A few years ago, I was asked by the NHL to paint the program cover for their annual Winter Classic game. I had never actually gotten a copy of it until recently. The game took place at Michigan Stadium and holds the record for the highest attendance of any NHL game at 105,000 people. The original painting was 3 feet x 4 feet tall and was done with acrylics and colored pencil on canvas.
