I had to give up on my old FaceBook page. Unfortunately due to some issue with an old Business profile I used to have, but no longer exists, but still has a majority of my page's control, I have to start a new page and shut down the old page. YAY!!!! With everything going on this year, I have been so looking forward to ART FIGHT!!!! YAY!!!!

And as the dinosaur I am (as per what my kids call me), I am on TEAM FOSSILS!!!!

I try to revenge every piece done for me. I will attack Team Crystals, and friendly fire on Team Fossils. I am gonna try experimenting with some new styles and will try to expand some of my skills while doing the fight this year. So come on everyone and lets have a blast.

Life Update June 25, 2025

Hey Everyone, here's a bit of a mini update. Currently still living in the hotel. Not much has happened since I last updated at the start of the month. Trying to form new normals and working through things. Insurance is still dragging their feet and we're awaiting them to give approvals for part of the restorations before the restoration can start. So unfortunately not a lot is happening. On a personal note, my youngest just finished his Grade 9 year at high school and has made the honour roll. I am so proud of him, especially due to his struggles with school in the past due to his Autism. I am so proud that he tried so hard this year.

And my eldest is loving his current job at a nursing home as a Dietary Aide. He loves the job, the clients and the stability of a predictable schedules, benefits and days off. Hubby is still on medical leave due to his mental health issues. He was on the better track until this happened with the house , and now, it's taken his care backwards and he's off longer. But he's trying his best day in and day out. And I am proud of him for trying to take care of his mental health.

As for myself, I am working on the Pride Month Commissions that I currently have. And am getting so excited for Art Fight!!! GO TEAM FOSSILS!!!!! LOL, I just had to pick fossils since my boys keep saying I'm a dinosaur. LOL, so fossils made sense. I'll continue to keep you all updated as I have updates. hope you all enjoy your summer can't wait to see you all in Art Fight this year.

Life Update June 8, 2025

Hey everyone, I'm not very good at updating constantly and I do apologize for all of that. I was just wanting to send everyone a status update of how things have been going lately and why I've been a lot more quiet lately then even my normal quiet. Since March 30, 2025 after a huge ice storm in my area, my family has been displaced from our home after our basement apartment section flooded. We had a massive power failure that didn't get restored until a week later. And because our home is rural, we have a pump system for our sump pit and sewage, and when we lost power our basement began to flood with water and sewage. My boys for 16 hrs tried bailing the water from the house with me while their dad was in hospital after falling the night before on ice while trying to move our vehicle to prevent damage from possible falling branches. After 16 hrs of trying to prevent the unpreventable, we had to give up and packed what we could, our kitties and fled the house. And for about a week we were with my family until power was restored in our city and we found a hotel locally. So since April 4th, we've been living out of a hotel while insurance tries to take care of the issue. So it's been two months now, and our basement as been gutted and we are still awaiting the renovation to start. And we haven't been given any updates on how much longer we'll be out of our home. So unfortunately because of that, art has been slow to get out because we've been so busy with insurance, running around and trying to clean up our yard. We lost about 50% of our trees after the storm due to falling branches and our yard still looks like a disaster. There's a lot of work that needs to be done. I am creating, it's just been harder due to what has been happening. I thank everyone for supporting me and my family, and understanding the difficulty of this time. Hey all,

Sorry for the long silence. Since March 30, my family has been displaced from our home after a major ice storm that swept through our area. It was so bad that our city had to declare a state of emergency. And our basement, which was our main living space, was flooded with six inches of water. So it's been two weeks since then, we're currently living in a motel, and will be here another two weeks (at a minimum). Insurance has been by and a lot will need to be done to get our place back into order. I'll keep you all updated as time goes on.
