Loving yourself.

Accepting yourself.

And that runs deeper than just my sexuality.

It runs deeper than my gender.

It’s everything that is me, that has ever been denied as acceptable for anyone else.

You’re healing every time you

get out of bed because there’s something you’re excited about.

don’t think about people who left.

clean the clutter in the room and dishes in your sink.

smile at yourself and random people.

do something kind and out of the blue to make someone happy.

work out or meet with friends even though you have no energy to.

calm yourself down when your thoughts race.

remember to drink water.

don’t dwell on things you can’t control.

do things good for yourself, even though you have no motivation.

tell yourself that you’re growing from this, and you won’t feel like this forever.

I think a lot of people go after broken people because they don’t think they are worthy of someone with confidence and self love. Then they end up feeling like a burden or like they are holding that confident person back. And that’s why they say you can’t love someone until you love yourself. Because you’ll always be busy beating yourself up for not being good enough. And that won’t water the plant it will kill it. That’s how self sabotage happens. That’s exactly how you manifest the damage you believe you are going to cause. If you find someone confident let them choose you. And believe the reasons that they give you for choosing you. If they were able to love themselves then believe me they know what they are doing when they choose to love you too.
