Chapter 08: "The sotryline was so ridiculous"

The two race each other to your dorm, Suguru is terrified, Satoru is angry.Your brother gets there first, banging on the door as Suguru races down the hall.

You were still asleep, when you heard the knocking, you woke up. When your eyes fully adjusted to the morning light, you realized Suguru wasn't there anymore. You didn't even have time to process his absence fully before the knocking got louder.

By the time Suguru reaches your room, Satoru is already there, banging on the door forcefully.

"[NAME]! Open the door! Dammit, [NAME]! I know you're in there!"

Satoru's voice is nearly feral with anger and hurt.

You groan and roll your eyes at your brothers voice. You open the door non chalantly, oblivious to the tension

"What do you want? You know how early it is?"

Satoru storms into the room, his eyes locking onto you with a dangerous glare. His hands are clenched into fists, the anger and hurt practically radiating from every pore.

Suguru follows quickly, trying to diffuse the situation before it spirals out of control.

You watch as Suguru follows closely behind, confusion plastered on your face.

Suguru steps forward and puts a gentle hand on Satoru's shoulder, trying to bring him back from the edge of his anger.

"Satoru, wait. Maybe we should-"

But Satoru shrugs off Suguru's touch, his eyes still fixed on you.

Satoru can't believe he's seeing his sister in this casual, carefree state. It only serves to fuel his anger further, the sight of her so unbothered a stark contrast to his own inner turmoil.

"Do you have any idea what you've done, [NAME]?"

His voice is steely and cold as he speaks, the words laced with a mixture of disappointment and betrayal.

"What? What are you talking about?"

Satoru's jaw clenches, his eyes narrowing as he pins his sister with an intense glare.

"You and Suguru. Don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about. I know about you two."

The revelation seems to hit you for the first time, your face pales as you understand the gravity of the situation.

You run a frustrated hand through your hair, revealing some marks on your neck from the previous night.

Satoru freezes as his eyes land on the marks on his sister's neck. His eyes widen, realization hitting him like a punch to the gut. The sight of the marks confirms what he'd probably guessed, but a part of him had still been clinging to the hope that it wasn't true.

His anger and hurt quickly turns to fury as he glares at Suguru, who looks guiltily at the floor.

"Suguru, you... You bastard! How could you do this to me?!"

Satoru's voice is barely controlled, his entire body tensed like a coil ready to snap. He moves forward, the sheer strength of his emotions threatening to spill over.

Suguru instinctively takes a step back, hands raised in a placating gesture. He looks guilty and remorseful but determined to defend himself.

"Satoru, please, just hear me out-"

But Satoru isn't listening. His anger has overtaken all reason, and his mind is focused only on the betrayal he feels.

"No, I don't want to hear your excuses. I trusted you, Suguru. Trusted you to look out for my sister. And this is what you do behind my back?! You sleep with her, and then what, you just expect me to be fine with it?! What kind of friend are you?!"

"It was just... just.. a moment of impulsiveness..."

Your gaze quickly flashes to Suguru.

"It didn't mean anything."

Suguru flinches at the nonchalant way you brushed off the gravity of the situation. The words cut through him, the implication that it was nothing meaningful hurt deeper than he thought possible.

Satoru's eyes narrow, his skepticism only growing.

"A moment of impulsiveness? Is that all it was to you? Just some impulsive action, like buying something on a whim or deciding to skip school for the day?"

"I-"

Satoru continues, his voice sharp and biting.

"And what about you, Suguru? Was it just a moment of impulsiveness for you, too? Or did you actually think this through and still decide to go for it, knowing it was wrong?"

He turns his attention to Suguru

Suguru meets Satoru's intense gaze, a flicker of guilt and remorse passing over his features at the mention of the similarities between you and Satoru.

"Satoru, I-"

He starts then pauses, struggling to find the words that will make it all better. But there are none, nothing that he can say that will lessen the pain and betrayal that Satoru is feeling.

He sighs heavily, finally finding his voice again.

"I... I never intended for things to happen the way they did. But I... I care about her, Satoru. A lot. And I know it doesn't change what happened, but I need you to know that. It's not just some meaningless fling for me-"

Satoru's expression hardens even further at Suguru's words, clearly not wanting to hear them.

"Spare me the bullshit excuses and apologies. It doesn't change anything. You betrayed my trust, and you hurt me. You can't just act like it's all fine now because you say you 'care' about her."

Suguru clenches his fists, frustration and remorse warring inside him. He knows Satoru is right, that he messed up royally and hurt him in the worst possible way. But he needs Satoru to understand, to give him a chance to fix things.

"I know it's my fault, Satoru. I know I shouldn't have let things go this far. But I meant what I said. I care about her, dammit. I care about her so much!"

