? Yeah, well. I’ve been thinking about it for the last month and a half since I made it and. Things happened.

This is Jem. My squishy little lamprey man. He's grumpy, standoffish, and generally stays away from people. He's rather bitter over being an invasive species. "All I wanted was to be wanted" vibes, blended nicely with "STAY THE HECK AWAY FROM ME" vibes. He's got issues.

I actually had so much fun with these- lots of character development and thought *wiggles*

So the very vaguest of backgrounds that doesn’t spoil anything; Favyn and Furough are Sasha’s parents, and Charlie raised Favyn.

Charlie (her only other friend(/mom) besides Furough), doing Vynnie’s hair.

If she were an animal, I’d say she’d be a cougar because she’s a very skilled hunter and fighter, tends to isolate herself except for a few select people, but also makes for a protective, attentive, caring mother. Very soft. Big purrs. (also other reasons that will be learned later)

And as for her job, she’s spent the past sixteen years looking after her son (Sasha’s probably around four or five here, clicking rocks cuz they make nice noises), and generally working with Furough to keep them from being discovered by humans.

Silver, he's a big bad pirate, probably no stranger to eating his enemies as a threat, to keep them quiet, or, y'know, silence 'em for good, if you know what I'm saying

Same with Scroop, same absolutely goes for Scroop, hell he'd probably get pretty sadistic with that shit. But I won't go into too much detail on that lmao bc that's not the type of vore I write about on this blog

Silver's stomach is probably pretty cushy, and loud, with a big, strong heartbeat and whooshing breaths, but also, more subtly, mechanical whirs, maybe some beeps and clicks. Especially when he moves. Could probably tell if there's something wrong with his prosthetics from in there, if you hear creaking or grinding, though I'm sure he can also hear/feel that himself anyway. And if he has to use his arm cannon, oh gods, cover your ears. At least it's somewhat muffled, but it's still in point blank range

Scroop's? Cramped, uncomfortable, you can hear all his clicking and scuttling, he probably has pretty crustacean-like innards. Heart(s) in the back, nerve cord in the front, maybe a crop? 99 times out of 100, though, you're uh. probably gonna die;;

I imagine Mr. Arrow would have a pretty rock-solid tumb (ba dum tss). Still some amount of give to it, though, like just a really firm mattress. Not too loud in there. He's very professional, and would probably only eat someone to protect them, but he does have his soft moments. He probably would've eaten Captain Amelia at least a few times in the past, if she were injured/incapacitated in combat, but maybe also sometimes as an act of platonic bonding?

Doctor Doppler, 100% a nervous pred, constantly fussing over his prey, asking them if it's alright in there, comfortable enough, checking if they need anything, etc. Very soft and cushy in there, mans is not a fighter lmao. Stomach probably grumbles a lot from all his nerves

Now, Jim, perfect prey material. We know he overworks himself when he's trying to impress Silver, or when he's. ridden with guilt. Perfect opportunity to give that boi a forced break (and/or comfort him for the latter scenario)

However, I have like. one solid TP fic idea, and I don't know if I'll ever write it and you know I get way too eager to share my fic ideas and WIPs, so here's a summary

The scene where the pirates are all discussing the mutiny, and accusing Silver of going soft, but Scroop successfully finds Jim and pulls him out of the barrel. Silver, panicking a little, swipes Jim away, and to prove he's not "gone soft," gulps the terrified cabin boy down.

Jim, of course, is scared, and angry, and betrayed, and genuinely thinks he's going to die. Silver's not helping at first, playing it up, going into how the boy means nothing to him and soon he'll be "taken care of," gone without a trace, maybe slapping his belly for emphasis

And then as soon as all the other pirates are out of earshot, he's rushing to tell Jim he'll be fine, Jim is obviously not having it, and Silver's like "Jimbo, stop strugglin' lad, they need ta think yer dead, I've got a plan. Trust me. Please."

What happens from there? Phuck if I know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'm sure it would throw off the whole plot though

How we feeling about the new biome, The pale Garden? And it's new mob?

I think it's super spooky! The Creaking's mechanic with the heart is neat, and I like the particle effects that they added. I really hope they add fog or something though, I feel like that would push the Pale Garden to be something straight out of a horror game. A custom animation for the Creaking would also be good, it looks a little awkward where it's at now

I think as a player personally, I'm probably the most excited for the new moss though X3

But hi!! I'm Naess :3 This might be my pinned post for a while, so I'm gonna lay some stuff out.

First, this blog is specifically a chill space for me to vibe and peruse things I like. In that same vein, I don't care if you interact with me even if you like things I don't! You're free to chill here.

Second, I'm honestly not down with all the hating and DNIing and exclusionary shit that's happening. If you don't like that for whatever reason, that's okay, curate your experience, but I will not be partaking. I like to assume positive intent, and I might get some blocks for this, but here we go: Adult or minor, sfw or spicy, fluff or gore, whatever it might be—you're fine here. I won't chase you off with a stick, I won't harass your ask box telling you this isn't a community for you, I just want to hang out with people who like what I like.

And I feel like that should be easier than it is right now. So as long as you're chill and respectful, I'm chill and respectful.

Quick little thing about what the 'soft vore' and 'safe vore' tags actually mean

Recently I've seen some folks assuming the 'soft vore' and 'safe vore' tags are exclusively cuddly and nons3xual, so I feel like it's important to let you guys know they're not. Soft vore just means prey is swallowed whole, not that they'll live. Safe vore can include fearplay, blood, injuries, and even mild digestion so long as the prey survives in the end.

I understand the assumption that the tags are exclusively wholesome since most of the nonsexual community (including myself) use them and that's perfectly fine, but they're really just descriptors that tell you what the post contains. You can have digestion in the soft vore tag since the two aren't mutually exclusive, and sometimes a story or art piece might even contain both soft and hard, or safe and fatal vore. Explicit material can also exist within the tags, because 'safe vore' and 'soft vore' have no inherent nons3xual connotations. Now that's not to say there isn't an issue with tag spamming or mistagging in the vore community, and for that all I can say is filter tags and post content as liberally as you can and use the block button frequently. It sucks to see triggering content, it really does, especially if it's untagged. I recently had to deal with some pretty bad stuff myself, so I understand. But at the same time, the vore community contains a lot of people whose tastes may not align with yours or fit neatly into specific boxes, and that's okay! Just filter and block where you can.

There ARE new tags that some members of the community use for exclusively wholesome nons3xual vore and that's awesome, but soft vore and safe vore are not, and never really were, those tags. Tldr; Soft vore and safe vore are just tags that tell you if there's chewing or not and if the prey lives or not. They're not exclusively fluffy, they're not nons3xual, and they can be paired with more violent tags if the content contains both themes.
