Tbh I like Ren as a messy ugly ‘not a good’ victim. But at the same time I do wish his choices didn’t come to becoming Fox. I just do not find Fox to be fun unlike btd2 Ren.

i saw lots of ppl talking about this so i am putting in my two cents .. i lowkey wish ren didn't come back as fox. i wish he got the opportunity to heal as much as possible and that he got the support he needed.

but also, i like that gatobob didn't back away from writing him as a victim whose trauma didn't make him:

- stronger

- kinder

- softer

i like that strade's abuse wasn't brushed off and wasn't something ren could fix immediately. I haven't played TPOF, so i don't know how ren's abuse is portrayed over there and how much it affects him as a grown ass man, but i do know what he became.

i really wish we got to see him heal, even if he never approaches relationships normally again, i wish we got to see him in a better state of mind, but i guess this is sort of realistic too lol, i just wanna play TPOF for ren and see what he's up to now tbh

I just found out two local gay artists were found murdered in their home. fuck. jesus. I knew these guys. I own their art. I've attended so many gallery openings at their shop. they've meant so much to the community here. and they're just fucking gone? just like that?

and of course the cops are claiming it's not a hate crime.

i just remembered a story my first plug told me. she's butch and gets mistaken for a man a lot. one time she was walking home when a guy pulled a knife on her and asked for everything in her pockets. panicking, she said "ok" and the guy hearing her voice was like "oh shit, are you a girl?" and she was like "yeah" and he put the knife away and said something like "sorry. i can't do this to a woman" and left. feminist ally.
