hey so I read that "meet the artist" thingy that kill or be killed zine posted about you and they mentioned you're working on something called HAMAMA!

Can you share something about it?

Forgive my foolishness as it arises but I don't get many opportunities to indulge in things such as this.

Go beyond the line of azure blue if you dare as I explain the manga I am working on.

WHAT IS THIS THING? WHAT'S ALL THIS THEN?

HAMAMA! is a manga that I've been working on since November 2023, releasing the first chapter back in January (under Shrine Comics). It also acts as a continuation of the OG WEBTOON version of the series. Why did I make it? In 2018, I felt the desire to do a character design challenge for myself where I made an all-girls fighting game roster and it devolved into this.

What's it actually about? People of this world got superpowers, which are called "stains". Professional fighting is the biggest sport to showcase those powers, but it was made illegal in the city of Santana back in 1998. But one of the sport's biggest athletes (named KC) decides to bring the sport back in 2018, with a whole new tournament called Hamama. With two of the tourney's headliners being her own granddaughters, Makayla and Naomi. Makayla has a stain like KC's, but Naomi doesn't. She has no powers at all. She's stainless. But that's not stopping her from taking to the stage as a new celebrity athlete, no matter what's in her way. Including Makayla.

TL;DR, Two sisters hate each other and they're competing to become sport stars.

So yeah, that's my manga. It's been on hiatus since June (I've been building up a monstrous backlog and it will be back next year). Here's some pages out of context and a link, go read it.

here's some headcanons abt this:

•chaos/soul emeralds are gems often used for accessories and jewelry (think the mega bands in Pokemon, people can get custom holders for their emeralds)

•blaze has soul emerald hair clips

•she doesn't use her burning form often, it's a symbol of how much she trusts you if she lets you see her like this

•in the pic, i kinda intended it like she was showing this form to silver when they were spending the night together

•silver doesn't shut up about how cool blaze is, but he keeps this moment private to respect blaze's wishes

•when it finally comes out that silver and blaze are dating, sonic will just try to one up silver by bragging to him about how he also saw blazing back when he was dating blaze

•silver will take this as a slight and punch him. no psychic shit, just punch him. ("that was a private moment! don't disrespect blaze and keep it private!") and sonic will try to defend himself for a bit before apologizing

I apologise for the confusion that happened since yesterday as I was giving everything every single thing a second and a huge thought.

I will try to be short and choose my words carefully as much as I can.

The main reason for creating this blog was helping campaign owners to be vetted in front of publishers and doners.

In the past few days I reached a conclusion it's all a " lie " has unfortunately been twisted into a manipulative tactics by certain blogs.

So my dear friends seeking to be vetted to get more cash into your campaigns, please don't get fooled don't let any one play you or use you and be a tool in a very disgusting scheme, it was never about vetting as it was @&& buttering to these blog owners.

As the founding father of this blog I DECLARE that I have nothing to do with any previous vetted campaigns or any might appear in the future.

As for the future of this blog I have no idea for now I know its a huge let down but I trust KARMA and I KNOW the universe works in misteros ways specially the LOA, so in MIDST of the war I will have my pop corn bucket and 3D glasses set down and watch 🤣.

Help my family🩸

I am nedaa from the Gaza Strip. In the beginning, we lived for a short time in our house in temporary stability because our country was not a country of stability in the first place due to the ongoing wars on the Strip. My husband had a job and he had a source of income sufficient for us initially. On the seventh day of October, and on this morning, we woke up to... The beginning of this bloody war, shortly after the bombs fell on us and the disappearance of our basic needs of food, water, the necessities of life, pampers and milk, and after the bombing that hit the homes next to us, and after that we were forced to leave the house due to a ground operation and an order to evacuate the homes and the advance of tanks and shooting at us. We went out and my children and I could not. My husband and I wanted to take the most basic needs of blankets, mattresses, clothes, and food due to the lack of transportation during those difficult days. This was in the month of January, when it was winter and bitter cold. We walked long distances and were stranded until after that we were able to reach and flee to the city of Rafah, which was sparsely populated and almost Deprived of life, we were displaced to a place made up of tin, where deadly insects and germs were eating the bodies of our children. There was no water, no food, and nothing of the necessities of life. We struggled to get some food and water, and after a while, due to the severe bombing next to us, we were forced to flee again to the Khan Yunis suburbs. We were displaced inside the Khan Yunis suburbs for more than Once, due to violent bombing and shooting over our heads, we lived in tents made of cloth and wood, and my children lived through difficult days of fear and anxiety due to the intensity of the bombing. We learned during those days that our small house, which we had originally carved out of my father’s house, had been largely destroyed due to the violent bombing, and after several months. Living in tents, high heat, and the bitter cold of winter led to the withdrawal of vehicles from the areas in which we live, and we were able to reach our homes, which we were shocked by at the scene we saw of the horror of destruction caused by that war. We were forced to return to our destroyed home and set up shields to protect us from the elements of nature, and there was nothing there. Among the necessities of life, there is no food or water. The infrastructure was and still is completely destroyed, with sewage in the streets and we cannot bring water except with great difficulty. Now we are exposed to the cold and harsh winter and we need scarves and nylon to cover ourselves from the winter water. Even now we are exposed to shelling, bombs and gunfire. What is the fault of my children, Aysel? And Nidal, they live in this disastrous situation that does not provide them with the simplest basics of life, such as Pampers, milk, and all the necessities of life, and now we are living in a war of exorbitant prices in which we cannot provide the money to buy these needs, and now I am speaking to you, I and my small family are forced to ask for help from you so that we can secure a future. For my children, as we travel outside this country because of the constant wars, do not let us down and do not deprive us of your kindness and generosity.

My name is Mohammed Ayyad from Gaza. My wife, children and I were displaced quickly since the first days of the war on Gaza, leaving behind all our wealth and dreams. We are forced to leave our home and live in the south of Gaza, Rafah.

A few days after we left the house and went to the south (Rafah) we announce our tactics to our home with ease our beautiful next and destroyed everything we owned. Everything we had went with the wind, we are now working in hell (the tent) suffering one from collecting wood to cook food which is clearly difficult to produce from the water that was spread and is polluted by the cursed war and our work we lose our source of livelihood.

I became a desperate refugee and dug into a very small tent, without water and food life became horrible and sad with the disappearance of the need to survive. It is a struggle for survival.

Because of the continuous bombing and the difficulty of living with the high expectations our life is security our life is peace, we ask generous people to donate to service our planes. Our lives are threatened at any time, and everyone is exposed and death is not. We have never been safely moved to a place until war, and we have never lost our lives at any moment. Every little contribution counts, and your donation, small and big, makes an impact and helps improve safety and compatibility.
