in an ideal universe Pacific Rim: Uprising has Mako and Tendo in charge (Herc definitely would’ve stepped down, that’s one of the few things they got right) and Raleigh is still alive albeit retired. we deserved that. robot-kaiju hybrids? sure. but i need tendo and raleigh and herc to at least be mentioned.

I know we technically got blueprints of all the Jaegers that detailed their power unit, escape pods, etc., but every day I wish we had really in-depth and close-up sketches of smaller parts of the joints/fingers/spine. what I would give to see the design difference on the arms of Crimson Typhoon in immense detail.

I think the most difficult part of the f1 fic has been finding enough male characters to make drivers ngl. grasping at straws here. never thought i’d be using zeke amarok and the tunari brothers for a fic but here we are 💀

on a side note, even though i’m not sure how yet, i am DETERMINED to get teenage chuck in here and he will have the fattest crush on Raleigh bc i say so.

the problem i have with writing fics is that i get WAYY too invested. all i needed for this f1 fic was a baseline for team scores and the drivers, yet i now have a summary of every race of the season, incidents and penalties, and the score changes for both teams and individuals. i don’t even NEED the first half of the season ?????

He hasn't been in a Jaeger since the death of his brother but he meets this woman, she kicks his ass, they experience each other traumas. Idris Elba disapproves of the entire thing. Only straight couple in existence. Any other movie they would have kissed at the end on that raft.
