i dont consider myself a 'fashion guru' by any means but one thing i will say is guys you dont need to know the specific brand an item you like is - you need to know what the item is called. very rarely does a brand matter, but knowing that pair of pants is called 'cargo' vs 'boot cut' or the names of dress styles is going to help you find clothes you like WAAAYYYY faster than brand shopping

This isn’t directed @ anyone specific just a side effect of some stuff I’ve been dealing with lately but for whoever needs to hear it, as a 25 year old who has seen many friendships fall apart in my days, one of the most important social skills you need to learn how to do is approaching someone in your life when you have a problem with something they said or did

I think social media and general internet talking is great and all but it gives way to a lot of really bad habits like, reading a message and getting upset, ignoring the other person, unfollowing/blocking in response, things that would otherwise be noticeable in a face to face interaction

It’s not healthy or productive at all to stew in frustration while the other person has no idea you’re even upset, and when (or even if) you finally let them know days or weeks or god only knows how long later, you’ve given yourself way too much time to dwell into more extreme feelings. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had vicious arguments over things that were as simple as a misinterpretation of what I said and could’ve been solved in 5 minutes had they just said “hey, that hurts my feelings”

I know approaching people can be difficult and scary, but being an adult and maintaining adult relationships absolutely requires this basic communication skill. If you see a therapist, this is something they can absolutely help you with!

a few nights ago lotus and poison, iconic performers and trans women, were viciously attacked at legends gay nightclub. nobody intervened in a supposed community space. please help cover their medical expenses and show them they are not alone. they were absolutely let down, and what kind of community doesn't help its most vulnerable? consider showing them support both emotionally and financially after this dual trauma of abuse and neglect.

I've been on a big Digimon kick lately, returning to Cyber Sleuth after having gotten stuck on one of the Royal Knights for ages. I've been toying around with the idea of what kind of Digimon I'd want for a partner, and decided to mock up this idea for an evolution of Toyagumon. Meet Toyrannomon!

I figure he digivolves into Ex-Tyrannomon to keep the toy theme, and then sheds the dinosaur suit to become some kind of elegant dinosaur knight lady. Something between Angewomon and Rubeusdramon.

I haven't done any Lego digital modelling since Digital Designer was still running; it was fun to give Stud.io a try, especially to take advantage of their built-in rendering options.

the whole 'nobody would miss me if i were gone' line of reasoning is so completely and mindblowingly false, it's almost laughable if you take a couple steps back. there's a lady at work who has been there for maybe two or three weeks and has only talked to me a handful of times, ask where the necklace i usually wear went. another person asked where i was cause i wasn't scheduled for about a week. i regularly think of friends who have deactivated their accounts or who i've lost contact with and what id tell them. i still think about people i haven't talked to for years even though i didn't know them well. people still think about you even if you're a passing specter on the street. and that's not even holding a candle to how much the people who are personally involved in your life care. people do notice and care. all the time. it might be hard to see it or remember it but people do care. ily.