Just then, Satoru snaps, and punches Suguru, walking out of the room in pure anger.

Chapter 07: "Nobody I knew would be believing me"

The next morning, he wakes up early, six-thrity in the morning. He looks down at you, still asleep in his arms. He knows he should go, but it breaks his heart to leave you when you're so comfortable. He sighs, gathers his courage, and untangled himself from you, quietly and quickly crawling out of your bed, and rushes to put his clothes on without waking you up. Once he's done, he goes to open your door, but something stops him from opening it. He looks over at you, so peaceful and perfect. He can't help but smile a little at the sight. He walks over to you, pecking your forehead, his lips feather light. Then, he leaves, closing your door as silently as possible. He runs a hand through his hair, looking down at his feet as he walks through the dormitory halls.

Suguru tenses as he suddenly hears footsteps coming from behind him. He turns around to see Satoru walking towards him, a smirk on his face and a yawn escaping his lips.

"Hey, Suguru. Where are you off to this early in the morning?"

Suguru forces a casual smile, his heart racing in his chest. He had thought he had gotten away without being seen, but unfortunately, luck wasn't on his side this morning.

"Just heading back to my room. Thought I'd get an early start on some training before classes."

Satoru eyes him up and down, an eyebrow raised in suspicion. He leans against the wall, arms crossed, and studies Suguru, his gaze piercing and analytical.

"Mmhm. Training, huh? At this hour? You never strike me as the early bird type."

Suguru can feel a bead of sweat forming on his forehead as he tries to keep his expression neutral. Damn Satoru for being so perceptive. He shrugs nonchalantly, hoping to dismiss any suspicions.

"Yeah, just feeling a bit restless today, thought some early training might help."

He takes note of Suguru's slightly disheveled clothes, like he rushed to put them on.. his messy hair, like he just got out of bed... He knew Suguru well, he knew he would never do anything sorcery related without putting his hair up. He knew his vision would be blocked if he didn't. Yet here he was, hair down. Yes, he could have just put it down after the training, but he something in his gut didn't feel good.

"You had your hair down?"

Suguru's face goes confused, he looks around.

"Maybe I'm getting pranked."

"Um, yeah? Yeah I had my hair down."

He says without thinking.

Satoru's eyes widen, as if onto something.

"You didn't train! You put your hair up when you do!"

Suguru mentally slaps himself for letting that slip.

"Satoru listen, I can-"

Satoru steps closer, and goes to open his mouth to cut him off, but he notices something dangling off his sweatpants. A shiny, little bracelet charm. He pauses trying to remember where he's seen it. It's a little purple heart, so simple, yet so familiar.

Suguru can feel Satoru's gaze burning into him, the intensity of it almost making him squirm. He doesn't even notice what Satoru's eyes have caught. Or that the charm was even stuck to his pants.

The realization hits Saotru like a cold bucket of ice. He knew where that charm was from. He gave it to you, when you were little, and you had put it on a bracelet you've worn ever since.

"That charm. It's [NAME]'s. I know it, I gave it to her. Why is it on your pants?"

"Oh, that... it might've been..."

He can't think of a lie.

Satoru's eyes widen at the possible implications. His mind immediately goes to the worst (and correct) scenario. He just gasps, and Suguru doesn't know what to do. Before he can even react, Satoru's running. But not towards Suguru, instead, in the way of your dorm. Suguru internally panics, and races behind him.

Chapter 06: "When the lights go out"

Several hours later, the room is quiet and dim, the only sound the gentle rise and fall of their breaths. Suguru lies on his back, his chest heaving as he stares up at the ceiling. His entire body is thrumming with the aftermath of their activities, his mind swirling with a mixture of satisfaction and regret. He glances over at you, sleeping soundly next to him, realization finally hit him.

He just slept with his best friend's little sister.

He lets out a soft groan, scrubbing a hand over his face. How could he let this happen? He was supposed to be the responsible one, the one who thought things through. Instead, he gave in to his desires and allowed himself to cross a line he knew he shouldn't.

Suguru looks over at you again, taking a moment to admire your peaceful sleeping face. He can't help the tinge of guilt that pools in his stomach. He knew Satoru would be furious if he found out about this. Suguru had just betrayed his trust in the worst way possible.

As much as he wants to reach out and touch you, to pull you closer and hold you against him, drowning his worries into you, he resists the urge. He knows he can't change what happened, but he can still control the aftermath. He quietly gets up from the bed, careful not to wake you, and begins dressing himself in the dim room.His mind is awhirl with thoughts of what Satoru's reaction will be, how he's going to explain this, if he should even say anything at all. The guilt and worry gnaw at his gut as he finishes dressing and looks down at you.

You stir a little when you realize he's no longer next to you, rubbing your eyes and forcing your sleepy body to sit up.

Suguru's gaze softens as he sees you stirring, his heart squeezing with an unexpected pang of regret. He debates for a moment, not sure if he should stay or go, but the thought of facing Satoru's wrath in the morning compels him to remain quiet. He watches you, torn between watching you wake up and leaving before you realize he's still there.

You groan sleepily, rubbing your eyes.

"What are you doing?"

Suguru tenses at your groggy voice, his eyes flickering to you as you slowly wake up. He hesitates, not sure how to answer your question. The truth feels too heavy, too complicated to explain right now.

"I was just getting ready to leave..."

You pout, starting to fully wake up.

"Why?"

Suguru lets out a sigh, his shoulders slumping slightly. The guilt and worry are still gnawing at his gut, making it hard to look directly at you. He knows he needs to say something, but he's hoping to keep the truth from you for now.

"I just..."

He stops, unsure how to continue. How can he explain what he's feeling without revealing too much? He finally settles on a half-truth.

"I just don't think we should have done this."

Suguru's jaw clenches as you mention Satoru's name. Of course, it's all about Satoru. This whole mess is because of his best friend and your brother.

"Yeah... it's about Satoru. Or more specifically, how badly he's going to react when he finds out about this."

"So he won't find out."

Suguru scoffs, a bitter laugh bubbling up in his throat. He shakes his head, not believing your words.

"You really think we can keep this a secret? He's your damn brother, [NAME] How do you think he's going to react when he finds out that I slept with his little sister?"

Suguru runs a hand through his hair, his eyes widening in shock and slight horror as he realizes one more thing: your age gap.

Not only did he sleep with his best friend's sister, but he slept with his LITTLE sister. His 15 year old sister. Granted Suguru was only 2 years older, he knew Satoru wasn't going to see it that way.

Suguru stops pacing and turns to face you, his expression somber. He nods slowly, his eyes flickering down to the floor.

"Yeah, I'm worried. Satoru and I... we're best friends. We've been through everything together. I can't lose him. But this... this is going to change everything. I know he's going to be furious, and I don't know if he'll be able to forgive me for this."

You sigh, crossing your arms.

"Yeah, yeah I know, and I'm sorry. But he won't find out if we don't tell him and keep our distance for a bit."

Suguru sighs, his mind already working through various scenarios, trying to figure out the best way to handle this situation.

"Maybe... I'm not sure it'll work, but we can try to keep our distance for a while. Avoid being seen together as much as possible. And if we do have to be around each other, we'll have to be careful to act as if nothing has changed."

You nod in agreement.

"Right.. and you can leave here early in the morning.. before he wakes up... just please, stay the night?"

You step closer, your head finding a place on his shoulder.

Suguru's heart clenches as you lay your head on his shoulder, a mixture of desire and regret stirring within him. The pleading tone of your voice tugs at his heartstrings, and he can't bring himself to deny you.

"Okay... I'll stay."

He wraps his arm around you, his embrace gentle and comforting as he holds you close.

He relaxes a little as he feels your presence against him, your warmth and the feel of your body against his providing a small bit of peace in the midst of the chaos swirling around them.

"We'll figure something out, okay? We'll find a way to keep Satoru in the dark for as long as possible."

"Just try to get some sleep, alright? We'll figure it out in the morning."

The two of you make your way back to your bed, laying down, intertwined.

From what I rmr it was kinda slow burn and at the end when they graduate & megumi goes to Jujutsu High the reader secretly calls gojo and tells him they want to go bc he had offered them a spot earlier but the reader is only taking it to be with megumi also there's a scene where megumi was sleeping on the roof bc he was skipping class and the reader meets him up there and offers him notes from the class he missed that's all I rmr 😭

Chapter 05: On her king sized bed

His heart is racing, he know what you have planned for him, but doesn't know if you two should go through with it. His body is filled with pure desire and love for you, but his loyalty to Satoru is piercing through that.

When the two of you reach your dorm and walk in, he knows he needs to say something. But that's quickly thrown out the window when you kiss him again. He finds himself melting into you, arms wrapped around you. One thing led to another, and now he's sitting in front of you, on your bed. Your back is against your pillows, legs next to his. You can see the hesitation in his eyes, and you know exactly why it's there. You cup his face, your own eyes filled with understanding.

"We don't have to do this if your not comfortable with it."

You say reluctantly.

He pauses, thinking about it. He doesn't want to go against Satoru's wishes like this, but he also wants you. And with the way you're looking at him, big eyes filled with overwhelming desire. He nearly backs out, but his need for you gets the better of him, and now his lips are on yours.

The kiss is soft and passionate, with your tounge gently poking at his lower lips. He allows you in quickly. Your mouths move together in perfect harmony. He gently lays you down properly, and his hand trails down your body, never breaking the kiss.
